FirstTImeUser: Hello
Asking this for a brother
He has a masters degree from the US. However he has no other job experience apart from his one year nysc. Can he claim work experience of one year that predates his masters programme without having issues post ita and post aor whole claiming points for the masters certificate? If the one year NYSC experience is within the last 10 years, then he can claim points for it without any issues. The only thing he should worry about is if the PPA will be willing to give him reference letter for it. |

BYACHEM: Good day all, Please I need quick response for ECA using WES. My fiancée just graduated from unilag and would like to evaluate her master's degree but the certificate is not out yet. She has decided to use her statement of result for the ECA. Please is it neccessary to send letter of attestation with her transcript or her statement of result and transcript is enough for the evaluation with wes. I will really appreciate feedback with similar experience. Thank you so much. You dont have to add letter of attestation to WES, just statement of result is enough. |

Peece: Good afternoon guys,(silent reader)
Congrats to all the PPR clinchers and thanks to everyone here for information sharing. Please i have a question: AOR was January 10th 2019, as at then i had 11 months validity on my International passport. Based on my cic profile supposed completion date is July 10th but my passport validity will be 5 months by then. So, since i am not sure when i'll get PPR, i was thinking of renewing my passport and raising cse to inform them to be on the safe side. But i was told by an immigration officer that i wont be able to renew my passport if it has over 6 months validity. That means i'l have to wait and hope PPR comes after 15 June, because it looks like i cant start the renewal process until then since the passport is to expire on Dec 15th. i would really appreciate any ideas on best approach in this case?
Thank you You could still make use of your current passport if renewal is going to give you unnecessary stress. Someone on the sister thread said she was able to land in Canada with a week to passport expiry date. You still have a choice to make though but that's my opinion. |

I just sent a copy of my certificate to wes via fax and confused on what next to do, although i know i have to contact my school to send my transcript and certificate to wes directly but what I'm confused of is would WES message me about the certificate i sent via my mail.
Thanks WES will update your account when they receive your documents. All you need to do is to be checking your WES account to see if there is any update. Remember to make use of your WES Reference number when you contact your school for your transcript. |

Industrialist: I worked for 2 years with a start-up at the time as a pioneer staff. We were paid in cash. What to do with regards to reference letter? When you're collecting your Reference letter from the start up, ask them to include in the letter that you were paid in cash. If you have the pay slips, add them buttress your claim. |
