Frank, in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja, said that majority of real voters never gave their mandate to the APC’s presidential candidate in the last election, adding that the Supreme Court will decide the true winner which he said is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

He stated that May 29 would have been a day of joy but Nigerians are mourning because of a government that has forced herself on them, “however we remain hopeful that the judiciary would restore our stolen mandate.”

Residents of Enugu state have now devised another means of punishing thieves after they whipped a thief, served him food before making him clear dirty gutter in Enugu.

Five serving Nigerian Army personnel have been arrested for stealing.

Five soldiers have been apprehended by the Borno state police command for personnel for allegedly stealing a car, tricycle and other items at gunpoint.

Confirming the incident, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Aliyu that two soldiers, who were armed with AK-47 rifle and locally made pistol, robbed a tricycle rider and driver of a golf car in two locations in the state.

Samuel Emeka, 30 year-old-pastor has been nabbed for allegedly abducting an 11-year old boy in Awkuzu, Oyi local government area of Anambra State.

The victim, Ikechukwu Ozoekwe, was reportedly kidnapped at Umoubi community in Anambra.

Depressed Nigerian man sets his BSc and NYSC certificates on fire after being unable to secure a job five years after graduation

A depressed and suicidal Nigerian man has burnt his BSc and NYSC certificates. In a video he sent to LIB, the man identified as Korede, said he graduated 5 years ago from the Ladoke Akintola University at the age of 23 and is yet to secure a job.

According to the man, he got admission to further his education in a Canadian University but was unable to go because he was not financially stable.

A notorious armed robbery suspect has been arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Imo State Police Command.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Imo State Police Command said it has arrested a suspected notorious armed robber, Kelvin Eze.

According to reports, Eze, 33, was arrested in connection with a robbery incident in Owerri, the state capital.

A police source disclosed that on February 25, 2018, at Emmanuel College, Owerri, one Kingsley Iheanacho was robbed at gunpoint and his Toyota Avalon car was taken away, adding that the stolen Avalon, coupled with other cars; a laptop; razor blade; and marijuana were recovered from the suspect.

School children escaped death from a ghastly accident as a truck loaded with cows collided with electric high-tension wire.

The Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM) has called out ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo over another failed plot to incite violence across the nation.

Mr Obasanjo, Nigeria’s number one citizen between 1999 and 2007 had claimed that Boko Haram and marauding Fulani herdsmen are out to Islamize and Fulanize Nigeria and entire West Africa.

However, in response, the Coalition for Nigeria Movement believes this is another coy by the “professional rabble-rouser” to cause friction in the much-admired relationship between Christians and Muslims.

A former Deputy National Publicuty Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has commended a report released by a U.S.-based firm, Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, for “exposing an Isreali-based political consulting and lobbying firm named Archimedes”, for allegedly coordinating false reports on social media against former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Facebook had on Thursday banned Archimedes from the platform over its “coordinated and deceptive behavior” as well as conducted a sweeping takedown of dozens of accounts and hundreds of pages primarily aimed at disrupting elections in African countries, with some scattered activity in Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Reacting to the development through a statement on Saturday, Frank said that the world will gradually know all the evil secret behind the declaration of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the last presidential election.

Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team have smashed a robbery gang which specialised in robbing women of expensive vehicles in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Three members of the gang arrested by the police were identified as Ego Ike, Obinna Igwe and Adamu Nuhu.



City Round learnt that the suspects usually took the stolen vehicles to Niger Republic, where they sold them.

It was gathered that the police went after the gang members after they allegedly stole a 2016 Toyota Corolla from an official of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, who was on her way home from work.

The suspects were said to have driven the car to Katsina State, from where they took it to Niger Republic.

Nigerien policemen reportedly impounded the vehicle and arrested a member of the gang identified simply as Yellow, while the three others escaped.

Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has alleged that assassins are after her life and that of her son, Olajuwon.

Speaking with a news agency yesterday, she claimed that her life and that of her son was under threat for supporting President Muhammadu Buhari during the last presidential election.

Mrs Obasanjo said reliable information at her disposal disclosed that former President Obasanjo paid the assassins who are already on her trail with the aim of killing her and Olajuwon.

According to her, the assassins plan to make the scene look like that of an armed robbery operation after killing her and her son.

She said: ”I want the world to know that my life and that of my son, Olujonwo is under threat for supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in the last election.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, returned to Nigeria after ten days trip to the United Kingdom.

The presidential jet touched down at about 6.20pm on Sunday, at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja.

On his return to Nigeria, the President said he is ready to settle down and swear in the new cabinet.


He, however, refused to comment on those who will make his next cabinet.

Buhari said this while fielding questions from reporters.

There was anxiety on Sunday in Ayingba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, over killing one Ismaila Agba, a youth leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area.


The Nation reports that the APC youth leader, who is also the head of the Kogi East Cashew produce unit of the revenue drive department of state government and chairman of Anyigba-Lagos loading point, died during the exchange of gunfire at Agwudoko area.

Exactly 32 years ago today, the notorious bandit who terrorised Benin City and almost the Whole state in Nigeria.

The 80s , Lawrence Nomanyagbon Anini A.K.A. “Ovbigbo” or “the Law” and some members of his gang were executed by firing squad after being convicted by the defunct Bendel Armed Robbery and Firearms Tribunal presided over by Justice James Omo-Agege

In an operation in August 1986, the Anini team struck at First Bank, Sabongida-Ora, where they carted away from some millions of naira. But although the amount was stolen was seen as “chicken feed”, many persons were killed.

On September 6, the same year, the Anini gang snatched a Peugeot 504 car from Albert Otoe, the driver of the famous super cop Assistant Inspector General of Police, Christopher Omeben.


In snatching the car, they killed the driver and went to hide his corpse somewhere. It was not until three months later that the skeleton of the driver was spotted 16 kilometers away from Benin City, along the Benin-Agbor highway.


A day after this attack, Anini, operating in a Passat car believed to have been stolen, also affected the snatching of another Peugeot 504 car near the former FEDECO office, in Benin.


Two days later, the Anini men killed two policemen in Orhiowon Local Government of the state. Still, in that month, three different robbery attacks, all pointing to Anini’s involvement, took place.

They include the murder of Frank Unoarumi, a former employee of the Nigerian Observer newspapers; the killing of Mrs. Remi Sobanjo, a chartered accountant, and the stealing of the Mercedes Benz car in Benin, of the Ughelli monarch, the Ovie.

Before September 1986 drew to a close, Anini struck at a gas station along Wire Road, Benin, where he stole a substantial part of the day’s sales.

He shot the station’s attendant and gleefully started spraying his booty along the road for people to pick.

Activist/Actress, Dorothy Njemanze, says some of the 70 girls allegedly arrested by men of the Utako Police station in Abuja, have accused some of the officers of forcefully having sex with them using pure water sachets as a condom.
