runnazz: just because she shows her intentions doesn't make her cheap in any way ,it depends on ur game and style..one girl may be easy for guy A and difficult for guy B so how would u rate her? Just cos a girl was playing difficult to get doesn't make her good...she might just love the thrill of being chased after and that doesn't mean cos she finally became ur girl no man fit remove am from ur hand easily... am not saying girls should be slutty i just think real ladies don't fake things, its either u are in or u are out.Sometimes i luv chasing the hard to get girl and sometimes it pisses me off...it only makes sense to keep a girl who is worth being kept..a girl is only as good as she is worth. My opinion tho
This is a man who has understanding and has himself together, a smart man. smiley

ihedinobi2: Don't see anything wrong with that. That's not the same as wooing. That's the beginning of light-flashing.
That is wooing in a clever way. smiley

jonsin: no matter how much you try to add sweets and icing on the story, you can't change the way most guys think, instead of walking to him and striking a convo (which is actuality throwing yourself at him), y not give him clues, if he's interested, my sister, he'll come after u, and you'll be happier for it
Most men are not like you say, most men will be flattered, but I guess this is a Nigerian mentality.
Romance › Re: Why Is It Difficult To Woo Guys On Nairaland? by khiaa(f): 3:34pm On Sep 05, 2014
jonsin: put the cards gently, not thru it all in his gave, guys don't like that, y is it so hard to understand
Why are you getting this mental picture of a woman walking up to you and throwing herself at you?

You have a problem with a pretty woman approaching you and introducing herself to you, holding a nice conversation with you then at the end of the convo asking you can the both of you meet for a dinner date? That is the proper way for a lady to do it.

jonsin: what he's trying to tell you is, the lady shouldn't play the guys part, giving him green light is good enough, cos you can't force some one to love u
I know what he's saying, but read my posts to him. I know a woman can't force a man to luv her just like a man can't force a woman to luv him, but it is so much better to put the cards on the table upfront than to waste your precious time on someone who is not into you.

Romance › Re: Why Is It Difficult To Woo Guys On Nairaland? by khiaa(f):
MuhdG: There are some girls that when they like a guy, they only give him the idea and then let him go after their heart.
That's my type

But there are others whom if they like a guy, they just approach him and start going after him. In this scenario (to me), she is the guy and the guy she's after is the lady.

To me, that's not classy and that's not my type of gal.

I like a gal who would play hard to get. Coz when I have her I know how hard I tried to get her and won't take her for granted.

Understand this.

A gal who is cheap to get and already has a bf, chances are (if she's not loyal) other guys would snatch her from her bf easily!
I understand what you are saying BUT just because a woman tells you how she feels about you doesn't mean she is cheap and easy to get, it only means she's honest. Telling you she's attracted to you and actually getting her are two different things. You may miss your soul mate by being so closed minded, this is 2014 not 1814, the world has changed. cheesy

MuhdG: 1. Remove "jump in bed with you" cox am not up for that

2. I only said "come to me first". There's a lot more explanation to that than u can imagine.

3. its not about being silly or immature, its about who I AM.

What u think about it is merely ur thoughts.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Explain #2

MuhdG: is nt that I don't know what I want. I want a gal who is tough to get. Cox to me that's class. Bt since she aPproached me first, I wud completely lose interest in her
You are being silly and imature. Just because a woman finds you attractive (you should be flattered) and approaches you with a little flirtation and conversation doesn't means she wants to jump in the bed with you, and because a woman who continues to play games with your head and stress you out with continuous rejections is not an indication that she is classy and wife material.

Women are stronger than you think we are.

t2luv1: What is wrong with women liking men with money?. I always say when men stop judging a woman by her behind, then women will stop judging a man by the amount of money he has in his pocket. Seem like fair game to me. I know money is not the most important thing in a mans life but I can bet that it is way ahead of whatever thing might be in second place. PS Just me personal opinion.
How would she really know if she likes him if all she sees is the dollar sign $$$, unless that is all that matters to her. There is nothing wrong with being with a man who happens to have money (that's a blessing), but the problem comes in when she's with him only because he has money.

abdulwastecx: Advice to guys, work very hard to get money then women we come because most of them worship money... the amount of money you have is proportional to the amount of women to want to have you because most women worship money
Change that to SOME women worship/love money. The love of money is the root to evil. sad

bigfrancis21: Apparently, you are the one making up things from a simple passage directed at describing Nigerians I have observed in the same America, and not generalization whatsoever of sorts. Never did I mention any other black group in my post. How frequently would you see a Nigerian man dressed in baggy shirts, baggy jeans, fancy sneakers, dreadlocks, with miami cap worn backwards compared to more refined dressing and visual appearance?

I never said all black men in refined dressing are Nigerians. Rather I posited that Nigerian men in US tend to be more refined in dressing. Given the aforementioned and based on my observation here when you see a black man in refined dressing and responsible appearance, there is some good chance that he is Nigerian. Any objective thinking person would agree with me on this.

If by now you still don't get it, you just might never get it. Go back once more and re-read my post, this time reading it slowly and digesting every piece of it holistically as you were taught in 3rd grade.
You are posting more lies, there are Nigerians right here where I live who dresses in baggy and skinny jeans as well, they also wear sneakers and their hat backwards. There are other Africans and black American men who dress refined with corporate jobs. My point to you is that you don't have to exaggerate the truth to be proud of being Nigerian it only makes you look pathetic and insecure. cheesy

bigfrancis21: Where did I ever mention suit in my post? undecided
A suit can be considered refined dressing. Stop beating around the bush, where is your proof to your arrogant statement. I was born and live in America all my life and I know there is no truth in what you said.
Culture › Re: Why Are You Proud To Be Nigerian? by khiaa(f): 4:26am On Sep 03, 2014
bigfrancis21: @bold...it is quite apparent that you are naturally incapable of simple passage comprehension and academic intellectual understanding.
The bold is a lie, unless you know every black man in a suit your statement is false.
