Ikjosh04:

Print out your admission letter.

Also, it depends on the state and location of the branch of a bank cause most of this bank staffs don't know shit about the different bank operations besides the normal day to day transactions.

Go back there or use Zenith bank and tell the customer care or anyone inside the bank that you want to speak with the Trade officer.
Ikjosh04:

The bolded is wrong.

What you need to pay your fees in addition to the form A and the hand written letter of instruction telling your bank to debit the tution fee money out of your account is to generate a payment instruction from western union global business( it's quite easy to do that) and print it out.

Follow the instructions in your offer letter, the offer letter should have a clickable link that will take you directly to the western union website.

Dollar is scarce but you should get debited within 3wks after initiating the form A request.

The rate is btw 379-381.6 per usd has at last month.
I guess you are in Australia and you don’t know what is happening in Nigeria, so don’t doubt what the guy is saying. Maybe it was easy paying tuition through form A before but since after covid 19, it’s like a bull passing through a needle eye. FG gave banks directive to limit dollar transactions and currently, thousands of people who applied through form A are on queue. I got admission in the same deakin university and I hv been tryin to pay my tuition since last month using form A and it’s still pending. I toured nearly all the banks looking which that will do it faster buh they are all saying the same story. First bank actually stopped paying through western union unless through the school account directly. Even the first bank lady says they get only $10 million for form A allocation from CBN monthly and it barely enough. Banks like GTB, Access and FCMB pays to western union account buh currently the queue is much there too. Most times staff in the bank will even advice you to open a domiciliary account and go source the dollar yourself to make the payment faster if you need urgent payment. I even tried paying using GTB MasterCard and I was told that I can only make a 100 dollar transaction daily.

Please what's the estimation amount to pay for oshc after paying deposit for a 2 years masters degree program. Also will the oshc fee be refunded just like the tuition fee if the admission was declined?

NONNYG:
i still don’t understand the reason why you quoted me, is it that I live in UAE or not, Nigerians have this weird mentality, when things don’t work out for them, they begin to look for whom to blame, oga I joined this thread same way like you, and I read other people comments say way you read mine, I didn’t get a job with my bsc when I came, but my 2nd & 3rd job required my bsc attested by UAE embassy,,, so I don’t really get your point, UAE is not heaven,,, people are making it while some are not.. it all depends on ones destiny & determination. Thank you
Oga calm down jor. I never said anything bad about you whatsoever. I only mention you because you are one of the famous people promoting Uae travel in this forum. So you having a job with your bsc doesnt mean you earn more than me. So nwanne pasa
Nevertheless its still good to tell people about the real situation in Uae. The country no good again

NONNYG:
the matter weak me ogrin nothing wey I never see for nairaland
How time flies. I still remember when i was curious coming to this blog to ask about Uar travel. Sometimes its good to tell people the real truth about Uae and stop all the hype. I remember when i was about coming here in 2017 and i was seeking out nonny g and co and they all made it sound rosy. Forwarding to today, even thou i neva got a job with my b.eng certificate buh i was able to get a good job with a decent pay after lots of hussle, disapointmemts and trials.
In conclusion, i wil never advice anyone i know personally to come seeking for a jobs in uae because the chances of getting a job is 90:10. Thou some people like me were lucky to land a job buh more than 80% of people i know who came with tourist visa went back and very few got jobs mostly menial ones and the rest are street husslers. I wil advice instead of coming to Uae with the little money you have and watch it drain without landing, save it up and try schengen visas, china or turkey etc. Buh if you have the courage to try out Uae then i suggest you go for it. Magic do happen
NB: forget about the glamour you see from Uae residents when they come to naija, most of them actually made money from what they stole from you by extorting you from high visa fees. Be wise

From my experience i think it has to do with poverty and lack of education. When you live with indians and pakistanis you will understand how dirty they can be just like africans. So it boils down to ones standard of living

For once am reading something meaningful in Nairaland which is filled by broke ass tribal bigots. Kudos to this thread for such wonderful insights. I and my yoruba budddies are co-habiting peacefully here in the Emirates. Shoutout to one Nigeria

Now we have a strong opponent to contest against buhari. Markafi is the least tribal and religious person i have seen from the north. He was born a fulani buh he schooled in the east "FGC enugu my al mater and he built lots of facilities in the school during his tenure as a governor and he realy inspired us with his advices whenever he visits. This clearly shows he is the only northerner who is credible enough to rule us witout been partial and he treats people fairly. Lets pray he agrees to contest

I finally arrived uae safely, cool flight with Egyptair and their pricing is fair too. I went tru abuja airport so no much hassle there except the 1k I paid cause of the palm oil I was carrying and 1k for wrapping of the bag. Excellent meal in both flights and the cabin crew where extremely polite. Am camping now in sharja though planning to relocate to dubai on monday to stay closer to the work hussle.. the sun here isn't so bad as people said and uae also isn't all that beautiful also. Please if you have any connections on how to secure a job easier please contact me. ... hv met lots of crooked 9ja agents already.
