Echo3:Till then. $39 no go mek me run away ![]() |
akseph1:That na one risky thing to do oo |
Elxandre:How? |
Guys, something weird happened to me. Earlier in October, I funded my domiciliary account with $50 to make some purchases on AliExpress. I bought about 4 items totalling $39 which I've all taken delivery of. I emptied the account by converting the remaining dollars to naira using my banking app. Just 3 days ago, I was surprised to check my domiciliary app to see the $39 refunded. I requested for my bank statement and there was no trace of any purchase on AE. It just showed as if the money was not debited at all. I tried converting $10 to naira and to my surprise the transaction went smoothly. Account wey na $0.03 before oo. I tried converting the rest and it went thru but when I tried transferring out from the naira current account it showed "Transaction unsuccessful. Security violation". Yesterday I mustered courage and walked into the bank to complain and they checked my account, both the current and the domiciliary which was the source of the funds, and they said there was nothing wrong. The lady chatted with someone who I think was from their HQ and after series of checks for like 10mins, they concluded my account must have been flagged because of an email change I did 3 months back when making the $50 deposit into the domiciliary account (the current and the dorm are all linked with same ID). They asked if I didn't use the account since then and I said no. She told me she'd pull the reference for the email change and send to HQ so I fit waka. I was told to go and try making transfer after an hour. Ladies and Gentlemen, after an hour, I tried and I was able to transfer all the money out successfully. So basically I made a purchase of $39 from AE for free. |
onlinediva:I don't care if you were not smart that you had to choose a 206 of all cars to import and had to clear it for N1.5m. I am offering you the street value of the car and that is N1.2m. Deal? |
N1.2m |
Sorry bro. People are indeed heartless. |

kopell:How do you handle days of absolutely no sunlight like in rainy season? Can there be a hybrid arrangement were electricity powers the heater if solar power is not available? |
twinskenny:Pls, what's the downside of solar borehole pumps when compared to the normal electric pumps? Why do people take the stress of putting electric pumps when they know they'll have to spend money operating it? Or are the solar pumps not as durable? |
lagusboyyy:FREELANDER also says the poster is a joker. |

swagifted:I've collected it. Was shocked to be given a receipt for the N400 I paid. Before I paid, I actually asked them what it is for and they told me it is officially the handling charge for all e-commerce shipments. That they calculate according to weight. Collection was smooth and fast. |
Nipost just called me to come along with N400 to pick up my delivery. Is that how they roll nationwide? |

EgunMogaji2:Oh ok I get it. |
Babalegba:Really? I ordered 7 items on the 28th of October and the 6 which were shipped via Speedaf have all been delivered to me, some last week and some even the week before last. But the one shipped thru Nipost has been showing "Arrived at Destination Airport (Nigeria)" since on 14th Nov, and then moved to "Arrived at Facility" on the 16th Nov. Since then there has been no movement nor communication from Nipost, and I'm told here not to expect to hear from them till in about 7-14days. |
EgunMogaji2:How does it work sir? You stuff the wet clothes inside? |
jboixxx:Grateful as always. Nagode |
jboixxx:Sorry for always bugging you boss. What's the status of mine that has arrived naija and showing "arrive at Facility" after days of showing "arrive destination country airport"?
|
iscom:Thanks |
Good morning guys. Does "Arrive at Facility" means my package is already in my local post office? If yes, do I wait for a call from Nipost before I go for collection or I should just proceed? Kindly assist as this is the first time I'm receiving shipment via Nipost. Thanks
|
Good morning guys. I guess this shipment UV718272989UZ is coming in through Nipost. I've received all the items I ordered alongside this one, that came in through Speedaf, but this one is stucked here without moving to customs. Is it that I will not get further updates untill I receive a call from Nipost in my state? This is my very first order that is coming via Nipost. Thanks.

Wizdom0091:So after all the recommendations you got you went ahead to pour 20w50 in your new car? And to cap it all, the brand you chose was Ammasco (made in Kano) of all brands? Some people deserve all the wahala that comes their way |
adubam:Same here
|
Your car is beautiful the way it is. Keep enjoying that way before efcc knocks. |
opetobi:That's poor. City or highway? |
swagifted:What kinda items? I've never had a situation where I paid anything to Customs. |
