Hello Seniors,

The food pictures are tempting ooo (salford1#weydonsah)!, intelligent conversation too... I see most convo is around IT, Engineer, Doctors etc.

We (spouse&myself) are project mangers in the Banking industry with PMP & Six Sigma Black belt. i notice whilst researching jobs on most sites, Project Managers jobs is more titled towards construction industry or IT.

What other courses can one do e.g. bridging courses/ short courses to further help us upon landing us ( so we too can quickly buy house like TheCongo2....lol)?

One major thing to do is get your comprehensive medical report from your doctor, submit alongside when you go for medical test. It also helps a favourable decision.

This is however provided the ailment has been treated and the prognosis is positive.

MRSDA:
Hello house, hope everyone is good. Does anyone understand the issue of medical inadmissibility. Someone i know has been denied because of this. Seems Canada is not tolerant to migrant families with children that have learning or special needs.

Wow this really fast. Am almost 2months in and I am still stuck in IP1. My AOR was June 10. My application is in CIO, Sydney and I heard those guys over there are real slow.

What V.O was your application processed at? Also, is there anyone here whose AOR is around June and their application is being processed at CIO? Just wondering why mine is so slow

Yes ooo, it was Mark Holthe ( the Immigration Lawyer running ' Express Entry Law ' page on Facebook.

He also does live Q&A session. It was in response to a POF question. It became effective July 18, 2017.

Dammiehar:

The person wrote to IRCC to ask this question very recently and this was what he got as a reply, I don't know the mailbox he used, just sharing it for the benefit of everyone, at the end of the day, anyone can do whatever s/he wants. I personally advised someone to use her spouse's SOA few days ago, so I knew it was accepted. Ultimately, It's in the hands of God and the VO, all the best to everybody.

Thanks a zill!! I understand &thanks for the reassurance jare!
40manlappy:

That one? Do you know that even people that have gotten the "Ready for Visa" mail i.e. PPR, still have that same status on their profile? That status may not change until passports are stamped and profile updated cheesy

That is why I advised that you should not get unduly worried; no one knows the exact details of CIC's processes except their agents.

Even the NA1, IP1, IP2 terms that we use here frequently are inventions of EE applicants based on their understanding of how CIC works. You understand?

Just be hopeful for positive movements....

5. I have worked in a single organization in different departments, do i obtain separate letters for each department or 1 letter showing each department with the relevant info?

2. We want to use my spouse salary account ONLY as POF, is this ok? OR we transfer the lump sum to my account (principal applicant) and raise an LOE?

Any University of New Brunswick applicant in the house for Fall 2017?

I sent my transcript as requested yet my profile is still saying some documents are still required. Could it be that they are still reviewing my application hence the status hasn't changed?

Either of this two options can help you
1 if your undergraduate course of study is HR
2 if you have good years of work experience in that field.
If not, please don't waste your time and money.

Hello my people again,

I have BSc accounting but never practised and would like to go for PGD in HR. I hear it might reduce my chances.

Please who has been in a similar situation & was granted visa? How did you handle It?

Please help
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by kike100: 3:28pm On Jan 02, 2017
Thank you for the response.

Osemigho:

1- application to your interested program or visa?

2- don't think it is relevant.

3- anybody can sponsor you. But you will need to prove your relationship with that person and why that person want to sponsor you.

4- don't think so since you aren't idle before now and not over 50 years.

5- according to records here, it may be a bit challenging. But people had been successful about it before. Perhaps you need successful applicants with similar profile as yours to mentor you. Read and search for them here.

6- I don't think so, since it is recent. Guess you can always quote seeking admission or something else.

Note: all have said is based on my reading and not personal experience. Never apply for visa, not even SA visa. Be cautioned before accepting them.

Happy New year oooò people of people, kindly help clarify my tots.

Am in my mid thirties, BSc Accounting, worked in training&change mgt, project mgt, customer service&e-business.

Currently am self employed and want to apply for a PGD in HR @university of Winnipeg,Sept 2017

1. Can i start my application process now or it's too early?
2. If its not too early&I commence visa application, will the VO post-date the validity of my visa to Sept 2017?
3. Asides my husband who will be my sponsor, can a family friend also sponsor? Will I need any prove to the VO?
4. Will my age be against me during visa application?
5. Will my choice of study be a problem considering it's not related to my BSc ?
6. Does been recently self employed reduces my chances of been granted a visa?

Thank you for helping moi.

thank you @bellong and @40manlanppy

My concern for the IELTS is when one is calculating the points. If we use accounting, he has just 2 yrs as an accountant & we need at least 5yrs to get points( he is currently a project manager in a bank) whilst if we go with internal auditor, we would not be given a score on the point system for IELTS.

Am confused ooo, pls epp

@tyosho; Hubby (Bsc Accounting, MBA, ICAN, PMP etc) Me: Bsc Accounting & MBA
Travel / Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by kike100: 12:32pm On Nov 08, 2016
@bellong and other gurus, please help

This is our situation

Hubby:
internal auditor (4yrs 8mths)
Project management-2yrs
Accountant -2yrs
IELTS-General (L7,S7,R7.5,W6)
IELTS- Academic (L7, S7.5,R7,W7)

Me:
Customer service -2yrs
Project manager-2yrs
change manager -2yrs
events manager- 2yrs
IELTS- General (L7.5,S7.5,R7.5,W7)

Am thinking of applying as an accountant because of his IELTS score, is this ok or he should retake IELTS and go with internal audit?
Do you suggest, we seek state nomination first (Accountant) to help increase the points score?

Please helppp...
