He said in the letter he will be sponsoring the entire trip for my entire stay in the uk. The lump sum hit my account last month( allowance from employer and Ajo) I already had half the money in another account as far back as January but the recent large sums are just my Ajo and allowances. As for the Ajo I explained it and also sited the amount of money that leaves my account monthly towards that purpose as the large sum payment of Ajo came from the same account I have been making my ajo payment to. As for my biometrics, I am yet to pick a date as I am trying to make sure everythingis okay with my application before I go ahead.

When did this lumpsums hit ur acct? When are u goin for biometrics?

The lump sum of money received in the year so far my allowance which clearlyshows my employers name on the transaction and my Ajo money which is part of my savings and I wrote a cover letter to explain this. If you would be kind enough to let me know how I will addressthe letter please.

If he is fully inviting you and is responsible for the full cost of your trip, then the financial power tht will be crossly checked is his. Submit ur bank statement for them to hve an idea of your own finacial circumstances in Nigeria. If u know there are multiple unexplained credits there tht caused you to have this large figure better submit like a 3 or 2 months statemnt devoid of those multiple transactions while he submits 4 to 6 months bank statement

Hi goodevening, I earn a salary of 250k and I have savings of 2.5m, I am being invited by my elder sisters family ( the name on the invitation letter is her husband's and he is a doctor), he has ent me all the necessary documents i.e pay slip, invitation letter, bank statement, mortgage document and utility bill, I also have my employment letter, payslip, leave letter, letter of introduction from my employer. Do you think the money in my account is enoughand do I need another document. My inlaw clearlystated in the
invitation letter that he will be paying for my stay in the uk and also housing me.

Satisfy purpose of trip, ties to country and financial security and take it from there. As for travel hx of Dubai, the world over... it contributes little or nothing to a uk visa application.

Like I said, in HR, anyone can jump in and take up roles, so keep an open mind and be prepared not to be surprised if your MSc, when obtained, does not particularly impress recruiters.

Pick any date and then walk in. If you pick flexi and can checkout you can also do that and walk in any day with that flexi printout. Hope this helps. I did the former because I couldn't check out when i did the latter

I am helping someone with an application and I am stuck at the section to pick dates, anytime I include flexi appointment I can't see any date even though I picked priority but anytime I remove flexi there are some dates but far off than I would have liked. Is it possible to pick flexi appointment later on after picking a date in order to move the process along.

Exactly what I meant and you can get your application moving. People forget that time is money, where you can speed up a process and you have the means…. I’m an advocate for that Abeg lol.

I applied 3rd of June and the rush wasn’t epic then yet I did priority. On the long run, it saved me some money because I was able to get a reasonable flight ticket and a cheap Amber arrival test kit.

I got my admission in December 2019 I deferred till this year.

Day 5 is a test to release. You’ll pay extra for that apart from the day 2 & day 8 price.
Also many of the cheap test are sold out. It’s not too early to book if you’ve confirmed travel dates for this month or early next.

I saw a post about day five test and that allows me to move around but I have to still do test 8. I just clicked the link and saw really cheap test kits, is that the cost for just one day?

The UK has grouped countries into zones and different zones have different requirements. The zones are Green, Red and Amber and they have various requirements
Nigeria is on the Amber list and for countries on the Amber list are required to do a day 2 & day 8 covid test on arrival into the UK.

These test are offered by so so many providers and can be sold individually and more often as a package.

My brother is going on holiday and got his for £79
Most of the cheaper providers are sold out
As you would expect, supervised swabs at home will be more expensive than self swab at home which will be more expensive than supervised swab in clinic and that is in turn more expensive than self swab in clinic.
