Diddyydiva: Awon omokekere wonyi wa ko rope won le ma soro si agbalagba anyhow. ![]() Ofe fi mi pa star, olodo ara e tio ti mo bo shen lo. |
mhisbliss: Are frigging kidding me? Are you really this unintelligent to understand a simple post? ![]() So for a thread talking about being a Model Girlfriend, I should have added how to be a Model Boyfriend in my post just so it can appear "not one sided" like you alluded? Did you even read the part where I blamed guys for brainwashing ladies? ![]() Why didn't you quote the OP and other posters who didn't add the guy bit in their post Mrs Smarty pants? ![]() You think you come off as intelligent by replying me and throwing petty shades?? .. If I start with you, you wouldn't last a second. The last paragraph of your post is just hilarious, so the only way to ask a question was to sound petty and sarcastic?I am already having a pleasant day MhisWhatever you call yourself, its high time you take my initial advice and go for a hike or perhaps whatever your pap brain can come up with. Totally done with your juvenile delinquent acts. |
Winnelyn: I can see your middle name is "STRONG HEAD"..Miss Winnie D POOH ![]() |
Winnelyn: Change your font and color missy! ..Didn't you see the copyright seal? |
JeffreyJamez: ![]() |
mhisbliss: If you were not a kid, you wouldn't have made a failed attempt to troll on my post. The thread talks about "Model Girlfriend" and I dropped my bit. Your sarcasm was totally uncalled for, I didn't say ALL ladies, I said MOST ladies don't know what they want. How that gets you itchy to think you can quote me and be snarky is rather nauseating. You should be disappointed in yourself. Next time don't go quoting people trying to act smart just to make them look silly, most especially when its absolutely unnecessary Capisce! |
suzan404: lol..ikr, but i am here now tho ![]() Sleep tight dear |
JeffreyJamez: Hahhaha..I dey tellzz you. Never get involved in cat fights, just observe with your popcorn or better still you fresh fish and chilled vodka & coke. ![]() |

JeffreyJamez: The Oracle himself ![]() That phrase is just litt bruv! ![]() |
suzan404: Suzzy peperempe! ![]() All the best in your exams 2mr. You should actually be sleeping now tho ![]() |
Laveda: Well tbh even guys make ladies think this way. You hear things like "if you really love me you would give me the cookie". I ain't here to preach tho, but if sex isn't priority for you as a lady, don't let a guy brainwash you into thinking that he would love you more after "being with you". Most ladies don't even know what they want, some are just too bored of their own company and jump into any available relationship, some ricochet from one breakup to the next available guy there to console them, others just think at a particular age they should have some guy they call a bf. If your own company bores you to death, then how do you intend to keep a guy in a relationship for long? If you don't love yourself, how do you expect someone else to love you? If you don't know your value, how do you expect a guy to value you? Abeg make I continue to dey read comments jare! lol |
Laveda: Hahaha..sure. Ladies need to know there is more to life than their bodies, its high time ladies stop saying things like "after I gave him my time, my body, my heart". That kind of thinking is all shades of wrong! Anyway patiently waiting to see more. ![]() |
Laveda: ![]() Biko allow me to be in stealth mode nau! Nice thread. ![]() I have just been going through the comments on the first page, as expected seen quite a few pesky comments. Let me continue reading and having a good laugh. ![]() |
suzan404: You are a small pikin nau. Dem neva born you then ![]() |
suzan404: This movie gave me goose bumps then. ![]() Scary shii! ![]() |
EHMIR: Sirwallace: hopefulLandlord: KORLAR: @EHMIR Are you a Christian? If yes then what you should be doing is getting an understanding of why Jesus did what he did. Its quite funny you make a soulless tree look like a victim, whereas you have probably cleared your backyard of "Unwanted innocent weeds" who have done absolutely nothing but grow naturally. @KORLAR When your Biology teacher wants to teach you practicals of the digestive system of a rabbit, does he bring a live rabbit to class to explain or one that has been killed and the stomach ripped open? ![]() @hopefulLandlord You have quite an interesting write-up . However like many others you keep missing the point. Jesus wasn't angry, if he was the bible would have recorded it. You went on to make this statement which I find a little bit hilarious "...Jesus demands the fig tree bear him fruit, however the fig tree doesn’t respond (it’s a tree)" . Your argument for the tree refusing to respond to Jesus is based on the fact that its a tree? Seriously?? How come this same tree responded to a curse? ![]() Jesus spoke to the waves, Matt 4:39 Jesus spoke to a little boys meal, Luke 9:16 Jesus spoke to Fishes, John 21:6 Jesus spoke to a Dead Man, John 11:43 In your closing remarks you also said "..This story seems so unimportant and purposeless yet both Mark and Matthew mention it so it must have some importance" . Shouldn't you be willing to understand why Mark and Matthew wrote about it? ![]() Finally, Jesus never hurt anyone. Even the woman who was caught in the very act of adultery was not condemned by Jesus. He walked in