And that second penalty was conned. Atkinson even pointed to the spot without thinking whereas, Zaha initiated that contact. Crystal Palace deserved their draw though.
Yep... Well conned. But it was really cute to hear the commentator say it was an easy call. I think it was Andy Townsend. The man kept yapping about Lacazette hand ball that led to the goal, but was silent about the blatant shirt pulling that led to the corner which resulted in Palace first goal.

His bias stinks. grin

exactly what that useless mustafi should have done but the slowpoke followed zaha to the 18
We need to clear out some unfortunate players in January, we should free lichesner too
Litchstener really is a significant downgrade on Bellerin and is nowhere good enough for even a mid table EPL team. I'm sorry but Kolasinac too isn't good enough and Monreal is almost past it. There is also the issue of lack of natural winger.

The squad needs investing in and I really hope the board backs Emery in the next couple of transfer windows. A good coach needs the right tools to do well.

I will gladly take the point. Palace played very well.
Don't mind them. They played like crap last week against everton. All of a sudden they remembered how to play.

I'll take the draw. Played with two make shift full backs. Emery's game is hugely dependent on full backs bombing forward and putting the ball in to the box by either cut backs or crosses. Neither Xhaka nor Litchstener is good at even going forward.

Hopefully Bellerin and Monreal are fit for the pool game.

Winning streak ends. Pressure is off. On to the next game.

We got away with a handball from Lacazette before Auba tucked it in.
Well it evens out. First half, the corner leading to the goal should not have happened because there's a blatant shirt pulling on Holding which was not called.

he's the only guy that makes me feel like I'm watching the old lovely Arsenal.
Anyone watching Arsenal for the first time will conclude he's the best or even captain.

He's a joy to watch, my wish is Arsenal win big things with him or he goes to a bigger club in future to win bigger trophies in club and country football.
Guendouzi is still very raw though.

Shameless milf

Don't worry, 10 to 20 years from now, (wizkid would must likely be with someone else then) your son is gonna tell you what a disappointment you are. Let's see if the little change from the ticket sales would be worth it.

Selfish people that do whatever they want without regards for the feelings of their families and close ones are the lowest of the lows.

Please what team are they rebuilding...huh Bar Torreira, Guendouzi, Sokratis and Leno... who's not familiar with the arsenal way...You can say any other thing... but rebuilding is not the word you're looking for...
Yeah, the ideal thing was to change the entire team and bring in brand new players in all positions in just one transfer window.

Top logic.

I think it shows we may need reinforcement for that position. Monreal is the starter, however, it does not seem Emery trusts Kolasinac even though I understand he has a minor injury.
Exactly what we are discussing with some guys over here. Kola in all honesty hasn't lived up to expectations and Monreal despite being good is old and hence injury prone.
We need two fullbacks, on either sides. Would have really loved Chilwell but he just extended his contract at Leicester. I trust Mislintat to unearth some gems somewhere though.

He played there in our last game and I was very impressed.

Mean while Jenkinson on the bench. That boy does not want to fry.
Yeah, but that was in the last 20 minutes of the game after Leicester had tired from all the pressing they did in the first half.

Jenkinson is stealing a living. 50k per week for basically hanging out and training with cool guys like Auba and Lacazette. grin. Living the dream cheesy

Watching the PSG napoli game, I have to say no way in hell is Sarri better than Ancelotti. Dude's giving Tuchel some football lessons right now.

Great goal by napoli. Seriously, this napoli team is good. Initially well coached by Sarri, but now have a genuine winner in Ancelotti to take them to the next level.

Dark horse for the champions league for me.

Ancelotti really is a good coach. Was really impressed with how he totally tamed Liverpool in the other game, but I'm even more impressed with how he's nullifying PSG so far.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by KevinDein:
Bellerin is the (not so secret anymore) weapon of destruction in Emery's system. He's absolutely vital and is having a say in almost all our goals (assist, pre-assist). He's more or less a winger these days.

That's why a player like Torreira, a player that can read danger and snuff out counter attacks on that right side, is also crucial.

It is imperative for everyone to note that Emery is not only looking to revive Arsenal, but more importantly, he is motivated to change the narrative about his reputation as a coach because that was massively damaged at PSG.
Yep

Emery is more suited for Arsenal than PSG with all those egos. Really looking forward to seeing "his signings" in the team.

Torreira, Guendouzi and Leno have all looked at home so far.
