Well, let me remind you again that Obi is not your President, so whatever Obi said or did not say is not the reason for your suffering. Now, I will advise you to hold your president accountable because he is the one in power, not his opponents.

Why are those people in the photos still hailing Tinubu despite that they are buying fuel at N540 per litre and experiencing multi-dimentional poverty? I don't know why africans are so stupid. Why can't people sit in their houses or stay wherever they are when this inhumane leaders are driving by so that they can feel how hated they are by the people? Anyway, poverty is at work so they may be expecting him to throw naira notes into the air for them to catch. In developed countries, any leader that the people are not happy with are either stoned with eggs or are booed to shame in the public, but here we hail them and give them the wrong notion that they are the best thing ever happened to us. It seems like the more Nigerians suffer, the better they feel.

I am surprised that Davido's billionaire father and his uncle (the Osun state governor) are not cautioning him to thread gently on these escapes. This is becoming unbecoming of a star. Davido should take a cue from Burna Boy who is even better good-looking and well known all over the world than he is. Women will flock around a star but self-discipline is the core. My heart is really with Chioma. That young lady has really seen a lot in the house of the Adelekes.
Which Burna Boy? Is it the Burna Boy that asked a married woman to leave her husband and come over to his crib in the nightclub which later caused gun shots to go off and had Burna fly out to France when the issue escalated? None of these celebrity peeps is holy abeg. As the saying goes, na everybody be coded thief but the person wey day break for him turn na him be confirmed 'barawo'.

Just gimme any movie of Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Darlton, Daniel Craig, you know what I mean by these names?
Well, if I see either Chris Hemsworth or Jason Statham, I'm also good to go.
If you don't have those, I wont mind any of Arnorld Schwarzenegger, Dulph Lundgren, Sylvester Stalon, Jean Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris.
If you can't provide any of the above at all, then I can manage Oliver Grunner, Wesley Snipes, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Angelina Jolie, Dwyane 'D Rock' Johnson, John Travolta.
Any movies outside these guys is just a mere cartoon to me.

Now let's share...
A young man with a wife and two children of 4 and 2 years old, lost his wife. He was working with a multinational company and just got promoted barely two months and was transfered to Southafrica, the wife was involved in a fatal car accident and got admitted here in Nigeria for more than 3 weeks before she finally gave up, and just before the wife died she was a little conscious and adviced not to brake the accident news to her husband, in the mean time her look alike younger sister has been sent from home to take care of her children while she was on admission, and the naive children practically sees her as their mother, when the news of her death was finally broken to the husband he became lost, dejected, despondent, sad sorrowful and all sort, now the husband had to come back to Nigeria on this emergency, to mourn, do the burial, and take care of the children, after another two weeks the sister is due to return, and she left, but then the man started having problems with the children crying for their mother's presence and the younger sister had to returned before the peace is restored to the children and the family, now this is a lookalike younger, more beautiful sister of their mother unknowingly to them, after few months thinga started getting emotional and romantic... I will keep the rest of the details

Now what would you advice, what would your opinion be?
Well, in order not to harm the psychology of the innocent children, the lady should continue performing the exact role of mother in her sister's children's life until those children are old enough to understand the truth. I know the lady may have to get married at some point and have her own family as well while the children may still be very young, she can still get married and she and the father of the children should have explained everything to the husband that she is just a make-up mother, I believe the husband should be reasonable enough to allow the children to stay with them till they reach teenage.

I'm not bothered about leaving her but what I'm against is being fooled you know, right now I've clicked off the relationship because she's not putting any work just more attitude. She doesn't want to leave because I'm a very attractive guy, down to earth, introverted, confident, muscular and I'm an entrepreneur but one thing I've never done us give her money because watching her closely she doesn't deserve it so I've never spent on her and she never asks because she's scared of looking like my ex I told her about that used me like a bank.

What's your thoughts?
You know what, I give you 4 stars for the last paragraph. I'm so proud of you when you said you're not bothered about her, you have clicked off the relationship, you've never given her money and I agree she doesn't deserve it. Move on and let her know you have no time for her robotic attitude. Expect that she will still come back with lies and excuses for her unacceptable behavior but just let her know that the "period of grace" has expired, your mind is made up and you are no more interested, no time to check time.

Sincerely speaking, I never thought people could be this wicked, yesterday I was gifted airtime , won it actually by helping someone with something, I then tried to convert the airtime to cash, I am badly in need of money so I was looking for someone to buy the airtime 1k for 1k, my very good friend recommended someone, I don't usually trust easily but since he was recommended, I decided to make an exception, yesterday evening I chatted him up and he said I should send the airtime to this mtn number 0 81 3201 2639..before sending it I made sure to let him know that that was all that was with me that without it I won't eat anything for the day talk less of the next, I said so much to garner sympathy to at least remove any mind of dubiousness if it was there, he assured me and I sent the airtime, I messaged him from yesterday till this morning with no reply until he blocked me about 2 hours ago, I told my friend and she says he has never acted like this before that he was the one who helped her out on several occasions
Nigerians are too wicked, I don't know whether it's the callousness of our rulers that cause it or it's just in the blood. Well, sorry for your experience pls, there is a law of retribution that does not spare any deed whether good or evil, all human deeds shall surely be visited.

