Hi I need an affordable wedding cake, Please send your number if you are based in london. Thanks |
There are different options for family planning. From the way you sound, I am not sure you have been sexually intimate. If not visit you doctor, giving enough time so you have all your options. The pill seems to be your best choice and its side effect is not a lot compared to other form of birth controls. Whatever you do,please do not ask your wife to take the injection(Depo Provera). The side effects are countless, she gains weight and it delays fertility for a long time. It stays in the system longer than as prescribed by the doctors. Take care and I wish you all the best in your forthcoming marriage. |
Hello doc I am getting married in a few months and i don't want to get pregnant immediately,i want to take about 7months off before that, what pills are available, and will that affect me if I am ready to get pregnant. someone advised me to see my GP. what do u advise thanks |
Is it a sin to marry against parents wish? even if u know their reasons are selfish. |
Growing up as a young girl, say about 12 years of age,I had the idea of how I wanted my wedding to be. At age 18,I already knew my colour combination both for groomsmen and bridesmaids.I wanted a very elaborate ceremony. But few years down the line,I have learnt that a big wedding does not guarantee happiness, now I want a small and quiet wedding and that money can be deposited for a mortgage. PS-why would I spend ££££ on a big wedding only to get plastic bowls and blenders ![]() |

I know someone who had the same problem as you, In his case he just finished his OND,the girl left him because he was not in a university, all her friends had boyfriends in uni. He finished his HND and went on to the university to study for another degree.7 years later the girl is still regretting her decision for leaving him. She hasnt found anyone as nice and caring as him ever since. PS- how do i know this story?the guy is my fiance and I am happy she left him so I can meet him. ![]() |
its been a while but i want your opinion. he gave it a rest for a few months. he called me a few hrs ago and mentioned it again that whatever i do,We should meet before I get married. He said it might change things. |
Like a previous poster rightly stressed,It is not about how much you earn now but what your aspirations are. I would never ask a guy what car he drives, thats just materialistic I would prefer a guy that has goals, ambitions and drive. as opposed to the one that has alot of money now with no future plans. That said,we have to be real,A guy that is not too comfortable now would struggle to start a family now, except he has a supporting partner that is quite stable. If he is not in a hurry to start a family immediately i do not see why money issues come in. PS-Money answereth a few things ![]() |

@ cybersleek marrying early does not mean u want an average life,Some pple are lucky enough to find that special some1 early, there is nothing wrong with marrying early as far as u are matured enough. I know some guys in their 30`s that want to have it all and living it up like you said,in most cases they usually end up worse off. |
In my opinion I will say it depends on the mindset of the individual. I came to london when I was 17,and I sort of had a mindset of a Nigerian. I cant say the same for my younger ones, I think it is easier for me because my mind is tuned that way,I had a friend from the caribbean,he was ok though but I guess I just wasn`t open minded enough. That said a Nigerian guy has same opinions as me. ![]() |
@poster,ur boyfriend sounds quite immature,is he the same age as you? or maybe he is just excited he got a new job. If he talks to you with disrespect everytime, then maybe u have to reconsider? No relationship is worth the stress. If he loves u so much he would respect you. cheers |

in my opinion 4 years in not too long,if the girl was in her late teens and is stil in school.it is acceptable. If she is in her 20s and its through with her education,it might just be cold feet on either part. |

I do not think nigerian men or men in general are afraid of strong independent black women. The problem however comes from the fact that if a man show an interest in a strong independent woman, she is sometimes very snubbish or thinks high of herself too much for the man to come any closer. Dont get me wrong,I believe the man will always be the head of the house but if he is not matured enough to deal with a strong woman then there would be disagreement. PS-I know a couple the man is a security officer and the wife a finance director but they still respect each other regardless of their occupation. |
