lagrangea: I still fail to see the bad thing the guy did by posting an old picture with an old friend... And he didn't even make any snide comments. All those people reading innuendos here... I marvel at your apparent 'sanity'. Hehehehe.. Honestly I am with you on this. See how Nigerians are making very petty insinuations from the post. I wonder when it became a crime to post a picture with an old friend just because you are not in good terms with the husband. Not like we even know if they have probably settled whatever iss is between them, which really isn't any business of mine.
Funny thing is that the blogger said Freeze threw shade at the lady by saying and i quote "The Cool FM presenter also complimented Elsie's changed color aka bleached skin by reminding himself of when "I had lots of hair before I started balding!"" How on earth does that statement throw shade at her skin tone?
Person wey get wife nor even complain, na we wey e nor consine dey carry matter for head like gala sellers.

naijadeyhia: Who cares what the internet thinks....If she had died in the course of attempting an abortion would you be here saying all this? Are you sure you are alright?
I am from the old school and we know how to label a kpankere with the name of that bad child and reset her character with it. We know how to kneel them down and have them raise their hands outside. We know how to get them to pick pen until they are able to apologize for the wrong they did. Its called discipline and not murder.
I honestly do not think you are thinking straight. I seriously doubt you are alright too..
You have made your point and so have I. I don't condone the immoral act and I also don't condone public humiliation either.

naijadeyhia: Do you have kids? I doubt you do. I do so i speak knowingly.
1. If they are his adopted kids for years with no report about how he maltreats them and even they during this interview never spoke about being maltreated so whats your point?
If and when you do have kids and they do something similar feel free to call them into the house and talk to them quietly.... These people live with this man so he understands their attitude better than you.... If 2 underaged kids could comfortably have sex and attempt aborting in a Pastors house then this means they are terrible people with the very likelihood of the pastor condoning so much from them and this was the last straw.
Both kids are morally messed up and here you sit talking about what the Pastor did as if he did it for no reason.
If they did not do what they did which is horrible by all standards would he have openly flogged them? Yes or no
FYI if in my time people had free access to video cameras i am sure that one of my neighbours would have recorded one of the numerous public corrections my parents gave me. Just listen to yourself? Who made mention of maltreatment?
Heheheheheheheh... Look at the shaky defense you are putting up @Bold. He knows them better to know that the only way they would change is if he humiliates them in public right? Spare me the joke please. You even went on to add that they must be terrible people which is based on mere conjecture. Even well-behaved kids sometimes go outside the norm and do despicable things, still doesn't make them terrible.
They are morally messed up indeed.. Madam Psychologist!
When your own kids misbehave, call a town hall meeting and invite Clarence Peters to shoot the video while you unleash the fury of your whip on them. Remember the Internet never forgets.

naijadeyhia: would you like to sleep with your adopted brother at age 14 in your fathers house? Which is more terrible and more damning? The incestuous act would live with you for a lot longer than public flogging would afterall she is only 14 but now a singular error of incest has gotten her pregnant by her adopted brother.
You need to use your head and think. The problem here is not the public flogging or the video tapping of it. I am seriously trying to wrap my hands around this logic of yours. You see absolutely nothing wrong with public flogging and videoing, yet even if you were humiliated as a child in public which doesn't make it right, your parents never recorded the video of such.
Everyone makes mistakes and no one is condoning the immoral acts between these teenagers, but when you justify every wrong doing with public humiliation and a video recording that would haunt them for the rest of their lives it makes me question your humanity. If he had flogged them at home would the world have come to an end?
Truth is he wasn't really concerned about teaching them a lesson rather he was filled with anger and resentment that they had done this underneath his roof while he cared for them and made his parenting skills questionable. This my dear isn't the rebuke of a loving father rather a Pastor trying to save face and look good to his congregation as a man of discipline.