love, so don't try to equate the story of the fig tree to the character of Jesus. @SirWallace What makes the tree "innocent"? You are missing the point about faith here, but if you are ready to take time to understand then I would enlighten you a bit. The Post's by Strawman & Chukzyfcb below have actually explained most parts but there is an additional point I want you to understand. Hebrews 11:1 states that "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen." Notice the part where it says EVIDENCE, which means PROOF or TITLE DEED. Question is how can you have the evidence of something you have not seen? Now that's FAITH. FAITH is that EVIDENCE. Taking you back to the incidence with the fig tree, when Jesus noticed the tree was barren, he caused the tree saying "Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever" . The exciting part of this scripture is that although it was immediately recorded in the following sentence that the fig tree immediately withered, it was not seen physically by the disciples. Notice when he caused the tree, there was no comment from anyone. The disciples must have wondered in their hearts "...but the leaves of the tree are still green", but they kept quiet. Now as they returned Peter noticed that the tree had dried up and called the attention of the Master to it. This is also another remarkable part of this scripture, Jesus wasn't surprised. He didn't yell "Oh really"? which is what most people do when they try to act in faith and it happens by chance or coincidence. Jesus was 100% sure that tree died when he cursed it even though no one could notice it with their physical eyes. The tree died immediately from the roots and the response Jesus gave to Peter was also remarkable. In Mark11:22 Jesus said, "22“Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them. 23“Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him . 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours". Notice the part I highlighted. That was what Jesus was trying to communicate to them using the fig tree. He had no doubt in his heart that the tree didn't die when he cursed it and he got exactly what he said. In summary, one of the lessons here is that DOUBT cripples FAITH. No matter how much you scream or shout, as long as you harbor doubt you are not functioning in FAITH and therefore have no EVIDENCE of that which is unseen. I hope this with the posts below would help most people understand this a lot better. cc: chinnyness122 Strawman: Chukzyfcb: |

I think the concept of Animal rights would always be a delicate subject as those who advocate for such rights believe that animals have varying degrees of emotions as they can feel pain, fear, pleasure and even happiness. Animal rights activist stem their arguments from the stance that we are morally and ethically obligated to let animals live their lives void of fear of being hunted, caged, used for entertainments (circus, zoo, pets), sports, experimental purposes, labour etc. But in reality this is very unrealistic, as animal rights would be imposing a strict vegetarian diet on the whole world (Plus being vegetarian is definitely not an African tingy) , not to talk of other things we would be losing out on. A few years ago humans had to rely on animals for transportation, food, labour (such as in the case of tiling a land or carrying logs of wood), clothing etc. In fact, to get any thing done would virtually have been impossible without the use of animals. If anyone had made such arguments then, it would have sounded really silly and ridiculous. Several years down the line technology has bailed us out of the need to constantly use them for everything. We can now produce clothing items that are 100% cotton (or mix), use tractors on our farmlands, get to our destinations with a broad range of transport services. So you hardly see anyone riding a donkey in your community, however I think the major concern for most people, I inclusive would be that even though animals are not morally inclined and are not rational beings they actually deserve some form of rights especially for animals that are on the verge of extinction and also to create a balance in the ecosystem. There was a story I overheard on the radio a couple of years back about a particular animal (I cant remember what animal exactly) that was being hunted for sports, it happened in a small town that only had one source of water which was a stream. After several years of hunting down this animal, they noticed the stream began to dry unknown to them that the animal was responsible for eating a particular "plant" or "shrub" that grew at some point on the stream which connected the stream to another large river which was where the stream got its source. Now because they had been killing this animal there was no animal to eat the plant and hence their stream ran dry. I can only imagine how many other animals would have been sacrificed to one deity or the other to cleanse them from their sins as a result of an issue they ignorantly caused. When we look at situations like this we realize that our actions have consequences and a ripple effect. We might not be directly affected but another animal, plant, or even nature gets affected when we create an unbalance with our unnecessary animal poaching. So if you ask me, well I do believe in animal rights to some extent. |
