BlueRayDick: I get. Most likely people were expecting him to call his uncle a bad leader. But the truth is we actually don't have good leaders and his uncle is part of them.
I saw Reno talking bullshiit about the issue that Davido should not be demarketing the country. He's talking as if the rest of the world don't have access to info to know how messed up things are in Nigeria. These people read our papers, have access to our news over the internet and even their rating agencies rate our financial institutions low based on economic realities..... This was one of the replies, everybody know wetin dey vex them. As for Reno, they'll need an escavator remove that Amoda phallus deep down his throat.

BlueRayDick: Why are people gassing Davido over his statement on the podcast over the state of Nigerian economy? 🤷♂️
It's not like he said anything wrong na. Even Tinubu at the G20 summit was listing the multifaceted problems Nigeria is facing to world leaders. So why are people vexing for Davido for saying Nigerian economy is in shambles and we do not have good leaders? You know how e be with us. What he said is the truth, and if they were expecting him to name his uncle and late uncle, they're in for a long thing |

raumdeuter: Even cutting off families for religious beliefs is silly. We have a common saying that A father's faith will not save the child.
In my extended family growing up, we have every variety from traditional worshippers, to white garment priests to Moslems to deeper life, mfm
Same thing with intertribal marriages. Na your bed
Though same sex was not a thing when I was growing up and there might have been a different reaction if a family member comes out openly as LGBT My family is also a cocktail of religious practice, e get one Christmas in the mid 90s when my uncle brought chicken Peppersoup to our house and my mother was scared to eat because the man na better traditionalist, my papa turn am to auction 'one delicious plate of chicken Peppersoup, going? Going?' As I raise my hand because nothing concern me concern religion even back then, the man shout GONE!!!! my mother's face was wide with shock as me and my old man devoured the peppersoup, nobody tell her make she chop the next one wey the man bring. Then as for LGBTQ, I was exposed to it very early albeit unknowingly. This was during one of my midterm breaks and all of us dey outside dey play ball, when police enter house with one fair boy, I remember he used to be a mechanic, dem just storm the compound whisk one of my neighbors comot. It was my dad and one of my egbon that went and bailed him out, I ask my mama wetin happen wey dem arrest am, she replied with 'Shut up, go and read you your books' anything wey concern that kind response, you dare not ask twice. When I did Thanksgiving for my promotion a few years ago, na hin she tell me say Mukailat the neighbor attempted to burst the yansh of Enioluwa the mechanic, e invite am go hotel na just the say boy dey younger so he was able to fight him off. I say so all these ones happened in the 90s, she said even in the 70s and 80s, Gaybriels were present although they concealed themselves. Whole thing came as a huge shock to me |

Wout Weghorst BLAMES Ten Hag for his underwhelming stint at Manchester United.
He believes his lack of goals came down to the system employed by his then-manager and he was used as a foil to get the best out of others on the pitch.

Theflint1: Well going by your logic of where one's animality ends is where another person starts, what if the army guys' humanity starts to kick in after 1hr him administering brutality and his victim begging?
We've seen too many videos of army guys being straight up animals to expect that a simple appeal to conscience would set them aright. It was worth a try, especially as a high ranking officer was involved, it has worked for many countless times. I hope and pray he gets the justice he deserves |

His lawyer said he cleared his vehicle for the General to pass but the General blocked him and started brutalizing him. The video clearly shows him still in his car strapped with his seat belt saying 'How did I bash your car' ×3 after the first slap or punch or whatever from the corporal the next thing you hear is Jesus, Jesus, he's sick he's not feeling fine, then the General enters. The people are animals, I am an animal as well but my animality stops where yours begins. Whether you like it or not, coming out of that car and begging them MAY have saved him from this scenario, I've been on the dishing and on the receiving end of this brutality, no matter how hard a man's heart is we're all human beings at the end of the day. I pray he gets justice because no one deserves to be treated that way, but he should not let them gas him that NA is ass and won't clap him. |

nihilistjnr: As someone who has entered the ring several times since I was 18 and had(and won) a white collar fight as recently as 2022, I have a degree of sympathy for him, but he knew the risks.
There's a common saying in any boxing gym - you don't 'play' boxing. I've lost a personal friend to this sport. I've been knocked out myself and I have sent somebody to hospital. I used to go to bed before a fight dreaming about knocking someone's head clean off his shoulders the next day... Sometimes I used to try to do that even in sparring.
Nobody really wants their opponents to suffer long-lasting damage most times, but you also have to be a little bit mad to compete in a sport that encourages the contestants to inflict head trauma on each other. He knew the risks. The game is the game. It's the same thing with the Chris Eubank v Michael Watson fight in 91. I saw a clip recently of Chris crying and pleading for forgiveness, but Watson what a man! He just echoed what you said here about everything being ok, game is game no hard feelings |
