Fhemmmy: @Kingslove, Sorry to read this - What was your tie to Nigeria to show that you would come backI have an uncle in canny, a medical practitioner who is my sponsor. He is a citizen there. Then my ties to Nigeria, all my siblings and parent are here in Nigeria. That was basically the info I submitted. Said I was going there for schooling so I can be better at my career back home here when done. |
I will still thank God all the same. Anyhow e be, Baba still too much. I was at the visa application centre today went to collect my passport. Come and see as my hands were vibrating when I sat outside to open my package and check my visa *smiles*. I checked through the pages of my passport and found no visa. I had envisioned travelling this month, to resume Jan 2 in Ontario. But it's all good. I was told the authorities are not satisfactorily convinced I will come back after my programs. That my ties in Canada and Nigeria is not convincing enough. Guy please help me with info. I gotta re apply with a better strategy. I was very week, found it hard to go back to work, like to just take off the whole day and stay on my bed. But I just had to encourage myself. God will cause it to work for my good. Aneg u can strike out my name for jan resumption on dat list. You all are amazing. We'll all achieve our desires by God's grace. Enough TRV and medicals this week for all these my people on NL I pray. Much love guys |

Hello lovely people, this week will be full of rejoicing for us all. We Jan2014 bound medical instruction and TRV hopefuls will be called this week. i am so expectant for this. Please for those storming embassy tomorrow, kindly share the response you get here tomorrow. God cannot sleep over our case. Our prayers are answered. Can I get amen? |
The week end was beautiful. It's a new week here with great activities and expectations lined up. There's something that has been bothering me. I stay in Olambe and there is this notice that was pasted all around the houses in this area, saying that the whole expanse of Olambe land belongs to one family that the case has been won in the court or so. People please what does this mean? We have been living here for over a decade and we bought the land with money. How will some family now come now saying they own the whole community. Where were they before. I feel those who lost the case should compensate those who won with the monetary value. It's so funny how things are being played out. |
Lilyluv028: Wow,i live at matogue adelani office,am a graduate of economics,i teach in school as a part time teacher.u are doing a nice job here.well doneThanks a lot for your comment, I appreciate it. Very wonderful contribution. Great thoughts and insightful... |
I just fell victim to another fake employment. I was angry, wished I could do something to them or break their louvres for wasting my time and my transport fare. They posted vacancy around my area in Olambe and Matogun road looking for branch manager- 54k, asst, 49k, other posts 30k. I decked up and went there at abule egba and they started telling me stories. Hungry people that I am better than by far started telling me as manager you have to undergo training by selling electronics on the street for one to three months, before becoming manager. No payment for d training (street hawking) period, and when payment finally comes it would start with 13k. I was so vexed. Just didn't know how to pay them back in their own coin. I wish I knew some force men to call and go destroy their dirty house which also serves as office with several boys and girls there sleeping together there. Once they ask you to come on phone, ignore them and don't waste ur money. They will ask one to come to ahmadiyya, abule egba. Even d bike men der know they are scammers. Their address is 14 aremu lawal street, ahmadiyya, abule egba, lagos. Biko, if you have soldiers go and teach these people a lesson for scamming job seekers. So that they can desist from scamming people. |
Swimming is fun, a good exercise for the whole body, and above all a life skill. It can be a life saver in certain situations. I found myself in such situation during my NYSC in a village by the brink of River Niger. There was flood that year owing to the exessive rainfall and the dams that were opened up in nearby countries. This caused that village I was in to become an island overnight. Water eroded d road that linked the village to the rest of the state. It was then I knew how powerful water is. Farmlands were submerged in water, the road was completely obliterated and we had 'river' all around the village. No way out or in, cost of products within the village immediately rose as shop owners could not get new supply of goods. Other corp members with me were shocked. We had to escape with our load in one of these local canoes that could capside easily if not for God. Even villagers who could swim well had about 4 people drowned during this time. But God plus my swimming ability helped a lot then. No corp member was lost as even the villagers assisted to get us to safety. Swimming is good, and so much fun. |
I see the Giwa to Olambe route is fully busy with construction. Cost of transportation has risen along that route in this past week. Vehicles going to Olambe now go through Okearo - Matogun road. I took a bike while taking that road. They seem to still be able to manouvre and pass a shorter route somehow. Though still at higher cost. I hope the road construction will be done in good time so we can start enjoying easy access to the rest of town and faster one too. Wow! Taking some undergraduate guys in Onibudo(tipper garage area) for swimming lessons tomorrow morning already. Nice one! |
temodent: Why dont you talk about every day life around these places, such as theThanks a lot, great idea. Yea I would add that to it. Thanks a whole lot |
Today I saw one ceiling making company needing factory workers at Olambe junction. I went in to inquire. Seems like what a graduate or undergraduate can do. I will get the address soon and put it here for all |
