Obi is coming Yeah, Obi is the man that can give PBAT a run for his money. PBAT is a renowned grassroot politician with a solid political structure & war chest to win elections. But he'll struggle in 2027. He hasn't done well in his first tenure to merit being re-elected. What'll save him from defect is the incumbency factor & lack of free, fair & credible elections in the country. |

Melezenawii: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DWTeBmqGV/ Very ungrateful statement. Obi was the greatest thing that happened to the Labour Party. If not for electoral manipulations, ethno-religious sentiments etc., perhaps he would've won the elections. For the first time in the history of Nigeria, a candidate without grassroot structures unruffled the feathers of political heavy weights. Tinubu was defeated in Lagos, the FCT captured & several candidates won legislative elections. LP won governorship elections in Abia State. So what's the Party talking about now? |

Prosperous111: Lol, the US strikes is not that effective but it works in checkmating them and making them reconsider a strike on Christmas day and there was no terrorist attacks on boxing day either....
This is why I said the attack wasn't effective, if the attack was a success we would have seen an assessment of the impacts in all areas strikes, there would be body counts littered around because tomahawk cruise missiles is not a joke, it's precise and have a little crater after hit... That's not the point, the point is, we would have seen images of all the strikes with their body, weapons and their motorcycle they move around with... I'm glad they got checkmate.
Gumi would have instruct them after the attack to lay low or split up, then they know the attacks wouldn't end on 25 so they will try to find a leverage, they will kidnap a lot of people to avoid getting bombed, but they forgot they're not dealing with Nigeria government anymore, the yanks got a register for collateral damages and doesn't give a flying Bleep about civilian casualties Some sensitive security issues are better left undiscussed. The images of the strikes confirms targets were hit. If the terrorists are still alive or not jittery, wouldn't you see them making noise online? The problem is with the State actors. They need to do more to avoid terrorists setting up camps easily in any part of the country. |

malali: Nigerians are watching as Dangote is openly trying to turn petrol supply into a cartel
Business vs. Cartel
A business is built by competing. It creates value by offering better products, prices, or services, and it survives only as long as customers freely choose it. Regulation is accepted as part of the social contract, and failure is always possible.
A cartel is built by eliminating competition. It seeks profit through control, collusion, intimidation, regulatory capture, or barriers that prevent others from entering the market. Regulation is treated as an enemy, not a safeguard.
If Dangote is the corruption Czar he claims to be, Where was this energy when he was getting subsidized dollars from Emefiele. Who is the most corrupt Nigerian in modern times. Building a 750-Unit estate with stolen funds. Dangote did not report him to ICPC. They did business together amicably. We need to be serious in this country. Why must we be importing refined PMS & paying bridging fees to marketers when there's a refinery producing PMS locally? Are we not penny wise, pound foolish? Without tackling corruption in this Nation, we may not achieve meaning progress. |

It's sad. He died in active service. A lot of questions but no answers.
Is there no functional health clinic in the government house? Does the state have emergency services including ambulance services for resuscitation & rescue of persons with critical health conditions.
In what condition & how's he transferred from government house to FMC, Yenagoa? What's the immediate resuscitative measures in government house?
Healthcare is the primary responsibility of government & officials should discharge their functions effectively. If a deputy governor can collapse in office & couldn't be resuscitated, then there's no hope for a common man. Healthcare is expensive, government should ensure universal health coverage. There's need for adequate budgetary provision & development of the private health sector to complement the public health sector. There's also need for public-private partnership & collaborations to ensure quality healthcare delivery to the people. |

It has always been a matter of priority for all regions of Nigeria. You're correct. Their priorities are wrong: emphasis on religious activities & politics over development. No economic development plans, high illiteracy rates, lack of family planning, insecurity etc. are problems they need to tackle. Bad governance & poor leadership is a problem. PMB's 8 years in office was used to emphasize tribal dominance over national development. The consequences are what we're facing today. |

Tinubu you see your life? When you were going up and down discrediting and disparaging Jonathan because he is from the minority, and your tribal bigoted friends and brothers cheered you, little did you know that you'll be in the same shoes.
Where is the professor, the pastor, the coffin bearers and emergency lovers of Nigeria today? Suddenly they all went mute because it is their tribal man in the seat of power.
The South South people were so foolish that they have to sacrifice their son just to please Nigeria and keep it running as a country. It wouldn't have happened if it were any of the big 3, there would have been bloodshed than relinquish power even in the face of massive rigging by Jegga, the APC with all their importation of foreigners from the desert countries to help them ferment trouble to win elections.
Karma knows everyone's address. How're the South South people foolish? Please mind your language. PBAT & Co. used the problem of insecurity esp. the kidnapping of Chibok girls, attempt to remove fuel subsidy etc. to campaign against PGEJ then. They promoted PMB as the Messiah & ethno-religious politics was promoted. PGEJ didn't want to waste lives because his victory would've result in killing of Southerners & Christians in the North with reprisal attacks in the South. PMB & now PBAT have nothing to offer this country except sufferings, nepotism & more insecurity problems including genocide of Christians. Bribing or intimidating governors to join the APC is a futile exercise. He can't win any free, credible & fair elections in this country unless they're planning to rig elections. He's too weak, incompetent & cowardly. The Nation is burning, lives wasted, students kidnapped & schools closed in the North & the C-in-C is missing in action. Was the current ruling party not in opposition before now? Ask yourself how they managed the party till they got to power. It's respect for leadership. Tell me one person that is highly respected in PDP leadership today? They're all leaders in their own state, so whose fault? Is it Tinubu?
When APC was in opposition, Tinubu was regarded as National Leader. Someone more than 85% members respect. So he was able to stabilize the party.
This is what is lacking in PDP. You understand the politics. The major problem with PDP is lack of a National leader. Some members feel they're larger than the party. They believe they're entitled to lead through the party irrespective of the circumstances. Now that the South South mugus are no longer funding the party, they're in a fix. Most of them, PDP is not in charge of their states. They're now light weight politicians. Adolphus Wabara doesn't have much grassroot supporters, LP is incharge of Abia State & the Governor is doing well. They're all paying for betraying PGEJ in 2015. Some of them have roamed around other parties without getting lucrative contractions/appointments or where to settle. Some believe Wike is their problem but he's the one funding the party & they betrayed him during the Presidential primaries in 2022. Where's Atiku they collected money & supported then?
