Luka dey vex, 28pts 1st Q |
Shittaakeem: seriously Chuck got lines no be small |
DeeMain:It always surprises me when people expect retaliation to be rational. You hurt someone, and said person while experiencing both pain and anger instinctively retaliates, and somehow we think said decision will be rational. When people are emotionally compromised, especially from negative emotions, never expect rational behaviors from them. That is why if you do not want to be on the receiving end of such irrational reaction, you do not mess with people in the first place. |
One thing you can guarantee about the nba is that their trade deadlines is always explosive. |
etidy:Assin, there is a real possibility that at least 4 of the playoff series could be 7 game thrillers. Cause if they are all healthy it will be a slug fest. IMHO, on paper, the Nets have the best team if they everybody is healthy and playing because they just covered up their two biggest weakness in just one trade. |
The Sixers, Nets trade makes a lot of sense for both sides. If all things go well, this will be one of those trades that is not only a fair deal but both teams also got better |
steady986:The only thing I can say for Wall is that if he stays fit, he will not shoot 27% and he will not jack up bad shots on poor shooting nights. |
It's high time the Lakers call Houston, Russ for Wall. A disaster for a disaster , maybe it fits better. |
steady986:Ben Simmons has no choice, he has 4yrs left on his deal, and he has insisted he will play anywhere but Philly. As for the Blazers, if they can get Simmons and some picks or players, they can afford to tank for the rest of this season and then hope they make the right pick at the next draft. PS: The Pacers and Kings trade is kind of weird, I understand what the Pacers are trying to do, but what does the Kings get from this. |
steady986:If I hear, the best deal for the Blazers is with the Sixers. A starting backcourt of Simmons and Anfernee Simon's is not a bad place to start from |
The Cavs are building something that might end up becoming special. |
birdman:At one point, the wife was complaining about the number of concussions he's had. |
A40:Assiin, it was as if she was at his retirement party. |
A40:Gronk can only play for a team where the QB, is willing to do what Brady does for him on every play. |
A40:Agree, the issue for Brady is his age. His family does not need the money, so with his wife and daughter especially, complaining to him about how they feel when he gets hit, he had no choice but to retire. As soon as I saw the clip where madam was rejoicing in the vip booth while oga was losing 27-3 to the Rams, I knew he was calling it quits. PS: Personally I don't blame her, nobody wants to have a spouse who is having cognitive issues in their old age due to concussions that occurred because a 45 year old man was hit by a 270lbs 24 year old who runs a 4.4s 40. |
So the question is, did Stafford all of a sudden become a good QB? He is the poster child of how a dysfunctional organization can make a very good player look like a scrub. Jimmy G on the other hand is the poster child of why wins and losses should not be a QB stat. |
afrodoc2:Absolutely, I will never put Stafford in the Brady, Manning or Rodgers category but if he had gone to a sensible organization IMHO he is the same bracket as Philip Rivers |
Roland17:Stafford was not the one causing turnovers or making bad snaps. He outplayed Brady all through the game, yes Aaron is the best player on the team, but Stafford has always been in the very good category. He had just never had the talent around him to do anything because of being in a dysfunctional organization. Just his first season with a talented roster and he is playing for a chance to get to the Superbowl. |
birdman:You cannot go wrong with either one of them. But the Bills must not relent, they should try via FA or the Draft to improve their defense especially their front 7. They must push all their chips in for the final year of Allen rookie contract and worry about the cap situation later |
What a game Mahomes and Josh, just painted amasterpiece PS: This game is another reason why wins and losses should not be a QB stat. Allen only lost because Mahomes got the ball first. But in 2-3months one idiot will start saying Allen is 3-3 in the playoffs so he chokes. |
A40:Ngannou's growth is really remarkable, his new team has absolutely evolved his fight game. From fighting patiently against Stipe, to using Grappling against Gane. Truly remarkable |
Giannis and co are exploiting GSW only remaining weakness, lack of size on the inside. |
birdman:Thanks, because I was making a list of PGs of the last 40years I would take ahead of Kyrie and brodaly the list is long. |
This Kyrie is the most skilled PG talk is always popping up. Can anyone please explain the criteria for the most skilled PG? I understand handles and the plethora of finishing moves Kyrie can bring to bear, but is that all the criteria for the most skilled PG? |
A game like yesterday's raiders vs chargers is why I will never count wins and losses as a QB stat. Herbert played as well as anybody could but somehow he eats a L, because his team lost through no fault of his. Staley needs to take a chill pill and reevaluate his 4th down calls as well. Shout out to Derek Carr, he played one of the best games I've ever watched him play and his defense made great stops throughout the whole game. |
If you missed this segment, watch it here. Chuck was both on point and hilarious as usual. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMsrrfabD3A |
steady986:MJ had so much protection from the refs in the 90s, it was not just only when others guarded him, he also had calls go his way when he committed blatant fouls. In the 80s though he took the beating like every other player |
Giannis sending a message tonight |
birdman:Has anybody tried sh*t with Jokic since this happened? NO, and as long as Morris sits out, the more the message becomes institutionalized. |
birdman:Oden's case is understandable, just like penny and GHill, injuries derailed some well laid plans. Zion’s case all boils down to weight issues, if he sheds the excess weight and the injuries keep occurring, then he is free from blame. But as long as he continues to weight north of 300 pounds as a 6ft 6ish basketball player, he will continue to get injured. |
The way things are going now, I think the Pelicans should seriously consider trading Zion. The stories that keep coming out about his rehab just points to him not being reliable |
Just spent a glorious 8 minutes rewatching this performance. The dream vs the admiral WCF game 6. It was as dominant a performance as I've ever seen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8KycyU47rs |
