What is the total capacity in barrel(bbl) of a rectangular tank 5 meters in height knowing that it will hold 200 leters per foot?

Solution:
1 Litre per foot= 304.8m
200 Lpf (200×304.8 ) = 60960m
60960×5 (H of rect) = 304800m cubic
since 1bbl = 0.158m cubic
304800/0.158= 1929112 bbl

There are some questions I have been ask in several interview as a mechanical engineer, let's share it here. The questions are
What is the different between 4 stroke and 2 stroke engine?
What is the firing order of a 4 cylinder engine?
What are the laws of Thermodynamics.

Four stroke engine performs 4 cycle process of gas (Intake, Compression, combustion and exhaust)
The firing order of 4 cyclinder engine adopts the 4 cycles process though applying carnot cycle process to reducess energy loss by adiabatic process

YES. It is not really needed. Some companies allow medoicre minds conduct their interview, that's why they go off rail.
A normal GT interview should be all about questions surrounding, Leadership, Teamwork, ability to learn quickly e.t.c.
Its a Graduate Trainee. Its suppose to be for peeps who just graduated from school.
However, the situation of things in the country has forced the hands of our employers, that's why we have it as it is today.
Anyways, What it should be isn't what it is.

Okay, I buy that explanation for GT but I'm skeptical if it's applicable to OPT... Technicality counts in engineering

The people saying English is not a necessity are actually the ones prolonging this matter. There is nothing wrong if you make a mistake and you are corrected. No one is perfect and we are all learning.

But it becomes a concern that one makes a mistake and is being corrected but he/she refuses correction and instead, tries to prove he is right.

It's even of greater concern that a graduate will say English is not a necessity in Engineering, knowing fully well that 1)NNPC isn't recruiting only Engineers. 2)a good communication skill takes you far in life. We are all GT's/OT's, and thus, your technical experience is not really needed. It is your ability to COMMUNICATE to them why they should hire you amongst your pairs.

If you are corrected, it's for your good. Accept it and move on so we can discuss better things here

Thanks for the information,for those interested in the pay,is just 250k per month,though the person works with the account section but I think it should be the basic ,after the on going promotion exam/interview, their pay will rise to 300k and other allowance that I can't mention here because he didn't give me the exact figures,the person that said that they pay 2.5m every January for housing/security is very correct.,I also believe this recruitment will end this year because after this promotion exercise there will be no more trainees/New intakes since the last people they recruited in the year 2012,will move to other ranks

i dnt really believe in that zoning/quota system because there is no way they cn employ sb dat is nt qualified leaving-out the qualified one's in the name of quota system or wat hv u.

You should prepare very hard to be the best in your state if you want to join NNPC. You've reached the stage where people are taken based on the quota for their state. Its now a race between you and other candidates from your state, so if it is 2 candidates per state, try to be amongst the 2. It's been like that for decades cos that's the only way some states won't feel marginalized. If you are from places like the north east, you stand a better chance. I would say you should pray for favour as well because just one person on that panel can be the difference between you getting the job and you coming back for information on this thread next year. I wish you the best.

My opnion: The technical skill you have should count', ability to grasp, learn fast and team spirit are what they will look out for.... But do not forget , quota system and zoning play their own part too
