Tuksgrad:Also you are right Nigeria is well known for crime, and ahead of other African nations in that department but you should know that this is nothing new to Nigerians, it's old news. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by kilo4sure: 2:48pm On May 05, 2017 |
Tuksgrad:And l wonder why many feel Nigerians really care what others think, what many care about is the Government putting things in place, if that happens many productive individuals who commit crime today would have a viable environment for business. I know many great and successfull, hardworking and honest Nigerians in my country more than l know the criminals and we do not need the validation of the outside world because of what many of our brothers do. Even when things are in place, the lazy ones would still be lazy, and those who want to commit crime would commit crime. Nigerians have many things to ponder on than to care about how the world decides to view a nation of about 200 million people made up of so many different communities, some from different empires in the past and many with very different life styles. |

Tuksgrad:Yes and all these many many many bad news cancel the very very very few good news about Nigeria, even though there's a saying that bad news always spread faster than good news, but l don't believe that bullshit because in Nigeria's case it is different. Infact l am from Turkey and l only hear very very few good things about Nigeria from the media, do l even hear any good thing sef? No, all l hear is their crime and the many many bad things dey do and how they fill our jails. I heard some African people commit crime and people think it's Nigeria, but that again is fake news cos only Nigerians do that. Bro l agree with you. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by kilo4sure: 1:50pm On May 05, 2017 |
Tuksgrad:Ha no o never, why would l cry when they associate Nigeria with only drugs and crime? since that's the only thing Nigerians are known for, they do nothing else. There was a fake news of a Nigerian who became the best medical student in Russia, but l believe that news is fake, becos a Nigerian cannot do that, all they do is drugs, or maybe he wasn't even a Nigerian. l've heard similar reports of Nigerians being the most educated foreigners in some places in the west, that again is fake news cooked up by the Nigerian media just like their GDP is also fake, how can it be true when 80% in fact 90% live in poverty. I agree with you bro, don't mind these emotional Nigerians on Nairaland defending Nigerians blindly, ignorant of the acts of Nigerians world over. South Africa's crime and rapes are influenced by the Nigerians just like they have also corrupted the Ghanians by teaching them crime, can you imagine innocent Ghanians who didn't want to learn crime were forced by the Nigerians. O Nigerians, l weep for Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Tuksgrad:OK l get you, Nigerians are the worst people on earth, all they do is drugs, crime, and killing nothing else. They even have the audacity to put all the blames for their crimes and rape which they commit every week on the Holy South Africans. Infact because of this silly Nigerians, people now know south Africa for rape and crime. Such would never have happened but for these Nigerians. Hmm these bloody Nigerians, gerrahia Nigerians. 1 Like |

Lionessza:Bad people kill people all the time not just in Naija. Africans and middle east nations have killed their brothers shamefully. It is a huge problem which would continually die out in Naija but it doesn't excuse southafricans for killing their African brothers cos of stupid reasons like .... they are taking our women, taking our jobs, etc. |

nkwuocha1:I wonder where these figures are coming from sometimes, 80% in abject poverty? And yet we have the highest online presence in Africa , whether it be Facebook, twitter, bellanaija etc. Everyone l know no matter how they complain of poverty still have good phones, and do not stay in slums, in warri many dream big and do big things but they'll still tell u dey are poor. 80% below the poverty line? If you say 60% majorly becos of the North and some places in the south south then maybe but not 80%, you sef think am na my guy, dat lie sweet you for ear? |

mtis:Of course, What else would make a Nigerian go to kenya? Even in the villages many only know about Ghana and south Africa, when it comes to Africa.Ghana as our English speaking younger brothers playing good soccer too. And then south Africa for how the whites developed it, nothing else. Villagers want to go to either Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja or the likes of london and Newyork of course |

vaxx:She is right becos l know first hand many Nigerians in diaspora who share same sentiment. Please don't hype yourselves we only applaud these small countries in Africa for constant power supply, many Nigerians would not want to settle in Nairob or Accra except for power supply and the standard of a few universities in Ghana better than many in Naija. Nigerians generally only consider the west as mega, and not Kenya and Ghana. Last time l checked only south Africa comes close to Naija in terms of collective wealth and powerful private sectors. Naija nor be Una mate o, though if you call it a useless country, l go understand sha. |

mtis:We go to Kenya and Ghana to expand our territory becos of the competition in Naija, people l know from warri consider Lagos and Abuja as mega cities to make it big in business and entertainment but becos of the competition would rather go to Ghana so they can dominate. People go to school in Ghana becos of how difficult jamb and post jamb is, and how difficult it is to go to unilag or uniben due to population and competition from post jamb. Another reason is lack of constant power, and our leaders do little about this, perhaps to continually allow the generator business thrive. Tell me why do Nigerians go to chad and seirrealeone? |

