A legend and a nobody!

Jay-Jay has become so humble these days....if he could belittle himself and stoop as low as to take a picture with Wizkid then change is the only permanent thing.

Because we know how pompous he was back then in Nike Grammar School, Abakpa.

Wizkid will be so grateful for such a rare opportunity.

Everybody wants to sound relevant and use this tithing jargon to trend. What we fail to ask ourselves is why is a God so powerfully potriated in the Bible needs physical cash? As powerful potraited he must be omnipotent and omnipotent don’t need a specific house for worshipping nor does he need money?
I guess it has to do with IQ. And Common Nigerians, the white invaded your land, forced you into submitting to a religion which plagiarized the doctrines of the Egyptian worshippers (note: Egyptology existed 5000BC), made you believed a man far away in Bethlehem died for you (in Africa; really) 2000years ago and forced you into believing a Bible with no known or stable author.
Truly critical thinking is well lacked in this country.
I implore you to read, research, watch documentaries and ask questions.

Well everyone need a placebo to feel serene and religion is the most powerful placebo.
God created man in his own image and likeness right? Which means he is like us, so permit me to give you an earthly illustration. Every human being wants someone who is obedient and truly loves them to be around them. If you were a very rich Monarch and you give all your subjects enough land to plough and gather wealth as much as they can but ask them to give a portion of their proceeds to a selected few Because they don't work and probably run errands for you fulltime, will you not get mad at some unfaithful subjects knowing that you gave them a source of living? That's How God is too, in philemon 1:14 its obvious wealth comes When You voluntarily seek it and obey all the laws guarding it joshua 1:8

Romance / Re: Finding The Right Woman When You Are Broke Is A Romantic Scam by kiddapunk: 7:16pm On Nov 11, 2017
Rapmoney:
Read patiently...

Most of us grew up with the false belief (my opinion) that you will only find the right woman, the one who would love you genuinely when you don't have a dime or when you're not yet sound financially. I held unto this idea for a very long time till I got to a point in life where I could no longer struggle with reality; I had to face it.

I have come to a stage in life where I no longer entertain ideas that are not practical or are not in touch with realities. True-life experiences will sometimes teach you that ideas like the one this post revolves around are nothing but mere abstract craps which people use to give themselves hopes.

Let me tell you today, having money and even excess of it will not stop you from finding a woman who suits you and who loves you dearly. It depends on your class and what you want. I strongly believe that holding onto the idea that you will only find a woman who will love you genuinely, when you have not achieved financial success, is a mentality that is seriously laced with inferiority complex! It is like saying no comfortable or financially successful young man will marry a woman who will love him genuinely. If money will not make a woman love you genuinely, then you can try poverty. I believe it will help! Being broke as ceramics is not a guarantee that genuine love awaits you whenever a girl agrees to date you. People date for different reasons. Among the super rich, rich, comfortable, struggling, broke, poor and poorest, there are honest people, so also there are deceitful people too.

The number of marriages or homes that get broken every now and then in our society due to lack of money far outnumbers the number that get broken due to the existence of money and much money. You might want to think otherwise considering the the rate at which you read or hear about broken marriages in the news. It is so because the people involved are mostly celebrities. Whatever they do is news. It is even news if they go to the restroom! You don't know the high number that get broken everyday among broke people who 'genuinely' loved themselves because they are not popular. It is hardly news when theirs happen.

What's the essence of having a wife that loves you 'genuinely' because she met you struggling, when there's a high possibility that she can cheat on you because you don't have money? Or isn't it the present society we live in again? Why do we always throw away the issue of financial compatibility when the woman is at the receiving end but embrace it strongly when the man is at the receiving end because he's probably broke?

I'm not suggesting that one should not marry when he's not comfortable. A man can marry whenever it suits him; be it in riches or in poverty. What I'm saying is that the idea that you will only find a woman who will love you genuinely when you're not comfortable doesn't hold weight. What if she happens to have achieved more financial success than you? Would she still be a gold-digger who doesn't love you genuinely? A comfortable guy should go for a comfortable girl so that financial appreciation could be a mutual thing. You will only attract leeches and parasites when you go for broke girls who would have looked down on you years back when you were broke even if they, themselves were carrying poverty on their heads as if they were hawking it.

Whether you like it or not, financial success gives you a wider room to make choices when it comes to women. That's the same reason why a broke guy always begs his girlfriend not to leave him...because his choices are highly limited. No woman is perfect. In Nigeria, money gives you the opportunity to get closer to your choice woman. Young Nigerian women nowadays are allergic to long stories of how bright your prospects are; face it!!! I don't hustle to impress ladies. I hustle so that I can give the mother of my kids and my kids the best. Whether she loves me genuinely or not is nothing but a headache for the idealists!

Good morning!
its not really an ascertained fact that one should find love When they are broke, but logic tells you that wealth attracts people and at that point you can't really tell who loves you and who doesn't. Sacrifice is the key factor in love, and it can only truly be found When there’s true love not triggered by financial benefits. That is why the rich who never really had support When they were broke have trust issues. Mothers love is price less Because rich or poor they care about their children and if they become rich its a bonus. Check stats and You’ll see why people prefer their old time loves, the genuine ones.

This issue of tithing has been lurking the internet for too long, its time a Christian comes up with a valid explanation to resolve the issue. Who ever believes tithing is a law of christ is not wrong even though its practice wasnt mentioned in the new testament. Read mathew 23 verse 23 and You’ll observe christ was addressing the pharisees about them paying tithe but are still sinners, but he didn't condemn tithing rather he called it a lesser act since it was not attached to salvation. Abraham paid tithe of all to God Genesis 14:20 and God said to Abraham that he would bless him and his generations, which we all are. Jesus in John 8:39 asked the pharisees to do Abraham's work if they were his children of which tithing was one of his works. Meditate on Gen 8:22 and deutoronomy 8:18 and You’ll understand better that tithing is part of God's convenant with Man regarding prosperity but Christ didn't come for that Because he was sent as a lamb to atone for our sins, then When we are saved we can obey the laws of prosperity and be rich 2nd corinthians 8:9

"What is the significant difference between a Private Jet and a Private Car?[/b] that makes acquisition of a Private Jet 'sinful' while the acquisition of a Private Car is acceptable"

This is the most stupid² assertion I've seen in a very long time. grin
I do not support the belief that churches should not own private jets, but for the sake of your statement, I'll clarify. There's a huge difference between air and land travel, and one notable one is cost. The cost of air travel makes it far different from land travel, secondly mobility, a flight needs more attention to fly whereas any Tom, dick and Harry can just buy a car and start driving, lastly a car can be drives at all times no matter the road but a jet is regulated by bodies because too many circumstances sorrounds its safe movement, weather, clash, mechanism, etc. They are too incomparable things, a private jet was never a necessity meant for everyone.

Is that what church is all about? Buying of private jet?

Pls read about the old churches.

Even Jesus didn't even bother about those mundane things because they're of less important.
jesus rode into Jerusalem on an ass. He also preached to a multitude from a boat, it was basically some of the luxuries of that time.

1 dollar was 0.645 naira in 1977, which makes 200 naira about 310 dollars. A barrel of oil in 1977 was 24 dollars which means his 200 naira could buy him about 10 or more barrels of crude oil
