moneybag4411: Hello House,
someone please advice me on which courier service to use when sending docs to wes. I approached DHL and they told me 20k.
any cheaper option please? Unless you're sending transcript from your school, which isn't supposed to be sent by you, then you don't need to spend money on sending your documents through any courier service. After payment on WES website, you'll get your reference number. Register on www.Hellofax.com Use this WES Fax number 416-972-9004 to fax your documents to WES. Save that 20k or whatever amount, you'll need it for something else later. |

In order words can you kindly list them in order of urgent importance - Is there a checklist of this documents and what are the requirements There is no particular order for gathering documents. All of them are important. You may want to check the list here |

zerozeroseven: Thanks a lot.
Do I have to do separate evaluations for each?
I don't know if WES will consider the BSc as a higher degree and evaluate just the BSc if I proceed to evaluate both of them together.
Thanks a lot. You can do both of them together, it doesn't matter |

zerozeroseven: Good evening everyone.
Please, I have a BSc degree (4 years study) and HND degree (3 years study) both from the UK. I want to know if this qualifies as having "two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" and the best way to evaluate my credentials. Does WES evaluation HND?
Thanks. Yes, it qualifies for two or more certificates and WES do evaluate HND |

realdon: Hello wonderful people. Please advise me on the following issues: 1, How would they classify my qualification if I have OND and later got BSc through direct entry? 2, Also, I stopped working with the bank about five years ago after which I've been self employed with a small gas station; I sell gas accessories and cookers in the small company. What should I fill as working experience? Your qualification will be evaluated as 2 or more certificates. If you can get reference letter from your former place of work (bank), you can claim points for your years of experience there. |

mohioma: Guys,
Can I scan my statement of results to wes to generate reference number, since am travelling to school next week for the original certificate. Won't it affect anything, since I won't av the statement of result again after obtaining the original certificate
Please I need advice. WES would accept your statement of result for Evaluation. Once you Fax it to them, I'm not sure there will be any need for it again, so even if you exchange your Statement of result for your Original certificate, there wouldn't be any problem in future. Search for WES fax number on the thread and sign up with www.hellofax.com to fax to them. Remember to Pay on WES website first to generate your Reference number which you'll need when sending your Statement of result. |

Canadianjjc: I appreciate your response, my score wasn't so impressive from the estimated calculations I did, when you say "remember to select your spouse as unaccompanying" can you kindly clarify the disadvantages of that, cos i wouldn't want to complicate things on the long run, remember my spouse would come around whenever he is on vacation say cumulatively 5months in a year. Then regarding the additional certification, is it advisable starting here in Nigeria or applying to study over there, cos applying for another degree in Nigeria would further increase my age and decrease my cumulative score. My apologies if my questions are tiring. Thank you for your response. There will be no complications in choosing your spouse as non accompanying dependent. The reason that is needed is to give you the approximate points you'll get to enter the pool. It doesn't stop him from visiting using visiting visa. For him to be given PR anytime he may wish latter in future, you'll have to sponsor him then. The study route to Canada isn't as straightforward as the Express entry is which is one of the reasons few persons who tried study route and could not get Visa to have a look at their chances with Express entry. Having said that, you could start a certificate program here in Nigeria to give you points for two or more certificates. An option to study French and take the exam is also available for you as that will give you more points as well. All the best |

Gec8: I appreciate the response, Kingspaco.
So you suggest I apply immediately and later inform the CIC? or Are you suggesting I wait till she writes ielts and do the WES? My point is that if you really want to include her in your application, you need to get married even if it's just court marriage you do, that will be enough and I hope you have enough evidence to prove to CIC that it is not an arranged marriage. Evidence such as messages you exchanged , WhatsApp chats, call logs, pictures you've taken together during one of your outings, etc. If you are sure you can prove it's not an arranged marriage, then my advice will be for you to process the application as a single person first, after your submission with AOR, you can do a court wedding and inform CIC. Doing this will not need her to write IELTS and probably WES as well. Although WES would be needed if she wants to study in Canada. |

Canadianjjc: Hello house, i have been following the migration threads consistently for a while now but had to open a new account to ask all my questions, cos my case seems complicated. My spouse works in a multinational company and due to the nature of his job, travels around the world a lot, he wouldn't want to apply for canadian pr/ migration cos he is okay with his job at least for now. We decided I should relocate with the kids and start a professional life in Canada and expose then to a better living condition, I am a Bsc holder with a couple of work experiences, no IELTS score yet and I am 30 years old. What is the best migration option for me considering hubby cannot apply for pr and would only come visiting if we eventually relocate whenever he is on leave. Please experienced advice needed. Thank you Your case isn't complicated in any way. What you'll need to do is to check your eligibility through this link by filling your details. Remember to select your spouse as non accompanying. However, your Bsc alone will not give you enough point considering your age as well, so you'll most like need to do other things to gain more points. E.g Studying French and taking French exams, doing a Pgd or a Masters program, BCS (IT) certificate program can add points as well. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspMake use of the tool to know your points for a start. |

