Anambra is best ...... blah...bla....blah............. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Your inherent nature of deceit and empty boasts with nothing to show does not convince even a blind man. By the way, why always comparing yourselves to Enugu? Sullivan did his wonders with only N94 billion naira , but you have almost N150 billion to play with and nothing tangible to show.

Aroli and co, You guys should STOP MAKING NOISE! Simply open your own thread and SHOW US all these Anambra best, best, best blah blah blah... we can only hear about but not see !!!
Go to ENSG ministry of works and learn how Enugu projects got funded. What's #94 billion naira? U no dey read signboard?
And please, can we leave these arguments, igboson, come and resolve this fire you started.
Chy or whatever, don't post any pix here .

Am not from anambra but All the people here bashing anambra don't know what they are talking about.
And to say the state doesn't have points for a good thread is a huge lie.
Granted no city or town there has sex.y roads all through, as a state, anambra is much more developed than many states sef.
Onitsha has got/is getting street and traffic lights, but sb said anambra hasn't got that. Upper iweka roads can be likened to the ones on Enugu too.
the state is a construction site now and I can tell you that in 5 years time, u won't say this.
If anambra is stuck with 70s trade, y did nnewi move from importation to manufacturing?
Must it be about shopping mall? Am surprised sb talked about kidnapping despite the clamping down by the new governor.
Let me tell you, sector by sector, anambra is better than Enugu.
So, an anambra thread will be interesting too.

I was only viewing and enjoying the thread until I saw his posts: calling us ochanja and main market traders with no achievements..was that called for? And I am serious when I say he isn't the first Imo person I'v come across insulting Anambarians.
Why will he attack a girl who was screaming proudly Anambra?
What stops him from screaming proudly Imo?
Nobody has monoply of insults, just wanted to prove that to him and I did.

EducationRe: Statistics for WAEC 2014 by ketoprofen(m): 6:11pm On Aug 30, 2014
emiye:
As to the boldened, what
WAEC classified as pass is
a candidate with at least 5
credits, Maths and English
inclusive, as such if a
candidate has 6 A's in 6
Wassce subjects and a d7
in English or Maths, it is
considered as failure by
WAEC.
There are a lot hidden under
the statistics.
In the SW, i think Maths and
English teachers in primary/
secondary schools need to
be given special recognition,
retrained , and a mandatory
pass clause in maths/
english for a student to be
promoted to the next class.
...................................................

Rubbish.
That shows that there are also people in SE who should make the list but couldn't because they couldn't pass English or maths.
Y not accept what is glaring and move on.
We have busted u have more special centers, now this .
@dgango1, u still don't have points .
If u have much that wrote the exam but only few passing it, it doesn't make sense statistically.
SE has a higher pass rate of the total population in the zone, meaning more people than not did well in the region.
Yours seems like only few people of the group know book.
Proportions n percentages matter more.

maestroferddi: And you believed her akuko na egwu! SMHH.
My own is that all parts of igboland have in one way or other brought glory to it and at the same time denigration .
I have seen anambra ppl denigrate imo and everyother group sef while I have seen imo peepz do same to anambra.
We all shouldn't keep doing this.
Imo and anambra peepz are progressive people, both in education, business, technologies, etc.
What I really will like is for more investments to be brought home to imo state esp ones not in SE like zinox, the pharmaceuticals, nollywood, etc, which imo people seem to dominate .
Anambrarians should become less uncouth in making utterances that can divide us, am talking of real life experiences; at the same time seeing what other Igbo groups have achieved before bashing them.
Anambra people are powerful too.

peppyluv02: And since you are blessed with the perfect comprehension skills and your are a grammarian what have you achieved in your miserable life?
I've met your type so many times. You remind me of the useless woman from your place whom I met sometime in ABC bus. From Lagos to Abuja all she was did was make mockery of Anambra people, calling our men traders and saying our women hussle like men. Said 80% of Anambarians are illiterates. Kept bragging about how posh and educated her people are. Nsukka and Ebonyi were not left out in her mockery. That was during the lenten period so I controlled myself and the two Igbo men who sat close to me begged me to ignore her because if I did,I will insult her. All the other tribes were laughing and enjoying her jokes. It wasn't funny but we ignored her. She isn't the first nor last and here you are doing the same thing.
Keep speaking your grammar as it is a very big achievement to you.Useless broke as5!

Musa: Anambra and others...

Maestroferddi, you are only speaking English but you are just a noise maker and a hater!
Imo fighting for emancipation for Igbos? Lol story for olympus. If Biafra will begin with uwazurike then God forbid biafra!!

