If I didn't get my NIN earlier, I don't think I will get it now unless I have a desperate need for it. My point is that getting NIN now is very difficult unless the person is willing to bribe. The difficulty discourages people from getting the NIN. Try to visit NIN enrollment centres to understand the point. Since getting it is very difficult, it is an act of wickedness to make it compulsory for those who are interested in the custom Rice. Hunger pandemic is like health issues in hospital emergency wards.

That's true though yet people still died in the process of wrong arrangement or disbursment pattern used

You are highly illogical here. This situation is about pandemic of hunger. The NIN requirement has no justification here.

It is right to use banks, communication companies, NECO, JAMB, WAEC, Passport office, Driver Licence, Voter Card and other forms of registrations or enrolments to enforce NIN enrolment. And these things are already being used for the enforcement.

But using food pandemic to enforce NIN enrolment is totally wrong. It is like using emergency wards in hospitals to enforce NIN enrolment. You are the one suffering from acute black mentality. That's why you fail to understand that emergency situations are handled differently.

What am saying actually is that why won't an average citizen of Nigeria have NIN 🤔

Dont just send her to Nigeria but send her to a village where she will have to go to the farm,fetch water from the stream, cook with firewood, feel the bite of mosquitoes and tsetsefly, attend village schools and then learn your local language and culture. By the time she is done experiencing all these then she will become a changed person and beg you to come to her rescue.

It was not difficult for me to get my own NIN in 2014. But have you been to any NIN centre recently? This is an emergency situation and the selling will soon end. It is not as if people can still meet the offer after using days or weeks to get NIN.

But how may times the government have said it all over and over again base on how importance it is for individuals to get NIN as a citizen yet if they didn't take action people won't still get it ..


Similarly to sin registration too until d network said they will block lines before people option for it ..

There's nothing wrong with asking people to present their NIN before benefiting from the government.

In advanced countries, our NIN can be likened to their social security number. If you don't have one, you are just useless in their country.

I know there are a lot of things we don't get right in this country, but asking people for NIN before they benefit from government palliatives is certainly not one of them.

Though rice is not easily grown in the southern climate, it can be done. I am still angry with our professors. They are doing nothing, yet want the government to increase their pay. Hmmmm!

I am also angry with Sanwo Olu. That rice mill is a waste right now. The cost of bringing in rice paddy is something that should have been investigated before building that huge mill. Now, they will make this mill a means to loot massively.

More than enough Rice can be cultivated for the mill
As an ecology lover, I know what to do to make Lagos, Ogun Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, and Edo grow rice for that mill. This is the reason I am still angry with our professors. They don't do much. How can they not all be able to come together to tackle the ecological problems that need to be fixed to make it happen? I still don't understand what these professors are collecting money for. They aren't solving any problem na.

Anyway, na to make politicians richer na. Lol.

I have been through it my friend, and still in it, some of my aunties still encourage me to keep searching for a gov job, although no regret so far, Sometimes when inflation is bitting hard, and customers who never moved pass elementary 5 starts to insult you over N1500 workmanship from a phone u fix for him more than 3 months earlier, you just cannot do anything order than to wish Nigeria was a better country. Before you say jack! It's time to renew store rent again. House rent is there also, waiting for renewal, aren't you going to feed? This kinda make me to start to respect most directors/CEOs/owners of companies. Please let's take a moment to appreciate employers of labour, it's really not easy for them. Your employer is a business man, be it a lawyer who owns a firm or a medical doctor who owns an hospital. What graduates care about is salary increment, how huge the salary offer is, not considering if the place you work is having a smooth business operations to sustain its existence. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

If the ultimate goal is to get a job , why not aim t get a job first? People who have not even finished secondary school and even drop outs are working at google , Facebook etc.

Focus less on getting a certificate and more on getting a skill that van add value to people and organisations.

And never forget, Unemployment is a choice.

I focus more on certifications is what is limiting my career and my success till date 😢

Why not use part of the funds for masters and learn a skill? Be it Electrical, plumbing, IT, repairs of industrial generators, furniture, pop installation, repairs of medical equipment, etc

When you have gathered experience, you open your own company, register it, start pursuing contracts.

The guy that's services our gen in my office charge is 50k that's after we might have called him several times and waited .., He is always damn booked and busy.

The security guy in my office who also doubles as a plumber is cashing out big time, the day he broke his piggy bank in my presence, just for 6months from his hustle as a plumber. I cursed my Nigeria certificate.

Think of being an creator of job, and not a job seeker even after your masters.

obj sold the refineries to Dangote and Otedola before leaving office, because of public outcry and this same APC propaganda against PDP goverments, they were able to make people believe that the move was borne out of selfish decisions, yar adua had to reverse the decision and stop the sale . now 20 years after that decision , those refineries are still not working , and they will never function well under government ownership.
and now Tinubu has allocated over 3 billion naira spending three billion to repair them and it is certainly not going to work because of fx fluctuations, buhari alone spent 19biilion naira on those refineries, not to mention the money previous governments have been spending on them.

atiku has been presenting credible economic plans for the nation for the past 15 years, but the fake stories obj peddled about him won't even allow people to hear him out or listen to him,
when he made mention of selling the refineries, many people APC started shouting that Atiku is a thief, balabu. Now Tinubu has spent about 3b repairing the refineries and they are still not working, now fg is contemplating selling the refineries, what a waste of public funds.

Hmmm like seriously am part of them by saying atiku is a dis and that for selling the refinery but now I can see the reason the decision would have been the best to sell it rather than spending funds on what won't told any positive outcome 😢
