For scalping, what's the risk apetite like,low or high? In terms of capital that is. Or it depends?

I ask because it seems like it is a regular occurrence for scalping patterns, one moment you see the staircase, the next moment, na one very long red candle that doesnt look like it was caused by a scalper selling.
