ok .. her name is zanifa, met here in the UK, when I was a student lecturer in a film school, she was looking for an apartment, and there was a room free in the shared apartment I was living at thehome time. The bus came and she left and I began to call her once a while initially with the pretence of asking if she still wanted to take the place, but she said she got somewhere else which was close to me but abit more expensive. She was roommates with a white Irish nurse. And so I started to work on her mind ... I knew how difficult it is for a black woman to get a black man abroad so I knew I was the prize. I kept making her feel cared for asking the right questions at theall right time ... God knows I only wanted to get the yams and she was a formidable challenge. About a week later we planned a date and boom we met at a restaurant, I was all dressed up, hair cut and clean and I had my swagger on flick.

She was dressed nicely too and after the date we decided to go for a walk ... tip, women abroad love you to take them for a walk just do it and you get a bonus point in their heart. She stared cursing me out, telling me how she shouldn't have let me come into her house and how it was a mistake and blah blah. I didn't say much I just let her talk and she Said she never want to see me again yada yada! And she hung up ... that day I needed to rest so I put on my xbox 360 and played red dead redemption online ... forgetting everything for the moment ... about 2 hours passed my phone rang, guys ! Guess who? It was zanifa on the caller I'd, I was like boom another dose of insults but I picked the call ... and I heard her voice ... she said... come and open the door I am downstairs .. instantly I looked through my window and I saw her at my door .. my little head went to battle mode instantly.. gosh the guy was being hyperactive! And how I had to rush downstairs to open the door while trying to play it off like there wasn't a solid wood dangling below.

She walked in and into my room upstairs and I followed ... She sat on my bed and I sat on my revolving chair and continued playing my game.. then she said so is it me playing game she came so see? I instantly turned to lock eyes with her and she had the look! I knew it was on ... another round of knacking started haha ... when she had finish using me hehe she got dressed and left ... this time I didn't use a rubber as well,why bother ? And after that day we start in touch but my schooling and work and her work was always in the way of making time for us to bash each others head in.. and slowly we drifted apart. Zanifa an african queen I met and she burnt herself into my memory for life. If I see her today laidis, it's on!

I've dated 2 none Nigerian African girls. One a South African (now an ex) and the other a Tanzanian girl (the one I really want to marry). So far, They're both sweet in their respective ways but the only challenge I'm facing right now is how to get married to the Tanzanian girl and reside in her country with her because of her job which we both agreed she should keep.

Her country has a very strict law for immigrants and have Nigeria on her blacklist. Meaning people from here are required to come to Tanzania only through referral visa or what we call 'visa by invitation'. And marrying a Tanzanian woman doesn't amount to having a citizenship status like it is in other African countries, and this has been our greatest challenge right now but we both really want to end up together.

I will be glad to hear any advice you have for us please. Thank you.

I am going to make this as brief as possible. I have noticed a trend with the reputation Nigerians seem to have with other Africans. I am currently dating a girl from Zimbabwe and we both are resident in England. The day I asked her out, she was initially a bit skeptical and told me her father had told her to avoid ending up with a Nigerian, I asked her why and she told me she had no idea.
We started dating and I began to get an idea of the reputation we had, obviously she was scared I had a wife and some kids back in Nigeria, I had to convince her that this was not the case and that I genuinely liked her. Another time she told her friend from Zambia that she was dating a Nigerian and was told to be careful while dealing with me as a Nigerian.
It’s not all bad though, obviously we also have a reputation of being smooth talkers, she told me that we Nigerians have a way with words and that can make us irresistible at times. Who else has experienced this?

Be that different Nigerian and change her sterotype mentlaity so that even when you are out of sight, she would beat her chest anywhere and say that a Nigerian made a positive impact in her lifetime.

Hello guys, there's something really bothering me.

And it's the fact that after spending 5years studying a course, i still can't find fulfilment within my soul.

I initially applied for computer science in a federal university, which I was denied.

Instead, the university gave me estate management and valuation.

Even though I never liked the course, some of my Friends have been urging me to go on, claiming that I'll love the course as time goes on.

5years later, I'm in my final year, yet I feel like the course I'm studying was never meant for me.

Right now, I'm in 2:1 grade and yet I felt emptiness deep inside of me.

Even though I've been trying to self study computer science and programming languages (I started with web development with the hope of moving to android development via the react native path).

I still felt like it's not enough and I'll still be disadvantaged when seeking for jobs in the software industry.

Right now, I wish I could turn back the hands of time and had rejected my current course while rewriting Jamb (I actually got the cut off mark for the course, but was still denied).

I'll have loved to go for a second degree in computer science but, my parents fortunately, cannot afford to sponsor me for another degree as I still have like 5 juniors.

Being the first and only son of the family, right now, I'm completely lost.

I'll be glad if anyone here could listen to my story, and at least drop some words of encouragement for me.

Better finish with your estate management course in peace and get out of that university. Just keep up with the steady cause of doing more and more professional courses if you can afford them after you graduate cos that's the way forward now. Just be good at what you do that's the koko. Even a Secondary school leaver can do a professional course and be a professional overnight.
