You can buy yams from Niger state (Garatu Market precisely), and sell to potential buyers in south west, Kaduna, abuja....
You can also buy oil from east and sell in the west, and also buy crayfish and ogbono from cross river.... It might look somehow to those that are not ready to make it...but the profit is handsome..
You can go into selling okrika clothes and shoes, a bale of clothes grade one goes for 50 to 60k, depending on how good they are..
You can get a keke napep and hit the road bro... It pays.
Or if you can barb, open a shop, divide d shop, use a part and be selling cassettes and also get a speaker, which you can also be renting out...
Don't go into a business you have no passion for...

I will to know more about this okirikr business and crayfish business

My brother am sorry about the delay but taking a wholistic view on the reasons, its not just about the intended course. Its obvious that your SOP failed to address some of their concerns. Every applicant is unique in their circumstances. Thank God your not giving up cus I can see your already making head way to another direction. God will grant you speed m favour.

These guys at the Pretoria Embassy are really using our heads on this country. So after investing millions in their educational system and allowing the money linger there for months, they give refusals based on intuition. Like seriously? These schools send representatives over here and they hold workshops begging us to come and study there and after spending so much money and waiting for months, Someone at the embassy that doesn't like your face simply says he thinks you wouldn't be coming back after studying so he decides to give you a refusal and spoil your passport.

I feel there would have been a better way to handle this by the embassy. Maybe if they refuse you right from the school application, it will save you all the stress and money as regards writing IELTS, paying school fees and charges, paying for medicals and ultimately paying for visa application. There's no way you can recover this monies back but the most painful part is the time wasted. If they know they wouldn't accept Nigerians anymore, I think they should state it clearly from the get-go and not allowing us waste time and money..

There's no Australian consulate in this country to start with and those in government can't even compel them to come here and open one. We spend our hard earned money and still beg for visa. I can understand that some Nigerians go there and abandon the schooling but I'm quite sure we are not the only country doing that so we that are trying to get in shouldn't be suffering for the sins of a few. I just hope someone from the embassy can read this and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Nigerian working with them over there undermining our efforts because we Nigerians don't like each other

They have an office in Abuja but not for visa purposes.

Amen!! Just checked mine now...
L - 8
R - 8.5
W - 7
S - 7

I seriously doubt the Writing and Speaking... But no point wasting effort challenging them as I have my desired points... Patiently awaiting ECA conclusion to dive in... Thank God I got the desired score at first try (Can't imagine what going through it more than once feels like).

Best Wishes to awaiting results and tomorrow's exam takers...

Starting with the last question:

1. Travel history doesn't give an edge in this journey, rather it gives u more work as you'll need to provide Police Clearance Certificate for every country you've (both u & hubby) stayed for a cumulative 6 months within last 10yrs or since 18th birthday, whichever is latest.

2. IELTS is mandatory for principal applicant. For spouse, it's optional (but advisable as it can add up to 20 points).

3. You both go ahead with WES but pls evaluate both your BSc and OND as it gives more points.

In order words, evaluating Bsc and Msc gives more point than evaluating only MSC right?

hmmmm but ave heard info of people the dogged type working 2 pay their tuition fee balance or is dat a false info?? must u ave ur 2 years complete tuition fee b4 coming 2 d country?

Nope its not a must you need to pay your first semester fee to get your COE for visa application. As for working to pay fees, what worked for one may not work for another. I dnt know about that as this a public platform. The embassy expect you to have sufficient funds for your studies. Why dnt he save himself that stress and apply for PR as the end aim of studying in OZ is still to get PR. Its saves him time and money.

Jasmune1147, has done justice your question. You need to ask your brother. No one can give you the right answers without knowing the information he gave to the school.

the school mailed him to get one before they can process the admission.

What's the name if the school? That type of visa is not for students. Besides what qualifies you for visa is a proof of that a school has admitted you (COE)

good day everyone..... please how can a humanitarian visa be gotten, my brother was asked to get one for the processing of his admission... what's the best way to go about this....thanks in anticipation of your help..

Who told your brother to get that for admission? You dnt need that for admission neither do you need it to study in Australia. What you need to study is a student visa which you will apply to the embassy after you have been admitted and gotten your Certificate of Enrolment from the school.
