That particular brand of Lexus Es always have gear issues ..I think what you are passing through regarding your car is gear issue,.see a gear technician and mind you, try and go for gear replacement rather than repair..to avoid stories after spending money..

Expert in the house i need your input for car recommendation for first time car owner, budget is between 1.5 - 1.8 main preference is cheap maintenance and fuel efficiency, needed for city driving of my kids to school 20 mins a day and 2 to 3 times 1hr+ journey a year, i have been checking here and jiji i am seeing some peogeut 206, almera tino and honda civic but really not sure what the best choice is, i am not limited to this 3 but those are the ones that i have been seeing within my budget. Automatic will be preferred as i am new to driving. thanks

Always use genuine oil and filter for the replaced engine.
I've seen so many 2GR's suffer engine failure from fake filters

For the past two weeks, my Mercedes E320,w211, have been having problem of shifting gear from gear 1, once I engage the gear I hear a Gbi sound, and once the car is on motion I will be hearing a humming sound from the gear without changing gear.

I engage the service of the mechanic and as usual trial and error.

Please who can help me with a very competent gear specialist in Abuja that can help me out
