ISpiksDaTroof: Well, contrary to your accusations I do not hate Ibos. For what? Sure, out of all the groups in Nigeria, when it comes to monetary transactions I wouldn't trust them farther than I could throw them, but that doesn't mean I hate them.

Before PDP agents attacked NL and wiped off most of our old posts--- like you can attest to--- I usually came on here in neutrality. But, your ibo brothers would not let me be. Constantly attacking whatever views they deemed unpopular. Tell me, who boasts, chests beats, and constantly antagonizes others on here more than your kin? I state facts as I see them and if my constant saying things like " Ibos are as religiously and ethnically intolerant like the Hausas they love to condemn" or "Nigerians should call the bluff of the Ibos and vote out this criminal govt" is what makes you think I hate yall, then, hey....

But rest assured, I don't. Yall just need to do some character searching and stop irritating others so much with your attitude.

who cares about who you hate or not?

oneeast: Oils that other do not have? Apart from that cup of oil there is nothing else happening in that state called economic activities. The current GDP of Imo state is only second to Ebonyi in whole of SE.

what cup?
Why exactly are u denigrating your sister state? Imo has richer oil reserves than anambra, in fact, its the richest inland oil deposits in Nigeria.
What is wrong with you?
Does your support for igboland end with anambra,?
Anytime, they say something good about an Igbo state, you oppose it .
What have you even commented concerning the topic?

oneeast: That guy is does not know anything about the current SE GDP. Below is the current GDP ranking in the SE at the moment:

- Anambra

- Abia

- Enugu

- Imo

- Ebonyi

And what is wrong if imo, abia and Enugu have higher GDP than anambra?

Abagworo:

People make mistakes in correlation of GDP with standard of living or wealth. Aba has a higher consumption per capita than lagos. It is only 2nd to Port-Harcourt. What it means is that when you divide consumption of goods or cash flow in Aba by the resident population it is higher than Lagos even though Lagos economy is way bigger. Imo State has the highest GDP in Southeast according to one of the sources posted but has way much lower consumption per capita than Anambra or Abia.

You are very right

We were not talking about states whose people have more money in their pockets before you quoted me and I am not really equipped to debate that.Perhaps you want to create a thread to discuss that with your coevals?

Well, I will rather live in a state with people that have more money in their pockets than ones just causing capital flight to foreign lands

Besides u can't do biz with those illiterates until u either come down to their level, or get an agent to do that.

When they are already exporting or doing business with people in other African countries and Dubai, china, etc, you are here saying one can't do biz with them cos they are illiterates .

So far non of them deserve that seat. I see in them a bunch of immature opportunists. In as much as I support rotation of political seats, I am really scared about an Nsukka man becoming governor of Enugu. I think that Enugu will loose the little gain we have made. I may be wrong though but that's my feeling.

My Nsukka brothers are wonderful people, but one thing that puts me off about them is selfishness. I despise over-selfishness no matter who is involved. It is one of the reservations I had over Chima's government even though he is my brother. When I remember Okwy Nwodo, I become more apprehensive.

However, as a man who believes in the equality of all men and a true democrat, I will still vote an Nsukka man come 2015. I believe in egbe bere ugo Bere. I only wish new states were created, so they can have their own state and govern themselves.

Please, it's not every Nsukka man that is selfish. There are selfless ones but few. I am sorry to generalise but having had more than ten very close friends from Nsukka for so many years, I speak from experience.

please, What exactly will a selfish governor do differently?

Frank Nweke will be the outsider here, Ifeoma has been inside this administration and part controls the party machinery in Enugu. But for the sake of equity, an Nkanu east person is the person supposed to come forward if we are following our rotational/gentleman agreement policy in Enugu politics.

The first senator there was Jim Nwobodo from Nkanu west
The second was Ken Nnamani from Nkanu west
The third was Gil Nnaji from Enugu east

What about my people from Nkanu east? Abandoned, ignored as Ifeoma Nwobodo and Frank Nweke jr. are both from Nkanu west again?

Dia is God ooo

Nkanu is nkanu, nothing like east or west in Enugu zonal politics .
So, till the slot comes to nkanu again, u will have to cool down.

I used hausas as reference cos u rarely see an igbo shoe-maker in Lagos... Even if u go to d market, its hausas u'll see. Igbos are not as many as hausas but most of them sell china made stuffs.
In one breath, igbos are not in the mkt, its hausaa you see.
in another breath, SE is empty. their people and materials are in SW .

fuckluv: Why re-write WAEC 6 times just because of maths? That guy needs to be flogged.

On a lighter note, if you want to explore the "journalism field" for example, you just have to know "something" about "everything". Truly understanding numbers and being able to clearly convey their meaning to readers is a crucial part of being a journalist.

What if you want to report an election proceedings?
You should have a working knowledge of arithmetic, be comfortable with statistics and be able to calculate percentages, ratios and other relationships between numbers. You should also understand what margin of error in polling is, have a basic understanding of probability and be able to work with graphs and charts. And, most importantly, you should be able to use this knowledge to help your readers better understand the issues at hand.

unfortunately, maths doesn't end in arithmetics. try again

I didn't write that they aren't made by aba people see what your tribalEAST mentality is doing to u...

