When you registered for IELTS you got access to 40 hours of online practice materials. I would suggest you practice as much as 90% on all the sections. Try and compare your score with the global average to see where your level is at. Then adjust based on that. At the risk of sounding boastful, I actually had 8.5, 9, 8.5, 8.5 in LRSW and practiced for about 2 weeks only. By practice, I meant intense day and night practice like I last did during my university days a decade ago. So believe me when I say it's doable.

I believe you bro, thanks

Well for me, i think having a letter from a company with functional website goes a long way in establishing the authenticity of the company. If they have a need to verify your employment, they can easily get contact details from there. It happened in my own case.
Nonetheless, you can include all you have during the assessment. If they have further queries, you will surely be contacted.

Thanks a lot

If you have two years experience, inclusive of your internship, you are good to go. Visit aims.org.au to find out the requirements for assessment. If there is anything you don't understand, don't hesitate to ask.

@ Oknee, bellong, and others, please, can a reference letter from a company with no functional website but its registered fly for ACWA assessment? Please others that have assessed with other assessment body should comment also

Secondly, please what if the company is not registered? Will it still fly?

The post you quoted is misleading. Skipped to mention points MSc (or any other educational degree) will add depends on your marital status. Use the link below to check your score.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
Modified: If you have MSc, please evaluate your MSc. It will do lots more good than you going with just your Bsc

I have done that, with my MSC is giving 453 as someone already confirmed same for me previously

40 more than BSc, but just 9 more than two or more certificates.

With my bsc and age plus 6 years experience my CRS is at 413, so if I add my msc(plus 40), am likely to get to 453 right from your above explaination right? No vex say I dey as too many questions

Hard truth here. Though 425 looks more a comfortable zone, if the IELTS is retaken, how well can one guaranty that one or the two components already maxed out will not drop to acceptable base? Part or all the 6 points aimed for becomes lost.

Other factors where points can be gained is somewhat a stretch - additional degree; OND, HND, MSc. If already enrolled in a Masters programme, how soon will you be completing? Sure you would not forget to claim points from sibling if you have a PR sibling.
cc: Jades27

Please, how many points can MSC give?

You can update your profile after the completion of your Master's degree program. You will assess (ECA) your master's degree certificate. You don't need to have post-study (Msc) work experience.

Its very clear now, thanks alot but can I assess the statement of result? It must be the certificate?

Ok u said without ur experience! Like u didn't have experience... Or is it that u don't wanna claim points for experience?

Let me make you understand. Presently I am having CRS 413 including age, degree, 7years experience and ielts. I intend to include my MSC to raise it to like 453 but my MSC will be concluded by next year. I dnt have post experience via the MSC. Hope you understand now? Asking if I can include it without having post experience on it

no o. U need minimum of 1 year experience. How about ur nysc... It counts as one year experience

I believe the one year experience is post not pre? Presently I have CRS of 413 from my calculation.

Bsc- Public administration
Experience- 7 years plus NySC

It depends on the timing. In May this year, 413 got ITA. Since June till now, lowest cut off has been 433. Cut off mark goes up and down.

Thanks bros, it is possible it might get lower to 413 early next year?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Kingbukaz: 3:39pm On Oct 15, 2017
CAstruggle:

Yes you can, but it would require alot of patience as its not common for CRS to fall to 413. But anything is possible. The chat below will tell you more.

Personally, i would suggest you try improving your score; if you are married, ask your spouse to take IELTs which can get you up to 20 additional points. your spouse can also do an ECA to get additional 9points.

If you are not married, try to gain more work experience if its currently less than 3years or follow PNP route.

Extra Note: the tail of the chat is forming a straight line. CRS should have fallen below 430 by now but it seems CIC is trying to keep it stable above 430 using the number ITA issued. It is "possible" to remain so till the end of the year.

With God nothing is impossible

Thanks bro, how do one fellow PNP? Can I send you an email?

An average Canadian has 4 career changes in their life time. What I love about this country is that you can be anything you want to be as long as you are ready to work for it. Yes you can get a management trainee job. I think enterprise and u-haul have those positions.

Thanks bro, please can CRS of 413 be able to get ITA for someone? Am sorry asking here as I know its not the right place.

Anybody in Winnipeg here?

I was a business minded civil servant in Nigeria and had a liking for management (Studied Public Administration)
I have always wanted to become a business development manager and would love to go the way of management here.

Though my cousins here are not enthusiastic about it, I feel there are prospects for me as I see a lot of management positions on offer. I intend to take a job as a management trainee while I look for management courses to take, while building my management and Canadian job experience at the same time.

What do you guys please think about a management career in Canada generally?

Two good heads, as they say is better than one.

Bros, I am in the same shoes you were sometime back in term of being a civil servant and I read public administration too. Please can I send you an email. This is mine ,oemmanuelebuka@gmail.com.

Am so sorry for late response.. The advantage of the mock test is to avoid to wasting 52k trying to pass the pte exam. So if you get this, you will be able to practice and write the test like you are writing the real pte exam and there are two exams in this package. After writing, you will get your score within 24hrs. It is marked by Pearson. They use Pearson Marking Scheme..

Congratulations greeneophyte.

Please how can one get this Pearson practice mock material?

Thanks for the feedback. The person in question finished with a 3rd class in Accounting from the University of Ilorin. Most 4 year degrees from Unilorin are assessed as Associate degree ( like mine with ACS) and coupled with the 3rd class might be reason for matching it as Diploma.

I am not sure the school's syllabus was submitted but based on experience, he will only get Associate degree ( not sure if same as Diploma.. lol) due to Unilorin being a Tier 2 according to AQF standard.

Please bro, even as your naija bsc was assessed as Associate degree, did you get a positive assessment?
