jansie: it's a gud suggestion bt i think i'l remain wit Christ Embassy Church.10q
Great choice, it's the same body and I have been blessed immensely with the messages on air and yookos connection. Just understand that in a great house there are many vessels. So the few who don't practice what is preached should not derail you. If you can reach out to them in love, they might have a change of heart. But it's important you are planted and rooted. I am sure you will do great there. I have friends there and Frank Edwards is frequently called to minister at our service. For him to sing such inspired songs, I can tell he has a great Pastor in Christ Embassy. All the best dear.
Christianity EtcRe: Recommend A Church For This Nairalander by kingsolve(m): 4:18pm On Nov 11, 2013
I must say that there is no perfect church anywhere. You have to accept that. With that being said I know of a church that if you would be un biased, putting aside what people say, open up your mind to find things out for yourself you would love and be blessed greatly in this church. If only you will ignore people's hearsays and I believe you have the Holy Spirit so you can discern things for yourself. But I am sure you will greatly be blessed in The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly. Sheba centre, 20 Mobolaji Bank anthony road, Ikeja Lagos. You'll love it I believe.

It's been enlightening finding this thread. I applied for a study visa in Canada. I submitted my application 16th of september. My admission letter reads that I resume 2nd of January next year. I have not heard from the embassy since. I am so trusting God for favour and quick response. I really would love to meet and talk with the people on this thread seeing you all have been here couple of years before me. I'd love to hear your story and advices, how did you pull through this phase I'm in?
RomanceRe: Is Kissing And Romancing Before Marriage 'Fornication' ? by kingsolve(m): 7:52pm On Oct 08, 2013
Also, I forgot to add this, your greatest sex organ is not your genitals, your greatest sex organ is your mind. That is where arousal truly takes place. You see a naked mad woman and you are disgusted, but see a little cleavage of another lady and you go wild. Also you sometimes mistakenly touch a lady's bosom while helping her out of a deadly situation but it doesn't even occur to you it was her bosom nor was ur mind aroused, because your focus was saving a life which overwhelmed your mind and you didn't realise what you touched until several minutes later when everyone has reached safety and you think back on the incident.
This is just to show you fornication truly happens in your mind so don't deceive yourself watching porn, and doing all except penetration, and yet deceive yourself with "I am a virgin"
All that nameth the name of the Lord should depart from evil. So truly it is you the person who can decive if it's wrong or not, so don't deceive yourself for you know.
RomanceRe: Is Kissing And Romancing Before Marriage 'Fornication' ? by kingsolve(m): 7:29pm On Oct 08, 2013
Well this depends on the perspective you're looking at it from. If we take the perspective of the Bible which I assume is the OP's point of view, I have this to say: It's a question I have thought about for several years. I am not talking as if I have not done it. But there was a time in my life I was no longer at peace with it. I had always thought it's not a sin since growing up, nobody told me it was wrong. They only mentioned sex outside marriage as sin.
The unrest I had led me to a deep and open minded search. Because I realised I am responsible for my life and will be held accoutable by how I live and not by what a Pastor told me is okay or not okay. Every man stands alone. I realised the Bible says to refrain from all sexual immorality. Dictionary gave me the meaning of sexual and immorality. Also Jesus said any man that looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Kissing and romancing actually goes beyond the stage of looking lustfully. Before you can kiss and handle her you must have desired her in your heart which even at that stage is adultery, talk less of carrying out the act.
So kissing exceeds the of lusting after which Christ disapproved of. We can choose to ignore or choose to search deep to get convinced on what line of action to take.
I must also say that it's not an easy task staying off the act, it takes a willing heart to obey and God's help to stay off kissing and romancing these days. But it's very possible. After my findings and I decided on what to do , it was then that so many so called offers from different ladies kept coming. It takes a lot to reject each offer one after the other. But it pays on the long run and you have this joy and fulfillment having done the right thing each time, even though it was a very tough call.
I am still in the process, I don't think anyone ever gets done fighting the urge to resist the temptations that keeps coming in different forms and different places and even from the people you least expect.
But doing the right thing always gives this satisfying feeling and fulfilment worth the sacrifice.

PhonesRe: Pls Advice Me On Android Internet Subscription!!! by kingsolve(m): 6:08pm On Oct 04, 2013
I won't advice you use the yellow for android. I once used Etisalat for my galaxy tab. I enjoyed the network availability and the cost. 4gb per month. Can't remember exactly but I think it was more than N1,500. I tried the yellow sim, had to swithch cos it was not cost effective nor the network as active as the former. If your airtel network is good, maybe you use that since it seems cheaper according to the info of the previous post.

Sometimes I wonder whether I was too slow or I don't have enough scoping tactics and experience. I am a fun to be person on a normal level but no much experience in syking. One bad guy would just come and lie to a lady I have been building friendship with hoping to date her soon. And she would follow him and even laugh at his jokes and lies fully knowing they are lies. Before I know it the guy has gotten the jackot. After a while she'll now come back that he is a player. Me wey no be player u no stick with me even tho u know I had intentions. But by then it's too late, I can't be an alternative. I gotta be the main guy.
I even think of becoming like those guys and learning the skill. But this thing is just like driving. U can't learn driving in theory alone. Practicing their act means I become a player and play gurls too, since that's how they acquired the skill. At that point I'd loose a part of me I love so much. Not worth the effort. I gotta be me. Anygirl wey no like good guy no be my own.

Man, I've thought about this severally myself too Oº°˚˚˚˚°ºO. It seems lotta ladies love the bad boys even the good girls too. They just seem to look for how he can reduce his badness a little. But I believe there's still at least one good lady who'll love a good guy. I can't turn bad now, it's too late. And I must date and marry a good gurl. I will be patient no matter what and be on the look out.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Vacancy For Telesales/customer Care Agents @ JUMIA - September 2013 by kingsolve(m): 3:17pm On Sep 27, 2013
I once worked there. I had high hopes and expectations of the coy before going in because of the buzz all over the net. But I got burned and had to resign from there. Still licking my wounds and tending it to heal well. Didn't enjoy the treatment I got there nor the whole settings. If you are jobless and have nothing doing, you may go there. But please like the other person advised, I would not advice you leave your present job for this. Over time I believe the coy would get better and standardise things though. It has prospects if things are done well.
Jobs/VacanciesJK Michaels Test And Interview Today by kingsolve(op): 3:08pm On Sep 27, 2013
I was in traffic on my way home last night (thursday), around half past eight when a text message came into my phone inviting me for an interview at JK Michaels 8am today (Sept 27). Less than 12 hours notice. I had even forgotten I applied there and forgotten the position I applied for. I had to search my sent messages to find out.
Getting there early today amidst the heavy rain was a challenge but I made it early. I was surprised we didn't start until almost ten I guess. I thought the short notice coupled with the rain would reduce the number of people in attendance but to mysurprise we were much.
The test was cool, then the one by one interview. I don't get it if they were actually interviewing us for their operations or for aother company. The way the questions were I am not sure if they have a company demanding for workers yet. I just hope all the sacrifice I put in it would not be a waste. If you were there today please how did your session go, what did you observe with the way it all went, what do you think? Please when they call again for the second phase please let's inform one another via this link. May God give us all wonderful settlements. Getting a job in Lagos is awesome, lemme not say otherwise.
