MY KICK DOWN IS NOT WORKING AND THEN I NOTICED THAT WHEN U START THE CAR THE INITIAL MOVEMENT FROM ONE TO 2 IS HARSH .. IT CHANGES AT RPM 4 OR SOMETIMES 5 . AS OPPOSED TO 2.

BUT AFTER THE FIRST HARSH CHANGE IT WORKS FINE .. UNTIL YOU SWITCH OFF THE CAR .. AND THEN U START ALL OVER AGAIN WITH THE HARD SHIFT FROM ONE TO TWO... OTHER THAN THAT IT DRIVES WELL AND ALL GEARS CHANGE FINE.

THE KICK DOWN IS ALSO NOT WORKING....

EFFORTS SO FAR: I CHANGED THE KICK DOWN CABLE .. FROM THE THROTTLE BODY TO THE GEAR BOX NOTICED THE FORMER ONE HAD CUT .... BUT STILL NO CHANGE..

EVEN CHANGED THE GEAR BOX.. WITH A TOKUNBO FROM LADIPO.. STILL THESAME FAULT..

I CHANGED THE CONVERTER .. BUT STILL THESAME FAULT .. RECENTLY HAD A OIL AND FILTER CHANGE AS WELL FOR THE GEAR BOX.. STILL NO DIFFERENCE..

AM CONFUSED .. I LOVE THIS CAR AND HOLD A PRETTY SENTIMENTAL ATTACHMENT TO IT .. COS IT WAS MY FIRST.. I AINT SELLING COS ITS AS GOOD AS NEW . . ND VERY RUGGED... JUST THIS GLITCH .. I FEEL BAD FOR JAMES .. THATS HIS NAME.. HIS SIBLINGS ARE PROBABLY LAUGHING AT HIM NOW BECOS NOW I DNT USE HIM MUCH ..BUT I REALLY TO NEED TO GET TO WHATS WRONG.. ANY BODY HELP PLEASE..

I've loaded and lost 3GB twice in 8days just by patronizing Airtel ng, how can one load and activate 3GB, in four days it get exhausted just by running my emails, WhatsApp, some websites and nairaland, loaded another and same occurs?
Airtel is a fraudulent network provider with poor customer care service personnel. its unfortunate that Glo Ng is a very slow and unreliable network.

That is what we were told back in primary school but to be honest, i llearn nothing new most days. Just once in a while and at times hard and painful ways.
What is your take on raised shock absorbers?. My rear shocks are so low and road to my house so bad that I get as much as five or more bashes under my car daily no matter how careful I try to navigate the bad road.
Felt the solution to this is raising my rear shock absorbers. Some don't advise this but won't it be more damaging ignoring the hits and brushes i get under the car with the bad road?. Ever heard about raising rubber used in raising shocks as against welding?.

DO NOT raise the shocks or alter the suspension of your car in anyway that will pose serious risk.
figure your vehicle getting a rollover from an evasive maneuver just as the Jeep Grand Cherokee is.
