BlessedFellow: @Chief FFK. I think we all as Nigerians need to 'develop' to a level we vote a candidate because of what he/she can offer and not on the basis of tribe, religion or sentiment. Personally, I am not bothered if the president of Nigeria is fulani, kanuri, izon, urhobo, itsekiri, tiv, yoruba or igbo.

Although most Nigerians are tired of GEJ and PDP led administration, I can assure you that the easiest way for APC to lose the election is to field Gen Buhari as its flag-bearer.

Then they will come here to defend Orji and Oduah for corruption.

They are suffering from low expectations and low self esteem. How can you name a man "Azikwe" just because he is the President. Is their heritage and pride for sale to anyone with power? GEJ knows he is an Ijaw man, he is proud of his culture and people. He speaks HIS language, and doesnt know how to speak Igbo. He is using them for votes. Patience Jonathan obviousy has no problem attacking Igbo leaders and shaming them, but they STILL support her. The sad thing is that not all Igbos are like this, but the vast majority are.

The way SR presented the accusation was very light and had to be diplomatic enough to put Stella Oduah at the hot seat to defend herself.

pazienza: The world can see the sincerity of Igbo man, by insisting all ethnic groups be represented, Ndiigbo is giving small groups like Ogoni, Andoni and their likes, the opportunity to be at the conference on equal level as everyone else, and not get swallowed up by bigger groups like Ijaw or Ikwerre, whom they might be sharing same senatorial or federal constituency with. This move will also favour our brothers in Northern parts of Cross river, where we have different and many small ethnic groups.

Next you have a website where Nigerians can contribute while the consultations go on

Then you subject the resolutions to a referendum

Babacele: GEJ should have left PDP with its wahala ,and should have been the one forming alliances with APC and not many of these folks. Until recently, he never believed in a national conference. Anybody who wants to rule successfully in Nigeria must hold a conference where all the interest groups would fashion out framework of our interactions and dealings. But the man we voted for became PDP the epitome of everything evil in Nigeria. So let him carry the PDP Karma! Very soon all of una go understand say PDP na bad market! For political self made novices on NL , Edo,Rivers, Imo and very soon Anambra are no longer PDP's. In SW , PDP is dead. So also are Sokoto,kano,kwara, Nasarawa, zamfara, and Adamawa. PDP has carelessly lost the house of Rep. And who knows where they are going to get bloody nose again? Instead of praying to God and admonishing GEJ to perform and become the fresh air he so promised us 4yrs ago, some folks are being blindly unreasonable. We 170million Nigerians submitted power and all resources to GEJ to bring positive change to the polity. But what do we get?