She said I don't give her food and that I beat her. And is not true.
On this faithful day, I went to work just for to come back and see that she have packed all her belongings. I have been patient with my wife. She committed alot of atrocities that I still fogave her. My wife was once married but she never told me. My wife was twice pregnant for me but she always abortion the child.my wife always goes out without my permission. This her said aunty is divorces already. My wife also is now with her. Two ladies divorced living together without going back to their parents house.
Have you divorced her or planning to do so? If you have done so, I want to say congratulations. You just escaped a death trap. That woman does not deserve to be married.
But it seems you still love her with all these "my wife, my wife" in your post, are you sure you want to leave her??

Another silly question coming from a supposed adult. The other day, somebody was asking how much he should save from his salary of N75k, we are still trying to figure out the level of intelligence of that one and boom, this one surfaced again!
Do we know the kind of job you do, the condition of your work environment, the kind of transport you use everyday, your body odour and how heavy you sweat? I'm sure very soon another dunce will come with a question like "I am a human, but I don't know whether I'm a man or woman, any idea?" or something like "I just finished cooking a delicious meal but I don't know whether to eat or throw it away, please advise (note that I'm seriously hungry like mad)".
When you rely on other people's opinion before you take the simplest of decisions of your life or you need approval from others before you use your brain, then you seriously lack what is supposed to be a common sense and you are not qualified to be a minor let alone an adult. No insult intended please, just my own token.

Good day Nairalanders. I Recently got this job, after several attempts of applying both online and offline. My monthly salary is average #75,000 per month, I used the word "Average" because its not static. Sometimes it could lower, as low as 60,000 and hardly surpass 90,000...so it's a commission work.

And we all know commission work is not reliable, you could be fired anytime. So please my question is, with the Nigeria standard of living, couple with the recent economic hardship, so now, the question is how much is ideal to save per month from this Salary.

To and fro from my work place is around 850 per day. We report to office 3  or 4 times in a week sometimes. I noticed that at tmes I even struggled to survive on 60k a month, minus miscellaneous oooo...chai e no easy (p.s. single and I stay alone)

Please help move to front page.
I dislike these kind of questions. Things like this is supposed to be strictly a personal decision. You are the one that knows what you are aiming at financially and what expenses you incurred regularly. I believe you are older than 18 years so you are an adult, no more a minor. You work for your money so set your own financial goal by yourself.

Properties / Re: Man Laments While Showing Off The Kind Of Land He Bought (pics/vid) by kernniejay(m): 10:39am On Jun 26, 2023
I mentioned this before when I was talking about what to avoid when considering buying a piece of land. Here we go again:

Don't buy land close to petrol pipelines or gas pipelines.
You will always see indications erected along the pathway
where the pipeline runs underground. Don't buy any land
that is 50m close to such warning signs. God forbid, if
anything tampers with the pipe and it goes off in explosion,
all the houses along its path will be leveled.

2. Don't by any land that is situated under high tension
cables. I repeat, don't buy land under high tension cable.
Look up when you are on the land with the land sellers. Be
sure you are not hearing any humming noise from any high
tension cable around or close to the land.

3. Don't buy marshy land if you want to have rest of mind
and sleep with your eyes closed in your house on rainy
nights. It is often advised that the best time to go check a
house you want to rent is during rainy season, it is also
advisable to go check land during rainy season too, to give
you an idea what the area will be during flooding and what
your foundation will have to withstand, and moreso, if you
wont be needing to relocate to upland every year during
rainy seasons. Moreover, marshy areas are comfortable
habitat for reptiles and you will be seeing them often
around your house until other sites around you are all
cleared and developed.

4. Don't buy a land that is too close to factories or
industries releasing harzardous wastes into the atmosphere
or environment. It will be detrimental to your health and
other occupants in your house and you wont be able to
challenge them successfully because the area might have
been designated or earmarked for industries before you got
there.

5. Lastly, don't buy any land you are not sure of its former
owners if you are buying from individuals. Once your heart
start doubting what the sellers are telling you, please quit
the negotiation cleverly. Sometimes a particular land would
be sold to two or more different buyers who bought from
different agents or seperate family members of the original
owner. Some people have paid more than twice for the
same land because different family members keep showing
up telling the buyers that they were not aware their family
land was sold, now asking you to pay their own price all
over again. If you are buying from family of the first owner,
be sure you see all the family elders or key representatives
of every segment of the family involved and they all append
their signatures on the agreement to sell the land to you.
Cheers.