Gec8: Goodmorning guys.
Hope we are all fine?
QUICK ONE.
My CRS score currently stands at 463, I'm 30 and I turn 31 by June which means the score may reduce if i dont enter the pool to make the draw slated for April 17 now and wait till my next birthday. I have a fiance and I want to use my CRS for the both of us.
Whats the House's advice?
1. Do i enter the pool (at my current age which gives me the 463 score) and get the PR for single person, then begin processing for her because by the time she writes the IELts and do the WES, I may get to my next birthday which may reduce the CRS score both both of us.
OR
2. Do I wait it out while she writes her IELTS and gets the WES so we run it together as a couple, which means the CRS score will reduce due to an age increase?
Between options 1 and 2, what do you advice??
Thirdly, if I chose option 1, and after getting the PR for single applicant, how soon can me ad my fiance process hers and how long do you reckon it will take?
Truth is I dont want to go to Canada without my boo, that's why we are in this fix. So we thought to ask the house.
PLEASE can I also add that I did my WES in 2018 and I wasnt asked about anything concerning WAEC. I hope there is no problem oh?
We welcome every input. Thanks. First, timeline for spouse sponsorship is anything upward of 12 months. I'm sure you wouldn't want to go through that long wait. If you want to include your boo to your CRS, get married immediately after submitting your application and inform CIC of the change in your family composition. @463 even if you get deducted 5 points after ypur birthday, you're still in a very good position to get ITA almost immediately. The decision is yours to make. |

maplemom: Please I have a similar issue. I had a son before I got married and I intend to take him along with me. He bears his father's surname though the dad hasn't been in his life for years. How do I go about this to avoid issues.
Please help. Thank you. If your son is under 22 years of age, you can add him to your application. Since he has a different surname to your other child/children (assuming), you'll need to provide his birth certificate and other things that would proof to CIC that he has always been under your care from birth. Some of the things to show could be His school fees receipts, any medical bill receipts, etc. Truth is nobody knows how CIC judge some cases but you have to show them enough evidence that he's your son. An affidavit could go a long way too. Finally you need to explain in details on your LOE( Letter of explanation). I think that should be enough but don't fail to declare you have him and expect to take him to Canada in future. |

I don't have my original result, will WES accept statement of result? My Waec and Neco certificate in tact. 1. There are other materials you can make use of. You may want to chat chat up one of us here @Wassenewest on 08026543600. He's been helping people with writing. 2. WES accepts statement of Result, so you're good to go with that. I seek for advice for a remark I got a go ahead from just one. I have searched and got only one case where listening was upgraded. Don't know what to do. Please guys I need advice should I go for a remark? First attempt LRWS 8.5, 6.5, 6.0, 7.5 Second attempt LRWS 7.5, 7.5, 7, 7.5.
I'm kind of certain I did well in the Listening and anticipated an 8.5, what could possibly go wrong? I'm so sorry about your result. Don't give up just yet. I'll advice you register for the exam again. Just as you said, Listening hardly gets upgraded, reason being that it's objective and answers are straightforward, unlike writing and speaking. |

Or is there any other evaluating body better for us? WES will be faster for you. Even though the timeline has been extended from the 20 business days to 35 days now, it's still a better option amongst the other bodies. |

umarmai: Hello All I have my ECA out from WES (Just a Degree) with my IELTS score of L8,R7.5,S7.5 and W7. My present score is about 421. I am considering an online diploma from Brentwood open learning college which will take around 4 Months to complete and increase my CRS score to 452. My question is will WES evaluate an online diploma? Or what other options can I consider for ITA before year end. WES do consider online degrees if the school is a recognised institution. Also there is BCS (IT) program someone shared on here, I think the registration ends by July and Exams is by September, result comes out by Dec. That would another if you're comfortable with reading IT related topics to take the exams. Another option is CIMA program. I think it's an Accounting related program. All the best |

Yes, you dont necessarily have to submit 6 months bank statement of account when you use gift deed plus your letter of non indebtedness. Just print a page of bank account statement that carries the transfer of the huge sum gifted. |
