My friend, the Vatican gave you four gospels. There are other gospels you haven't heard about, Philip, Barnabas etc. Please don't let something written by cavemen lead you.
Extremism in any direction rarely leads you to truth. It's very easy to allow for a Christian worldview and not ignore science. For me, every scientific discovery is evidence of the awesomeness of Gods creation and a portal to understanding him and growing closer to him. How do I explain the dinosaurs and prehistoric man? The same way any other reasonabley educated person would.
Nairaland / General / Signs You’re Spending Too Much Time Looking At Your Phone by kingsfield(m): 8:24am On Feb 23, 2016
When the entire world is at your fingertips, the temptation to never let it out of your sight is understandable.
Life-altering online advancements like GPS location software, social media connections, Candy Crush and an unending supply of Fail GIFs are available to us whenever we want, wherever we want. It’s an amazing time to be alive when anyone can watch this “Thanks Obama” clip on an endless loop while they wait in line at Starbucks.
Recent research has confirmed that cell phone “addiction” is actually a real thing. Professionals have even devised methods of determining if you suffer from a psychological condition that warrants actual medical intervention ( symptoms include : reduction of competing behaviors, engaging in the behavior despite risks and negative consequences, withdrawal, etc.). But even if you’re not neurologically dependent on playing Kim Kardashian’s iPhone game for a few moments while you’re pumping gas, there still may be ways to determine that you are spending too much time looking at your phone.
Here’s a list to help.
1. You Look at Your Phone While You’re Bored at Church
Even the best pastors have off days. And, let’s just be honest here, it’s easy to let your mind drift on Sunday mornings from time to time. But a sermon is no time to be checking Twitter.
2. You Use Your Phone as a Crutch in Socially Awkward Situations
We’ve all been there: You show up at a party before the rest of your friends, and you don’t know anybody. Instead of attempting to meet new friends , you pull out your phone and pretend you are texting someone something really important. Next time, try keeping the phone in your pocket and do what they did in the old days: mingle.
3. All of Your Alone Time is Spent on Your Phone
If every moment of solitude, waiting at a restaurant, bathroom break or evening by yourself is filled with browsing the Internet or playing phone games, you may want to cut back.
4. You Consistently Have Zero New Items in Your Facebook Newsfeed
Yup, you’re checking Facebook too much.
5. It’s the Last Thing You See Before Bed, and the First Thing You Look in the Morning
Besides avoiding some negative health effects, it’s probably a good practice to give yourself a little time before bed and when you wake up before checking your email. Pray, talk to your spouse, read—whatever you do, stay unplugged for a few minutes and enjoy some moments of non-digital life.
6. You Check for Social Media Updates at Traffic Lights
If every red light is simply an excuse to look at something on your phone, you are walking the (literally) dangerous tightrope of texting and driving.
Trust us, that’s never a good idea.
7. Airplane Mode Induces Anxiety
If a flight attendant asks that you place your phone in airplane mode, and you consider defying FAA regulations so as not to end a text conversation, miss a Twitter update or continue to play an online game, you might have a problem.

Seriously, the dressing is not bad if it were to be those olden days but now the level of perveseness is on the high note, even among some primary school pupils and secondary school students.
I want to believe that the lady was trying to look smart and have a good corporate look at work. You can't expect a young and 'well endowed' female teacher to tie wrapper when teaching.
....just that students/minors are exposed to immoral activities these days.

How has NIKE obtained the statistics of the 'many ' people Manny has offended? Gayism is a satanic ideology upheld by a microscopic few derailed but wealthy members of the society who control the media and are quick to silence any voice that speaks the TRUTH. Pacman, let the entire world be against you after all, it was when all the powers that were were against Stephen that he saw an open heaven with the SON of Man standing to welcome him home.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

We (u & i)should respect, enjoy, and embrace the beautiful diversity in the Bible and not try to iron everything out so neatly. If God wanted to give us one account of Jesus, He would have given us one Gospel instead of four. We need to celebrate this diversity instead of being ashamed of it.

