bxcode: Permit me to say that your points are quite valid in the sense that most churches today are just mere gatherings and performance of weekly religious rituals without Jesus as the focus of worship as it is meant to be. People go to church today just to fulfill all righteousness and get God of their back for the rest of the week. They pay tithe and settle God for the month and return to their bribery and corruption. In summary, there's a whole lot of people that needs to hear the gospel truth and a whole number of them are in churches today. But bro, distancing yourself from the gathering of brethren for a long time can backfire, remember the wiles of the enemy and how deceptive he can be. There are still some good churches today because it's not possible for the body of Christ to be prevailed completely by the gates of hell. All you need do is to pray that the holy spirit will lead you to that church that will uplift you whenever you come around and will leave you feeling awesome after each service without perversion of the gospel truth. I will be praying for you. Remain Blessed. This still baffle me though, the world is very mobile now, you can get Christian message on the go, the necessity to gather in a particular place is long loosing its value, I don't need to be in a particular setting to pray, read my bible and say my Graces. I agree they are churches that preach the gospel the way it is, but that's like finding a needle in a haystack. |

Haven't been to church for sometime now, months it is, went today and it seem I'm feeling disconnected with the doctrine of the church and the idea as a whole, I do listen to Christian podcast(Joel Osteen preferably)for those time I wasn't in church and still feel more fulfilled hearing the word unfiltered just by meself not influenced by anyone.. Will take another lengthy time before I step into church again, christianity to me is a state of mind, and such state can be achieved when you @ the confine of your home or anywhere. Nigerians religion leaders has topsided it

Nigeria song as a whole has no message but mirage, the selected few with good message (Asa,Timi Dakolo to mention few), are not followed(Asa don't pay attention to Nigeria audience that much), but others like Ruby of chocolate city and Praise too.... Its more of the audience fault, what you like is what is being given to you... from Rap to pop... I'll stick to my guys nonstop(Jesse jagz,Asa,Ruby and Timi) |

YourMain: It's really unfair... You're going to let go of an amazing woman because of her past. She wouldn't be a prostitute. She'd be an ex prostitute. I'm sure you wouldn't even want to hear of the circumstances that choose the choices the did.
Yes the past may come to haunt you but I'm sure she'd have told you by then. When she's positive of your love for her I'm sure she'd be able to show her all the unfavourable parts of her.
I understand where you're coming from but it's honestly really unfair to treat a person based on the kind of person they were in the past. The road to redemption is long and hard and it's awful to keep throwing it back in their face after they've accomplished that. As much i want to reason with you, as i stated earlier on this topic, live life the best way possible, some decision made should be reasoned properly, i really don't wanna know what circumstances led to that path, we live life for the future and make sure we guide our decision by morals( i can bet nothing on earth will make you do it), its just like telling a guy to go rob cause he can't meet end means. "all in reference to the ishh of prostitute" |

BTW, Kingsilly, anything to say? Errrrrm........ Well oh well... I must confess I've lost touch of me root cause I've been moving since I was little, I'll prefer to be seen as who I am not we're I'm from, which make me fall to your line of thought of people not being "too tribe conscious" before dealing with a person. I'M ME |

Romance › Re: When Your Bae Insists On Investigating Your Past. by kingsilly(m): 1:59pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Toks2008: Have you always wondered why some people are quick to say "i don't want to talk about it" whenever a new person in their life asks why they broke up with an ex?
I guess most times people who are quick to waive the discussion might just have something sensitive they do not want to share because in many instances we tend to allow the feeling of initial gragra cloud our sense of reasoning and just fall in love with someone who was really a nightmare to his or her ex(es) no wonder why many companies ask for letter of reference from your past employer or someone that can really vouch for you.
My advice to ladies or guys who seem to lose their sense of reasoning due to "desperation to get married" is to calm down and do serious research on whoever they want to settle with.I believe if we all imbibe the culture of insisting that we speak one on one with an ex of our potential new partner or dig into their past,we will save ourselves unpleasant surprises and avoidable heart aches.
This is not just about believing whatever he or she tells you due to the decietful nature of people but its about making a thorough due diligence by speaking to a friend,neighbor,sibling,co-worker or even the ex of that person just to have a good picture of who you are about to commit yourself to.
I know this sounds funny but i believe its reasonable and this is the secret of long lasting marriages of our parents because in those days, they don't joke with due diligence up to the generations of the great grand parents of the potential spouse..lol!.
Many men have lost their lives indulging with married ladies who lied to them that they are single as well as many men losing all they ever worked for to a dangerous gold digger as well as evil ladies and many ladies have ended up getting deeply involved with a married man or even a notorious guy without having a clue.
No matter how seemingly innocent and responsible that guy or lady may look outwardly, trust me on this,it is always better to scrutinize the past of any new person we want to start a real affair with because when it comes to character, more often than not, humans are like leopards who never change their spots
Hope this makes sense. Nice write up... I strongly advice to participating parties in a relationship be opened in all dealings, live your life the best way possible so you don't have a lot garbage when people start digging in.. You reap what you Sow, don't blame anyone faulting your past, in due time though you'll see someone who will oversee it all and stay with you nontheless |

osimataylor: You keep him in a warm place. Preferably in a carton. Also place some used newspapers inside to help keep him warm. Feed with mashed yarm mixed with palm oil. Or garri mixed with palm oil with little water to soften it. Open his beck gently and push it down gently. The parrot will equally made attempt to swallow it. Feed three times a day. Also make sure you keep the compartment clean so as not to attract ants. Keep the carton away from rats, cats, dogs etc. You can give it water sparingly using injection syringe or tube. Like seriously guy |