Infact most shoe-makers in lagos are Hausas.

The point is: they are made in SW.

Hausa made shoes are different from the ones that usually flood the mkt, which are Aba made.
Stop telling people that live in Lagos what is obtainable there.
Now, go and stand at Enugu Onitsha expressway and count the number of lorries that carry Aba made shoes and clothes to Lagos each day.

Lol.
If u see a business man at nnewi, you won't know he is rich unless he is going for an occasion.
Otherwise, he is always on Cheap shirt and trouser, Dunlop or cheap slippers and drives a ladies machine everywhere

The issue with APGA was internal crisis if you really want to know. It deviated from protecting Igbo interest to acting as an arm of PDP because of the greed in Umeh. He(Umeh) was the one that negotiated the merger with APC and backed out last minute when Okorocha was already exposed. My take on the issue is that Igbos need to learn and understand politics better. That's one part we need Yoruba guidance. Politics is not buying and selling.

As for geometrics we need to support Nnaji to at least fire the plant and give Aba the best power supply in Nigeria as a model for others to follow. There are 2 other power plants in Aba but they supply national grid. Geometric is strictly for Aba and environs.

which one is Yoruba guidance?
U were making sense about the geometric thing till this.
We are igbos and we are nor all about buying and selling as you posited . thanks

What is it about "Local Government System" don't you understand really?

I've pointed out it is distinct from "productivity".
Essentially, 'local government system' entails such things as the LG independence, as well as the State's noninterference in the LG framework.
Ketoprofen nwoke beanyi, If you insist on dragging me into this debate, let us at least define what the argument is.

Anything that is not productivity doesn't deserve mention.

That is scarcely the point.
Or, did we read different articles?
This is the criterion used to adjudge Enugu as the state that runs the best LG system:

If you undertake another study to determine which state has the most productive LGAs and you discover that Enugu is lagging, I'll equally help you post it here for all to see.

with pix and concrete evidence.

I am with you Bro. But i don't think you should sound so militant while begging the governor to read your post. He has tried beyond all of our expectations for someone with only a paltry $550 million dollars budget for the entire year. We are in a hurry to develop because the others before him had no vision or simply preferred to use the excuses of low budget to do nothing at all.If every previous regime had some vision and did a little, it won't all be so pressing now. The same is even more true for Anambra before Peter Obi who was undoubtedly the only visionary leader that state had ever experienced came on board in 2006.

I also agree he should regularly visit the airport and other key project sites to make sure the quality is strictly adhered. But,what's that talk about taking FG to talk and asking them not to work on the airport anymore and hand it over ? grin grin grin Bros, biko kwa, are you well? Even oil producing states as Akwa Ibom struggle to find funds for a proper terminal building, where will the governor pluck the money from?

The matured leadership of Chime is the way to go. Not ill advised childish tantrums over nothing.COOPERATION with the FG is the way to go. If they aren't doing it properly, we should work with them to correct the identified shortcoming.

You are always making excuses for chime at the slightest thing.
The guy's message is clear, Chime should see to that airport just as Kwankwaso has been over protective of kano airport.

spodathug: With the heavy development going on in enugu and the cry of the indian government for a direct flight to nigeria,I think osita should convince the indians to fly direct to enugu since igbos travel to india more than any other people, most drugs we use are from india and the major importers are onitsha and orlu people who reside in the east,by osita archiving this more foreign investment will come into enugu and the entire igboland. Osita should also work on the enugu direct flight to china so our business men can travel from all asian countries they operate direct to igboland through Enugu cuz the igboman has businesses in almost all asian countries. God will see us through this economic strangling nigeria is doing to us(amen)

I pray that Osita is sharp like Stella, seriously.
Stella used limited time to achieve a lot, international status and operations, and then defined international terminal . No dulling.
This is the only chance SE has to secure everything about aviation!
There is an Igbo minister and a president that has been the least anti SE as far as aviation is concerned.
I hope he doesn't go there and become one Zik or Ironsi like that.
Y am saying this is that constitutionally, criticisms from non Igbo politicians will come but if he were fast, he will achieve much before they pull him down.
Stella's case is an eg.

Politics / Seun, The Politics Section Has Gone To The Dogs! by ketoprofen(m): 7:41am On Sep 20, 2014
Seun, the political section is no longer what it used to be.
Some dimwits took it upon themselves to paste supposed pix of others here.
The worst culprits are those that add the photos of peoples relations: mother, father, brother, etc.

Sorry to sound tribal here, but a group of yorubas started this over the week and some igbos took revenge. Some of the owners of the pix have never engaged in these acts, yet their pix kept flowing.
BabyMama, Evergreen, Ngwakwe, obinoscopy, etc
Why won't Somebody think NL is full of low lifers.
I created a thread on igr and before long, the thread swelled up to many pages, not with economic ideas but strange pix.

Please, I implore you to find a long lasting solution to this as it's a business killer.
Investors might hold it against the forum, imagine sb that wants to advertize in the politics section seeing these, he will think his products are not for lowlifers.
To the transgressors especially those that started this, you suck.

Thanks..
