It appears like the majority of the folks here are sending paid emails. Is it possible to increase your chances of getting your visa approved or to speed up the application process by sending paid mails? |

Beedollas: Hi Sir, please help clarify. For me I am being fully sponsored, which means I won't be spending a dime from my Money.
What I put on the money I will be spending personally is My estimated expenses and what I put on the sponsor's column is the total money my sponsor will be giving me which is not the same amount.
My expenses is less than the amount my sponsor is giving me.
when I saw your reply, I went to edit my personal expenses to zero, but it refuse to register, it insisted that I put an amount.
In this case what do I do? As I will not be adding any funds because I don't have a pof to show in that regard.
Thank you in anticipation You can just put 1.00 GBP there They'll definitely know it's fully sponsored |

Simplest123: Good morning house,
Pls I need your advise, after filled my UK Visa application and paid for my Visa fees and booked for biometric appointment date, I realized a mistake where they asked in the application form that how much are you personally planning to spend on your UK Visa ?
I don't know that what they mean is total amount of your money that you intend to spend on your visit to the UK. Estimate the amount and include flights, accommodation and everyday expenses.
Actually my disposable income is 220k and my husband wanted to sponsor me with 300k
All my travel budget is 7000k ie my 2 month disposable income is 440k, but I wanted to spend 400k and plus my husband 300k sponsor which he as transferred into my bank account
I put 400k at where they ask how much are you personally planning to spend on your UK instead of 700k ie my 400 disposable + 300k my husband use to sponsor me
Althought I have not go for my biometric and can I put this on a cover letter for correction or can I submit the print out of my application section where that asked the question and write 700k ?
Please advise ..see the attached below You are correct in your response to the question. How much are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK --- 400K Will anyone be paying towards the cost of your visit? Your husband --- Yes How much are they paying towards your visit? Your Husband --- 300K In this case, they are going to sum them up totaling 700K ..You'll then submit your proof of funds as well as your husband's proof of funds to cover your travel expenses. |

Debbieeeeeee: Since my sister became a resident about ten years ago I’ve always had to include her details in my application and I’ve never had to put them call log details and co , just the basic things I previously mentioned and well of course they know just any stranger won’t have access to that , I forgot to add council tax bill too to the list of docs I usually upload Oh okay. I submitted copy of my sponsor's passport, Utility bill, Payslips, council tax bill, documents relating to his property and mortgage statement, without providing our texts, calls etc...hmm |

Debbieeeeeee: Your cover letter should fix it , but I’d have said cancel the thing and start again which is what I did when I made an error while filing my form , I didn’t go for biometrics or anything. But your cover letter should hopefully suffice Hoping so, thanks.. Please do they read cover letters at all? (decision makers) |

Hi Guys, Please I mistakenly selected a different country instead of UK. (Travel History). Is it really an issue?. Though, When submitting both documents and biometrics, I drafted a cover letter fixing the error and sent it to tls. |

Hi guys, I applied for UK Standard Visitor Visa last week, my UK Sponsor has traveled to my country (Ghana) for some business purpose (emergency) and will return to the UK next month. Will this have an impact on my UK visa application, as my sponsor is currently not in the UK but will be next month? My trip is scheduled for November 19th. |

giselle237: 1. If the fellow is sponsoring the trip as you said.. you need bank statement and payslips from him to prove financial status.. i repeat you need bank statement and payslips of your sponsor as you say you are not the one paying for the trip 2. You can not say you are going on a sponsored trip by a family friend for 6 weeks. 2 weeks is fair to put on your application. A student is goin to the uk to do what for 6 weeks?? What is purpose of trip? You say to visit a family friend?? 2 weeks or even 10 days if you are vaccinated looks better on paper. 3. You just got denied. Please address the reasons for ur refusal. If you can not adequately do that, both on paper and to prove your intention for the trip, and you get an impatient case worker you will be denied again. 4. You need to accurately answer to the case worker why this particular family friend is fully sponsoring your trip to the uk? why did such and such offer? It is not a big question but needs to be addressed on the application Thanks very much |

Tutu82: I understand this but you still haven’t said what he is offering to pay for.If he is offering anything more than accommodation he has to provide his bank statements and payslips or P60. Also Six weeks is a long time to go on holiday especially as it is not summer, are you a student or on some form of sabbatical from work?. Lastly what is the relationship between you both?. Best wishes. Oh Okay, He's a family friend and will be offering me an accommodation and trip cost. I am a student, school resumes January 15, 2022.. Should I collect a bank statement from him also, though he's already given me his Mortgage statement, Utility bills, passport and documents relating to his property. |

Tutu82: Like giselle237 asked you above what is he offering?.That would determine whether you need his bank statement or not. He's just inviting me to spend a holiday with him, for Six weeks. |

Hi Guys, Please, I'm applying for UK standard visit visa. My UK Sponsor sent me supporting documents including; Passport (Copy), utility bills, Documents relating to his properties (copies) and Mortgage Statement.. He's the one paying.
I want to ask, Would these supporting documents help me get the visa without he providing me his bank statement?...Or the Mortgage statement is in replace of the bank statement..?
Does the mortgage statement demonstrate funds to cover travel expenses without bank statement?.. |

Hi Guys Please I just received a refusal letter stating "I stated that it is self-sponsored". Thus, I made a big mistake on my application by selecting "NO" when they asked "Will anyone be paying towards the cost of you trip. Meanwhile, I'm a student and someone is sponsoring me. (UK Standard Visit Visa)
I want to ask, Can I re-apply within this week using the same documents I used for the previous application? Though, the intended trip dates on both my invitation letter and my Introductory letter from school has passed. Can I apply using the same documents? |
