Since I have been studying the Bible, I have never seen it written anywhere in the Bible that God approves showing off our treasures and wealth.

Salvation in Christ or God Almighty?

The word "Christian" comes from the name "Christ". The purpose of Christ when He came to earth was reconcile men to God and to give Salvation to enter heaven. Sin separates God and men, but Christ came to forgive sins and bring as many as believe in Him back to God.
Sin started from Satan and God's plan is to punish Satan forever and everything that associates with sin, but Christ does not want sinners to perish because He loves them, therefore He came to die in the place of sinners that believe in Him and repent from their sins so that when the time comes for God to punish Satan, the sinners will be saved (salvation) because Jesus has died for the sinners and taken their punishment. Those that believe in Jesus and live the kind of life He wants are the people called Christians. You can now see that Christianity is not a religion actually. It is a way of life of those that accept Christ and believe in Him. Feel free to ask any question if you still have.

Sequel to the post Made here about two weeks ago. We've finally found her corpse. I'm really disheartened. My heart is really heavy.

It's so sad that the corpse of my relative(f) who was kidnapped, had just been found dead.

This is one of the most dastardly, inhuman, evil, wicked and heinous acts I have ever heard.
She was killed and buried same night that she was abducted. She was buried just behind her house, she wasn't taken anywhere. They buried her in a shallow grave same night. We all had thought that she was taken away. This has never happened in our community. My village has no mobile network, no electricity, not even good roads. We drink water directly from the river, no boreholes. It's a village in all sense of it. It's the strangest thing ever heard, done and seen.


How did they find out?

Two Men in the community were chosen and financially empowered to seek spiritual help to enable us get to find out her whereabout, they met a spiritualist in a different location who asked then to go back home and search her backyard thoroughly. They got back and did as instructed, only to find a shallow grave where she was killed and buried.


This sad event occurred in Benue state.

Sorry about your sad experience. One thing is certain, the perpetrators will never go down to their grave peacefully.

I know many young people, some as young as 16 or 18, who use it every day, and their interests are very different from yours, you should just click on what interest you rather than castigating the plateform. This someone else's business.

There’s plenty of content that might interest you, for example, today El-Rufai is talking about Tinubu. At the same time, there are young users who want to stay updated on what’s happening in their country. You don’t have to click on everything you see.

The owners of this platform have certainly done their research, and they clearly know what they’re doing. It is not their fault naw, it is the fault of the weak government and his officials that are using them. There were two former head of state and president that I know this can never happen in their time; General Sani Abacha and President Olusegun Obasanjo. Aside these two, other presidents can not handle terrorism.

This one is still neat. You can hardly find a Nigerian used of this car that is neat with AC perfectly working. Most of them are thoroughly abused without mercy.

Who knows if he sorts some of them out of the money he swindles people? The actions of some of the moderators baffles me at times, deleting some messages put up about the guy.
My question is, if the guy didn't do these things, what will make people to be writing messages with annoyance, considering the situation of the country. They should allow people to vent their anger and stop blocking people's comments.

Sorry for your experience. For me, I don't deal with business people on Nairaland, I only do window shopping ot market survey to see their prices, then I proceed to Jiji or Facebook Marketplace to buy. My personal policy is that I don't pay until you deliver my order and I check it properly, that is when I can pay. Besides, Nairaland prices are for trillionaires like you, me am still a hustler.
Hope others have learnt lesson from your experience. Sorry once again.