Populous nations have their people everywhere, running away from their country, this is nothing new. There are Nigerians in chad and Togo as well, and so many igbos doing business in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. We also employ many Indians in southern Nigeria, so l wonder why countries like Kenya and even Ghana keep boasting here of Nigerians migrating to their country, soon even malavwi would boast too. Na wa o, Naija don suffer no be small. This one na real gobe, l hope our leaders are reading these things, we even get leaders sef? |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by kilo4sure: 7:57am On May 05, 2017 |
Jayceon:You don't get it at all, the guy at least knows he is in a white country, but it is better than migrating to a black country run by whites. I hate to be racist, but the truth is that a white man or even Indians who preach one humanity would never allow the blacks take over their economy. If the black south africans step up their game to be at the level of their white compatriots then nothing would be better for mother Africa. |
Religion / Re: If 'Jesus' Woke Up On The 3rd Day, How Was It A Sacrifice? by kilo4sure: 7:42pm On Apr 17, 2017 |
Rosskii:So his becoming a human wasn't lowly? And also been subjected to that gruesome torture and death on the cross is no sacrifice?when he could have simply chosen not to? That he could get his life back doesn't undermine the sacrifice. It is sacrifice because he had the power to reject such path, but chose not to. This is why he cried about the cup passing by the night before. The fact that he saw the glory ahead didn't undermine his pain at that moment. 1 Like |

Rosskii:So we do not digress much, l'll just address the main issue. Jesus sacrificed, because a person of his power being in the form of God became human, (taking the form of a slave)in doing so he emptied himself, so that like every other human he was susceptible to death and actually faced death(permanent death, 3 days death or even 1 minute death is irrelevant here). |

joyandfaith:And who said Jesus is the same person as almighty God? Christians say Jesus is God, not that Jesus is THESAME PERSON as God. I know this is confusing, but this is just to clarify so we know what we are arguing. |
Religion / Re: Is The Crucifixion Not Synonymous To Human Sacrifice? by kilo4sure: 9:33am On Apr 17, 2017 |
Mememan:This your theory is a narrow way of looking at the details of this event, note that the death of Jesus is best explained in Isaiah 53, which the new testament tale also largely depends on. Isaiah 53 says WE CONSIDERED him smitten of God but he was bruised for our iniquities. In other words we( the jews) thought his death was punishment from God on him because we had always known inwardly he was a false prophet who deceives people and so (according to leveticus)cursed is any man who hangs on a tree, hence this Jesus must have been cursed by God to even die this way, confirming our suspicion. But the narrative in Isaiah 53 continues saying He was bruised for our iniquities ( he is in this situation now because we sinned and allowed ourselves to be subjected to slavery by the enemy/Romans due to our collective sin as a people thereby giving the opressors/Romans the power to even punish the guitless like him. Then it says... It has pleased the lord to bruise him( God would not intervene to save him) because... When you have made his soul an offering for sin(after he dies this unjust death just like the innocent lambs we the Jews kill even for our own sins) He shall see his seed( his children or new followers) He shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the lord shall prosper in his hands. |

obinna58:Cast your bread upon the waters for after many days you shall get it again. So tell me how does your getting it again undermine the initial sacrifice? Or is there a different definition of sacrifice? Also since the bible says that Jesus took on humanity even though he was powerful, and died the death of humans( even for just one day) despite his power and the ability to just kill them all and avoid death, isn't that a sacrifice? |
Religion / Re: If 'Jesus' Woke Up On The 3rd Day, How Was It A Sacrifice? by kilo4sure: 8:51am On Apr 17, 2017 |
Rosskii:Why you go dey reason like this na, so if you die and wake up in the next 1 trillion years, how different would it be from one who died and woke up the next 1 hour. The problem is that you analyze death the way you analyze ordinary sleep. Think about it, there have been roughly 13.7 billion years of the universe' existence, before u were born and before u began to develop self consciousness, would it matter if only 3 days have passed before all these? Please enlighten me here. |

obinna58:That one worth his name and power should even become human at all and then face death is a sacrifice, or what else would u call it? Ayam not understanding this your special style of reasoning. |
Religion / Re: If 'Jesus' Woke Up On The 3rd Day, How Was It A Sacrifice? by kilo4sure: 9:09pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
It doesn't matter even if he gave his life for only one day. Whether u die and rise again after a billion years or for just a second, death is death. Would u be able to measure how long u have been dead or does death have a time frame?maybe u know, cos l wonder how u fathom that 3 days death is no sacrifice. The bible says we shall rise again, when we arise it may be as though we just closed our eyes for seconds, who knows? |
Religion / Re: Is The Crucifixion Not Synonymous To Human Sacrifice? by kilo4sure: 5:00pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
Mememan:If you don't believe the bible's tale of crucifixion then what exactly are you arguing. Your argument is not clear, maybe you don't understand the crucifixion story, so you term it human sacrifice. How can you believe what you don't even comprehend at all? |
Religion / Re: Is The Crucifixion Not Synonymous To Human Sacrifice? by kilo4sure: 3:30pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
Activa:Actually the Romans killed Jesus but God's people the Jews considered him smitten of God (isaiah 53)because they believed he was false. All God did was to turn the ugly situation into a victorious one, vindicating him by raising him from the dead and making his sacrifice worthwhile, his death then paves the way to the new covenant |

Mememan:Meaningless rant, you still haven't answered the question, what is the so called bloody human sacrifice in a leader giving up himself for his people? How can giving oneself as a ransom for many become a purposeful human sacrifice when it is clear he died on the charge that he claimed to be a king and was killed by God's enemies? So who sacrificed who and to whom? 2 Likes |