Disclaimer : This thread doesn’t promote reckless drinking, if you must drive do not drink and if you must drink do not drive. Even if you do not care about your life you could be endangering the lives of others.
Drink Responsibly!
1. The Emotional : Alcohol is indeed not for everyone and these folks are topping that list. The evening is going well and everyone is busy sipping their drinks, while having a great chat or watching that exciting EPL game and then suddenly the alcohol takes over these folks and they become crybabies.
They say alcohol makes you forget all your problems, apparently it makes these folks remember how terrible life has been to them, all the heart breaks, unpaid rents, medical issues and whatnots. You would end up consoling these folks the entire night. https://images.mentalfloss.com/sites/default/files/styles/article_640x430/public/148258094.jpg
2. The Alter-ego : If it’s your first time with this folk, you are in for a good surprise. Freddy takes a couple of beers and pooof!! He is gone and all you are left with is Jason his alter-ego.
Yeah these folks would make you almost doubt their sanity as they would reveal their other half which is usually a complete opposite of their true nature. They would say things that are rather difficult to comprehend or often times meaningless and the mysterious part is that when they sleep and wake up the next day, they have no memories whatsoever of the entire event. https://i.imgur.com/LDCRGA5.jpg
3. The Talkative : The Orators!... These ones should be giving a life ban from alcohol. They are mostly extroverts and sometimes even introverts but after a few bottles they become Eminem, dropping 100words in 16 seconds.
These folks can’t keep no secret, as a matter of fact if you confide in them, it only takes a few bottles for them to spill all you told them in private to a bunch of strangers or worse still that very person you have been keeping the secret from.
They are amazing storytellers with a long list of never-ending stories to tell. The only time they get to be quiet is when they finally doze off once they hit the sheets. https://whatstrending.dreamhosters.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/3purjo1.jpeg
4. The Apologetic : These ones are usually conscious of their alcohol consumption as they always want to be in full control of their mind and body, however occasionally they go overboard a little and end up apologizing for every single thing they do during that period blaming it on the alcohol.
They are so polite even when they are barely drunk and you would hear them say things like “I am so sorry; I am yelling right? Gosh I have had too much to drink” . If you find yourself dating folks like this, they are for keeps! They usually have boundaries and standards and wouldn’t intentionally go outside them. https://i.imgur.com/2Fneuu5.jpg
5. The Overconfident : They are quite similar to the apologetic as they also want to be in full control of their mind and body, however after a couple of bottles and they are litt up! Eyes red and sight blurry which makes it difficult to read facial expressions hence boosting their self confidence.
These folks can walk up to the President’s wife and woo her if given the chance. They suddenly become hyperactive and fearless. If only the FG can bundle a bunch of these folks, get them high and give them riffles, Boko Haram would be history. https://www.funniestmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Funniest_Memes_self-confidence-level-1000_18406.jpeg
6. The Vagabond : If you happen to be around folks like this for the first time, then you are in deep soup...lol. After a few drinks, they take off to the loo and never return.
Apparently once they get up, they find themselves in the “Matrix” and are busy fighting “Agent Smith” or in some fictional world like “Alice in wonderland”. These folks never learn their lesson despite waking up in strange places.
If you find yourself dating a guy like this, it’s only a matter of time before you start having high blood pressure. If as a guy you find yourself dating a lady like this, be rest assured her panties would always be missing...lol https://orig08.deviantart.net/c333/f/2015/084/1/7/bilbo_by_dannylynn_adams-d8n3r4i.jpg
7. The Sleeper : These ones gat no time for drama! Lol... Once they get high it’s only a matter of time before you hear them snoring like pigs. The good thing is that you don’t get to gather a search party to start looking for them like you would for “the vagabonds”.
Folks like this usually go drinking with friends so you are sure they wouldn’t spend the night sleeping wherever they get high.
8. The Dancer : These folks are absolutely remarkable. Alcohol literally brings out the star in them. Just after a few bottles of their favorite beer or spirit and the DJ drops Pana-Tekno, Bam!!! they are on their feet’s jamming to the beat like nobody else.
They would invent dance moves that are yet to be seen and can dance from Naija to the North pole and back. Dating folks like this can be fun! Sometimes they give you the best night of your life with great dancing and laughter. https://www.sowetanlive.co.za/incoming/2016/07/14/babeswodumo1.jpg/RESIZED/bigResize/BabesWodumo1.jpg
9. The Newbie : AKA Follow Follow, OverSabi, etc…..These folks don’t usually drink but their ego and pride wouldn’t let them say No in public. They are quick to open the bottle of Cîroc and mix it with some Hennessy and any other brand available.
They are totally oblivious of the alcohol percentage and gulp down their entire cup within a few seconds like it’s a cup of coconut water or smoothie . Within a couple of minutes, they would lose total control of their bodies and start acting like they've got Parkinson’s disease.
Folks who fall in this category are more concerned with how others see them and would rather live their lives based on the standards of others.
10. The Brewery : The professional drinkers! The functional alcoholics! These folks can empty an entire GP tank filled with Booze and wouldn’t flinch.
They are the proverbial “Oliver twist”, always wanting more booze. They say the body is made up of 70% water but in their case its 70% of Kparaga, kai-kai, Sun gbalaja, Burukutu and the likes.
Their body is so in tune with alcohol that they can get depressed and go “cold turkey” if they are deprived of it for days! If you happen to date a Guy who is a brewery, chances are he would invest more in the bottle than you or your future kids combined.
If as a guy you find a lady who happens to be a brewery, there are two things involved its either she wrecks you or you end up running a beer palour & peppersoup joint with her.
So which category do you fall in? And tag that Nairalander who is on this list. Don't forget to add yours to the list also

