My ex and i literally started dating after two seconds of us saying "we should date"... funny, that relationship lasted a few weeks cause we didnt share the same values but till date I feel like im still emotionally affected. This is someone I've been friends with for three years but we havent talked since May last year.

From my own experience, not every man wants to learn.
I don't know if the girl is a feminist or not, but some boys (turned men by age) have wasted all opportunities for them to learn how to cook. They simply don't wanna learn because they believe someone is being raised to serve them. Sometimes, it's sheer laziness.

Mothers taught them, they didn't learn. Sisters taught them, they didn't learn. Life (esp at NYSC) taught them, they didn't learn. And you think the girlfriend has the magic wand?

Actually, research has established that the best time for a lady to have a child, if she wants to climb career wise is eithed before 25 or after 35.

And who cares about me looking like my child's grandma? As long as I'm able to provide the best for them then its not a big deal. I'll have satisfied my education/career pursuits so that when my kids are here i can give them all the love and attention... not taking weekend and evening classes and studying for exams when i should be spending time with them