Now let me tell you that you are seen as nothing but sabotuers in Igboland! You are the ones who are always romancing the yorubas and northerners. And I am not judging just from APC or whatever but from the attitude of a typical Imo man or woman. I live with them, have them as friends and inlaw so I know what I am saying and so does everyone.
Your posts alone shows it, look at how you turned it into a state bashing thread all because of jealousy! What right do you have to stop anyone who sings praises of their state or town?

If you meet an Igbo man who isn't proud of speaking Igbo in public,he is an Imo man!Ndi ala wu otu that is why your sisters are readily available for any thing with a third leg even a fulani man. You are so educated but your marriage custom reeks of greed and insecurity. Selling off your girls to the highest bidder and almost leaving your inlaw bankrupt!

Great Zik of Africa, Chinua Achebe, Okigbo brothers,Dim Ojukwu, philip Emeagwali, prof Dora Akunyili, Sir Emeka Anyaoku, Chimamanda Adichie, prof Nwafor Orizu(Ist senate president), prof PN Okeke (author of the popular physics textbook), prof Chike Obi,francis Cardinal Arinze etc
Pls list those your Imo men that have climbed everest, I am ready to know and learn.

You classify us as the main market and ochanja traders meanwhile those markets are filled with people from different tribes and countries, who come to distribute or buy goods. 80% of Anambra business men are literates and graduates. Some learn trade after secondary school by 22 when they get settled they go into school. A typical Igbo man is a gifted business man especially the Anambarians. Most Richest men in the world are they not business men? Must everyone be in the civil service or work for someone? You classification shows how daft you are.
Coscharis and Innoson are they not educated but still business men?
Everyone must not go to a tertiary institution but its proper for everyone to be literate! I'm sure you don't even know the difference between being literate and educated.
Are most of your boys not into yahoo even you! Rochas have been classified by most of your people as a fraudster. Empty vessel making the loudest noise and selling off his birth right all for power. IMSU is being classified as a school for sorting(paying lecturers to pass and buying a lecturers book for marks!) and prostitution!

Jealousy kills and i don't care if you let it eat you up!
I can see you want to turn this thread to something else and be sure I'm so ready for you. Nonsense! Efulefu that doesn't know the road to his father's house calling himself an Igbo man. Mtchewwwwww

Most of you don't even know what you're looking at, just jumping up and down.
Even ur fellow SW peeps decided to respect themselves, u are here living in denial.
Oyo state did so and so, as u said but look at the pass rate, abysmal.

EducationRe: Statistics for WAEC 2014 by ketoprofen(m):
django1: This happens in every remote area of this country, no student fails in those places until they write external exams but in Oyo state starting from two years ago or last year the state government gives them a mock exam before the waec and only students that passes gets their exams fee paid for by the government, hopeful this policy will ginger more students to take their studies more seriously. Hopefully.
My friend, go and sit down.
When it comes to public education, give it to easterners.
I schooled in the east and people who deserve to fail do so, no corper is warned not to fail sb.
But We were specifically warned not to fail or single out anybody doing malpractice in osun.

django1: One thing causing the falling standard of public education in the south west is the politics in teachers recruitment. Its never about merit just another means of satisfying some quarters and this will continue so far the electorate keeps seeking personal enrichment over the general good of the society.

omokab: I will start to believe all this statistic when WAEC on its own is serious on conducting the exams you check the percentage of student that pass in each state you will realize that majority of them are from village special centers. This is common to all state but is mostly peculiar to south east.Immagine a school in ebonyi state,Nnodo boys precisely I think over 200 suppose to write WAEC but only 3 student wrote WAEC in that school because the remaining ones had ran to special center. The media show this on news not by speculation.
This is worse in SW.
In SW, corpers are warned not to fail students in mere class exams not to talk of ..........
Corpers are also officially warned not to spot out those with exam malpractices.
SW has more miracle centers than any region

Kachisbarbie: Is that thing sanitation, that you can only dispose refuse from 5pm-9pm.
When I was serving in uyo, I lived @ Abak Road housing estate, I lost count of how many disposal points we had in that Estate, @ every entrance of the estate there was 1 or 2.

But now I stay in Aba, Eziama GRA, only 1 is very close to me @Brass junction. Sometimes I would get there and it will be filled, I can't drop it on the floor, they would ask me to go and come back the next day. Or better still I have to drive down further, when I know fully well that da 1 wud be filled too.

So, I just have to pay those peeps that arrange the refuse, then they allow me drop it on the floor.

Aba people will complain o, but they always find a way of adapting. That's why I like them.
U didn't get me sef.
I said Aba has little or no sanitation unlike some cities , so dropping tnz anyhow will be easy for inhabitants.
My grouse is that areas like these existed in Aba and all we had Been seeing for like 9years of nl were the bad sides.