Crime › 6 Most Incredible Con Artists Of All Time by kinglekan(op): 12:54pm On Aug 12, 2016 |
Did you know that the noun CON means Confidence? I bet you did
Well did you also know that Samuel Thompson (1821–1856) was the original "Confidence Man” arrested in July 1849 although he was an unsuccessful grifter.
Let's give the devils their due. Yeah, they've screwed over thousands of innocent people. But some of them had balls the size of HOT BALLOON AIR BALLS and for that, we must salute them. – Kristi Harrison
1. Charles Ponzi - The Ponzi Scheme
Charles Ponzi was an Italian business man/con artist. He was so good they named a scheme after him. He promised investors 50% profit within 45 days and over a 100% profit within 90 days. He would then pay previous investors with money given to him by future investors. This type of scheme is now known as a Ponzi scheme and has been widely used in business and it’s well known as the “Get Rich Quick Scam”. Due to the nature of this scam, it was short lived. It ran for about a year before eventually collapsing.
https://img.timeinc.net/time/photoessays/2012/top10_ponzi_schemes/charles_ponzi.jpg
2. Gregor MacGregor - The Prince of Poyais
A Scottish con man famous for creating a fictional country called Poyais, he convinced colonizers to buy lands on his non-existent island with relative ease. Hundreds invested their savings in supposed Poyaisian government bonds and land certificates, while about 250 emigrated to MacGregor's invented country in 1822–23 to find only an untouched jungle; over half of them died.
The water of Poyais, he said, was so pure it could quench any thirst – and as if that weren’t enough, chunks of gold lined the riverbeds. The French officials caught on to his scam but even after being convicted he kept selling non-existent lands to wealthy _idiots.

3. Calisto Tanzi
Calisto Tanzi is an Italian business man, The founder and former chief executive of Italian food conglomerate Parmalat. Notorious for embezzling an estimated 800 million euros from his own company. His company then collapsed with a 14bn-euro hole in its accounts in what was Europe's biggest bankruptcy.
He affectedly scammed 135,000 small investors who had been convinced that buying bonds in the company was a safe investment. In 2010, he was sentenced to 18 years in jail for his role in a fraud at the firm.

4. Victor Lustig Austrian “Count” Victor Lustig, 46 years old at the time, was America’s most dangerous con man. In a lengthy criminal career, his sleight-of-hand tricks and get-rich-quick schemes had rocked Jazz-Era America and the rest of the world. In Paris, he had sold the frigging Eiffel Tower in an audacious confidence game—not once, but twice.
Finally, in 1935, Lustig was captured after masterminding a counterfeit banknote operation so vast that it threatened to shake confidence in the American economy. A judge in New York sentenced him to 20 years on Alcatraz.
Handsome Devil is a novel by Jeff Maysh that portrays the dazzling true story of Count Victor Lustig, history’s most daring – and flamboyant – con man. He possessed a hypnotic charm, spoke five languages fluently, he used 47 aliases and carried dozens of fake passports, He created a web of lies so thick that even today his true identity remains shrouded in mystery.
One Secret Service agent wrote that Lustig was “as elusive as a puff of cigarette smoke and as charming as a young girl’s dream,”

5. Mr Natwarlal - The infamous legendary Indian con man
There are con artists and then there are CON Artists!!!
This guy falls in the latter category. His name is Mr Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava, infamously known as Mr Natwarlal. Once you read about him you will never forget him and that’s a FACT.
He was a lawyer who turned into a conman because he was good at forgery. He was a master of disguise and had over 50 different aliases. He was at times the president and at times a business magnate. He sold the Taj Mahal thrice and other famous Indian monuments. He once sold the House of Parliament to foreigners and the MPs were included in the deal. That’s like selling the National Assembly with the senate members…lol
He was arrested various times and his cumulative sentences totaled 113 years in prison but he hardly spent 20 years in prison. His last great escape was in 1996 at the age of 84 while been transported from prison to the hospital, he vanished on his WHEEL CHAIR. He was never seen again, although his lawyer claimed he was still alive as at 2009. https://chennaionline.com/images/articles/November2015/da7b1370-819e-47b9-b9a0-606b5d1a1fd5OtherImage.jpg
6. Frank Abagnale, Jr. Perhaps the Greatest of All Time (GOAT). If you haven’t seen the movie “Catch Me If You Can” and you call yourself a Leonardo Di Caprio fan, then you’ve gotta be absolutely kidding me. Frank is the most well-known impostor alive. He assumed 8 different identities and by his own admittance, he has been an airline pilot, a chief residence doctor on full pay, a university professor, U.S. Bureau of Prisons agent, and a lawyer. This guy was literally the God father of Badass.
Mr. Abagnale collected over $40,000 from various banks across New York City. He was caught by the French police and had already committed crimes in at least 12 countries. He served jail time in France and Sweden, was extradited to the United States, escaped from a moving damned airplane and nearly orchestrated a perfect getaway. Dude almost pulled a “fast and the furious” getaway...
Once Abagnale was imprisoned, he convinced his guards that he was actually an undercover prison inspector and that he needed the privilege of having an unsupervised meeting with his FBI agent contact. Yeah, they bought it. At 21 he had escaped from police custody twice and after spending 4 years in prison he was hired by the FBI to help catch other con men.
