if u are returning to Nigeria, count 14 days after the day of 2nd dose. Vaccine day being day 0. Otherwise u must pay for day 2 and day 7. Clays betwn 80- 100k

Thank you very much. However, the travel is to Nigeria and the website states that you are either fully vaccinated or you take a pre departure test. If one is to go for vaccination and the 2nd dose is taken less than 14 days b4 departure, will that be okay?

All passengers travelling to Nigeria from any country MUST register via the online Nigeria International Travel Portal (nitp.ncdc.gov.ng)

Fully vaccinated passengers arriving in Nigeria will not be required to carry out a pre-boarding COVID-19 PCR test nor carry out a Post-arrival PCR test or Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival in Nigeria

Fully vaccinated passengers must show a verifiable full vaccination certificate otherwise, they will be treated as unvaccinated/partially vaccinated under this protocol

Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated passengers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test 48hrs before departure and conduct days 2 and 7 post-arrival PCR tests. Such passengers will be expected to pay for their PCR tests through the NITP

Children below the age of 18 years will be accorded the same privileges as persons who are fully vaccinated.

Passengers who do not adhere to the travel protocol will face the penalty as stipulated by the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19

There is no process. Just book your flight and go home. Make sure u start a renewal process before you travel and have concrete plans to get the passport in Nigeria before returning

You might want to use a web search to find PCR day 2 and 8 test near me, if you find one close enough I would suggest you go there and do the test. It is actually cheaper and you are allowed to do that. If Dante says they haven’t shipped and you can cancel. Waiting for another online delivery from another lab might take about two additional days.

Please, who has travelled to UK recently with kids of 5-13 years, did you do pre departure covid test for them?

My son travelled last week. He did a pre departure test and booked days 2 n 8 tests as well. However, when we got to the airport, they said he didnt need to do the test since he is below 18. This you will also see when you fill out the locator form. You only need a day 2
test upon arrival.
Note that he used Virgin airline.
Let others add their voice to this too.

I will advise you book early, get it waiting at your address b4 your arrival, take the test immediately you get to the destination and drop at post office (you are allowed to take day 2 test anytime b4 2nd day of arrival). With that you can get your result around your 4th day of arrival.

My wife (fully vaccinated) travelled through Lagos last and she was not asked of pre departure COVID-19 test. She did the test though to avoid stress from immigration /airport staffs.

Ensure your QR sticker on vaccination card reads that you are fully vaccinated.
