sparta_300: For tha passport photo, make sure to specification (see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs.asp) to be on d safe side, go to a photo studio for editing or if u r good with photoshop u can do it on ur own.
As for other documents, I found this site very helpful https://smallpdf.com/ it reduces n combines pdf files without watermarks. Hope this helps.

sparta_300: Meanwhile, I got my medical instructions today.
Submitted sept 6 via online.
Replied them that I would go for my medical exams on wednesday for the fact I have to book a Dr's appoitment.
Go along with a photocopy of ur passport, 4 recent passport photos, the IMM7101_1 form that comes along with the instruction n a maximum of 30k.
Ps: no heavy drinking or smoking this period oh, e fit cast!
I would strongly advice pple to use the online route. Its simple n faster.

Onye oma: The minimum no. of months is what matters most which is 4-6 months...

One can even submit an SOA that has run for up to 1 year...so he can go on with the one he has...january till august is just 7-8 months which is pretty ok...

broda i didnt apply online but dis question is a general question...with wat online applicant said previously about the size its 4mb max....u said ur friend has compressed it...i tried dis mysef and i would tel u how to go abt it....after scanning the documents you can copy and paste them on microsoft word...make sure your microsoft word has an inbuilt software to convert to pdf format...if ur microsoft word doesnt av, u can type dis keywords on google 'convert a microsoft document to pdf' the software to do dat will come up...install it and it will automatically be embedded into ur microsoft word...i was able to convert a 43mb document of all my many scanned file to 2.65mb which is still within the range of 4mb stipulated by cdhc...hope dis helps

Huzzie: I know guys here that used paper route because of too much docx, if you really want to enroute online, then you have to scan the 30page SOA because the cash flow too is necessary.

Was a letter of intent included in ur application?
Is it possible dat wat u were telling d VO was totally diff from what
U had in ur letter? Did u draft it urself?
From ur travel history uve never faced a VO for a travel visa.
Learning point for U :
Its important u maintain a good body language.
Maintaining eye contact with d Vo while speaking,is important.
being nervous, sweating, holding of hands/playing with ur fingers, a shaky voice
And a lot more shows lack of confidence and desperation.
As for ties- do an evaluation of ur properties, don't just add d land docs.
A good statement of account.
In all, pls do not forget d place of God.
U can reapply.

humanshado: Do you really have to renew now if you are applying online? Why not wait untill you are called for medicals and then submit the old and new passport.

I went to the immigration office for renewal of my 8months to expire passport, to my surprised i was turned back that they are only allowed to renew when its 6months to expire.

I was advised to go and submit it like that or I come with all the documents for the school and write them why they should new now.

Please I need your experience advice on this.

saintmentor: i refer to a section of the CIC checklist which states that your passport should have a minimum validity for the duration of your course. U av to renew ur passport before applying. av seen cases where applicants applied and later withdrew his passport for the purpose of renewing,consequently was denied. good luck...may GOD help u in JESUS name.

Did med test on 7 June
