Most black Africans supported Super Eagles at that game while the white Africans like Egypt supported Morocco.
Same thing will happen during the third place and final matches. Blacks will support Nigeria and Senegal but Whites will support Egypt and Morocco. |

Crime › Re: Photos Of Street Criminals Caught In South Africa And Their Weapons by kernniejay(m): 8:31pm On Jan 15 |
Richtaiwo: Street criminals are rarely a convincing advertisement for their chosen “career,” which makes one wonder what the attraction is supposed to be. A casual look at most arrested criminals tells a consistent story, permanently hungry expressions, faces that look like they lost a long argument with soap and water, clothes that seem to have survived several disasters, and an overall scruffy, unkempt presentation.
To crown it all, they usually appear painfully poor, both in appearance and, regrettably, in intellect. Nothing about the package suggests glamour, success, or even basic comfort. So one is left with a genuine puzzle, what exactly is so appealing about crime, when its most visible ambassadors look like walking warnings rather than role models?
Just look at how irritatingly weird these ones appear, like some scary characters in extremely horrible horror movies. Very dangerous species of creatures. Imagine coming across these demons on a lonely path. All these rhymes over a post about street urchins? My friend pls save your poetic skills, the summary of it is that they are hardened criminals that will rot behind bars. |

Brendaniel: You see why Nigeria is not supposed to be one country, Democracy in Nigeria exposed the regional ideologies in Nigeria and 2 of these ideologies have been exposed to be one of the biggest problems of Nigeria:
1. The northern Islamic ideology( which is what you are seeing here)
2. The south west tribal ideology (which is what Tinubu is currently doing with his presidency)
Now, these 2 ideologies partnered since 2015 and the result is the Nigeria you see today, you might be thinking that these 2 sets of group are seeing Nigeria the way you are seeing it but no, to them Nigeria has never been better because they believe they are achieving their ideological dreams with what is going on in Nigeria today. You claim yorubas have tribal ideology against other tribes, yet other tribes succeed among the yorubas in the South West better than how those other tribes succeed in their own region. |

Crime › Re: What The Police Are Not Allowed To Do During An Arrest by kernniejay(m): 1:12pm On Jan 04 |
coputa: What the Police are not allowed to do during an Arrest.
1). They CANNOT arrest you over civil matters The police have no business arresting anyone because of: debts rent issues boyfriend–girlfriend quarrels business disagreements “He insulted me” Those are civil matters. The police exist for crime, not private disputes.
2). They CANNOT beat, slap, torture, or brutalize you No officer has the right to “discipline” you. Torture is illegal whether physical, verbal, or psychological. Even if you’re a suspect, you are still entitled to dignity under the law.
3). They CANNOT search your phone without your consent or a warrant Your phone is private property. They cannot forcefully open your messages, read your chats, go through your gallery, access your banking apps unless there is a lawful basis like a court warrant or immediate suspicion connected to the crime they stopped you for.
4). They CANNOT detain you longer than 24–48 hours without charging you They cannot keep you indefinitely. If there is evidence, charge you. If there is no evidence, release you. Keeping you beyond the constitutional time frame becomes unlawful detention.
5). They CANNOT refuse you access to your lawyer or family You have the right to call a lawyer speak with someone close to you, have legal representation during interrogation, blocking this right is unconstitutional.
6). They CANNOT force you to sign a statement Not even “just write your side.” Not even “sign here.” Your statement must be voluntarily written by you, made without threat, pressure, or intimidation If you’re not comfortable, you can say: “I prefer to remain silent until my lawyer arrives.”
7). They CANNOT arrest you without telling you the reason They must state the offence clearly. You cannot be arrested based on guesswork, vibes, or “follow me to the station first.”
8.) They CANNOT search your body disrespectfully Women must be searched by female officers. No officer can conduct a degrading or inappropriate search the law forbids it.
9). They CANNOT use arrest as a tool of intimidation Police power is for public safety not for settling scores, collecting “bail money,” or harassing citizens.
10). They CANNOT demand money for bail Bail is FREE. Whether the case is minor or serious. Any officer demanding money for bail is breaking the law.
Police officers have authority but that authority has boundaries. When you know those boundaries, you protect yourself because the difference between obedience and oppression is simply knowing your rights.
. Legal update All these are when you are a powerful person or you are well connected. But if you are just a common Nigerian, forget, police will commit all manners of atrocities against you and even threaten to kill you and tell you that nothing will happen. |

Antichristian2: Did Jesus and his disciples read the Bible to attain spiritual growth?
The Bible was collated together centuries after jesus left the earth!
What were they reading for spiritual growth back then? There were scriptures written by the prophets at that time. Jesus and His disciples read the scriptures which we now compile and call Bible these days. (Check Luke 4:16-20, Matthew 22:29-32, Acts 8:26-40) |

Btruth: Bible reading; the key to spiritual growth (1)
Fri, 2 Jan 2026
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth.” Joshua 1:8
God gave Joshua a big job: conquer the Promised Land and divide it up among the twelve tribes of Israel. He also gave him the key to success: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” God didn’t command Joshua to seek a spiritual experience or a personal revelation. He told him to meditate on the Scriptures.
Greg Hawkins and Cally Parkinson wrote a book called Move. They wanted to find the key factors for spiritual growth, so they surveyed the congregations of one thousand churches. Here’s what they found: “Nothing has a greater impact on spiritual growth than reflection on Scripture. If churches could only do one thing to help people at all levels of spiritual maturity grow in their relationship with Christ, their choice is clear. They would inspire, encourage, and equip their people to read the Bible.” You don’t grow in Christ simply because you’re busy in church; it happens automatically when you read and trust God’s Word. So engage with your Bible. Meditate on it day and night. Think and rethink on it. Let it be your guide. Make it your go-to book for questions. Let it be the ultimate authority in your life. Peter puts it this way: “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2 NKJV). May the Lord give us the grace not to be lazy in meditating on His word, amen. |