Please, go and sit down. America and their gay rights are moving forward.

Dollar is rising towards 400 naira per dollar and you are here shouting and pushing religious beliefs that most modern people don't care about.

Pacman is worth millions of dollars. He does not need your help. And gays in America do not care about you.

Let us Nigerians focus on serious things. How do we survive Buhari economics?
Our help come from the Lord who made heaven and earth, not from Buhari.

Religion / PETITION: I Stand With Manny Pacquiao Against LGBT Bullies by kingsfield(m): 12:09am On Feb 20, 2016
Background:
Manny Pacquiao is getting pummelled by the anti-family mainstream media, and by the same LGBT-activist buillies who preach "tolerance," but apparently cannot a tolerate a viewpoint that is different than their own.
The reason? This week, in response to a question from a reporter, Pacquiao rightly pointed out that male and female complement each other biologically, and that it's simply "common sense" that men were not meant to mate with men, or women with women.
“It’s common sense,” the boxer replied to the reporter’s query. “Will you see any animals where male is to male and female is to female? The animals are better. They know how to distinguish male from female. If we approve male on male, female on female then man is worse than animals.”
The remarks caused a firestorm of controversy, stoked by Western media and LGBT activists.
The media misquoted Pacquiao as having said that homosexuals were “worse than animals,” whereas what he really said was that “man,” as in “humanity,” is “worse than animals” for not realizing, as the animals do, that men and women complement each other.
The indisputable fact is that homosexual sexual acts come with a host of physical and psychological harms that stem from the misuse of the human body - from astronomically higher rates of STDs like HIV/AIDS and gonorrhea, to anal cancer, breast cancer, drug and alcohol abuse, depression and suicide. It is certainly not "hateful" or "homophobic" to point this out, and there is no evidence that Pacquiao expressed this viewpoint out of hate. On the contrary, it is loving to speak the truth in charity, and to warn people away from a harmful lifestyle.
Pacquiao has since responded with a muted but sincere apology for any hurt his statement had unintentionally caused, but did not retract his position.
“I'm sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I've hurt. I still stand on my belief that I'm against same-sex marriage because of what the Bible says, but I'm not condemning LGBT. I love you all with the love of the Lord. God Bless you all and I'm praying for you,” he posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
But the damage done by western media was already accomplished. Yesterday
Nike terminated it’s relationship with the boxer, stating, “We find Manny Pacquiao's comments abhorrent.” And, to kick the man while he is down, Pacquiao's longtime promoter Bob Arum told reporters that he agrees with Nike's decision to sack the boxer, stating "Manny's remarks were offensive to many people ... Nike acted appropriately."
Christians and other people of good will need to stand with Pacquiao in support of natural marriage. Help us send him a message encouraging him to stay strong in his pro-family beliefs!

This is yoruba as usual making excuses.

Yoruba always makng excuses and shifting the bar. When it started, they said it was a welding shop, after he opened and showcase his manufacturing process and equipment, they said all the parts where imported and assembled in Nigeria, but that stop after the Manufacturing watch dog verified that they actually locally sourced and produced 60% of the material at home, the bigots said they won't buy or trust Innoson vehicles until SON shows it passed all Safety tests, well SON verified it was just as safe as other imported cars. The bigots are never tired you know, they came up again and said that until Innoson is fully able to fully manufacture a part or parts locally for Federal government on something hightech, then they will believe it is not a spare parts shop, well as God would have Innoson was able to fully retrofit the braking systems of all Nigerian Air Force military Jets, something that the Chief of Air Staff personally met and thank Innoson for the engineering feat...saved them million of dollars on. The bigots refused to move that thread to front page...never despite 5 threads on it and verified. Do you know what the bigots said this time around, they said he should manufacture a complete Air Force jet to prove he is capable. Lol. Even if Innoson manufactures a complete aircraft and it flies, these bigots would say until it flies into the cloud and into space....they will not believe it.
Totally off point
