You are right o my brother, it is what is called shifted aggression that triggers toxic interaction with already made negative mindset about people they are interacting with, if only they are wise no matter what they are going thru if they can put it aside and converse positively, with mutual respect and constructively they will directly or indirectly bring about forces of nature to work in their favor to stir up their various destiny helpers to action to play positive parts in their lives that will change them for good forever. There are a lot of employers of labours , multi millionares , powerful people who go thru many nairaland comments daily in their free time and because of their humility they just comment casually but observe more and try to avoid arguments but look out for exceotionally good people to associate with and add value to their lives while such people add value to the places they get recommended too. And spiritually too it's best to be humble, good and have positive non toxic mindset.

TravelRe: Japan Or Singapore by kishimi8(m): 12:21am On Dec 30, 2021
Gerrard59:
1. Japan is cheaper especially outside of the Kanto and Kansai region. If you get admitted into Kyushu or Hokkaido University, you will reside in prefectures that way affordable than Tokyo or Osaka but limited jobs though. Singapore is ridiculously expensive for a student relying on self sponsorship if you're not from a rich family.

https://www.nairaland.com/4321723/6-countries-study-top-universities

See that thread? I posted it few years ago even before graduation as I had researched everything. Did you see Singapore? Did you see Japan? I even broke it down to the naira, which has devalued yet the fees remain the same in Yen till date. Also, I don't think the Japanese government will increase the fee any time soon.

2. Since it's robotics, Japan is better. Some Singaporeans travel to Japan for certain degrees such as robotics if they don't get into American or Canadian universities. Also, although Singapore's universities (NUS and NTU) are well ranked, Japanese universities are highly ranked overall across all trio higher education ranking agencies (QS, ARWU and TheTimesHigherEducation).

3. Japan. If you don't have a high 2.1 as minimum, I really doubt you will get admitted into a university in Singapore. You can omit the Imperial Universities in Japan (Japan's equivalent of the ivy league) and still get into good schools - Kobe University, Chiba University, Yokohoma University, Nagasaki University etc. I had good grades and publications, so I got admitted into an Imperial University.

4. Japan. Ridiculously low unemployment rate (although lower salaries compared to western countries but hey, lower cost of living too. Tokyo is cheaper than New York or London yet more safer than both combined). There are jobs, just know the language as it offers more job opportunities. Please get into a national university as it is cheaper, you will be offered free Japanese language classes (tied to your graduation sef) and more job opportunities especially if it's an Imperial University.

When I'm chanced, I'll outline the entire process in getting admitted into a Japanese university and the visa application process at the Japanese embassy in Abuja (in the Japan thread on Nairaland). I'll give you a mention.
Please whats the title of the japan thread ,

blackbriar:
Thanks but i do not agree with your assertions, and as such i will speak for Japan.
1. Japan is relatively affordable. tuition in National universities is 600,000 yen annually. and masters programs are 2 years research program.
2. Japan offers competitive international education. do not take my word for it, simply google and check the QS world university rankings.
3. All schools in the world will take your money. The issue is what would you learn. Masters programs in Japan are research based not course work.
4. everyone is racist. English and factory work becomes the only job option available to you if you refuse to even learn basic japanese. in the IT field in which i suppose robotics belongs to , you don't need to be fluent to get jobs in that field. Infact with a college degree and experience , it is far more easier for you to get a job in IT field and in Factory. I know some many foreigners working for micro pressor and semi conductor companies in Saitama and Hiroshima, with basic japanese language ability. if also in doubt check LinkedIn Japanese job page.

In summary, would it be tough, hell YES,
Would it be worth it, SUPER HELL YES.
Would you look back and say i am glad i chose Japan to study... HELL YES with all the struggles japan will throw at you.
Bro side question , PLS, at 32yrs is it possible to get a MSC in Japan?

dont complain later on if hausa people fill up the army if this goes on ,
thats how you guys discourage your people and end up blaming fulani for your woes,
many want to join the army but dont have sponsors to pave way for them, free shortservice oppurtuniy is here you are all talking rubbish

Charmingrascal:
Fayemi has turned himself to an unscrupulous character lately.

A society full of selfish thinkers can never progress.
The annoying part is that Corps members who are not willing to join the Army should serve in their communities without being paid.

His children should lead, that will motivate others especially Ekiti indigenes.

RomanceRe: My Girl Thinks I Should Give Her Stipends From My Monthly Salary by kishimi8(m): 2:44pm On Dec 30, 2018
limbolimbo:
I recently showed interest in a neighbour of mine, I know she likes me, but she is a very traditional person, she wants us to go through the full cycle before anything further. But something started giving me a reason to worry about here mindset towards relationships.

She celebrated her birthday last month, and I got her a very expensive wrist watch, it cost me 94k, she doesn't know this. I also got her a really nice cake, cost me 10k, so in all I spent over a hundred thousand on her birthday. I know for some this may not seem like much or may seem like too much, I think what really matters is tat I was fine with it and could afford it. Within the same period, she would indirectly ask me for funds, she said she was broke, I could have helped her with this but I felt it was way above my position, as I am only a "To Be Boyfriend", to offer her all this after spending a 100k on gifts for her birthday.

A week ago we had a very interesting discussion, about the role of the man and the woman in a relationship, she said that "A man should be responsible for the upkeep of his Girlfriend, he should save a portion from his salary monthly which he should give to his girlfriend for upkeep". I thought that was nonsense and I quickly called her out on it, all I can say now is that I don't think we would be dating anymore, because she took it very personally, she said she thinks she would suffer if she goes into a relationship with me, because I am already showing signs of being stingy.

If I keep writing I would not end, so my question here is, is she right? Should I have instead given her the cash rather than the gift? Because to me it now seems she doesn't see the value of the gift and would rather have cash. I want adult opinions please.

(Please note that I am not trying to paint this lady as an evil person, she is really sweet, loving, caring, she loves getting attention and doesn't have any problem in showing me how she really feels about me, overall she is a great lady.)
Had to login to reply this.

Had one stupid girl try to pull this shit on me saying I earn soso and soso so she should be getting monthly stipends from me.

It seems like it's the new mentality for this generation

CrimeThe Crisis Rocking The National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS, Deji Adeyanju by kishimi8(op): 6:58am On Oct 23, 2018
On the crisis rocking the National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS, Deji Adeyanju writes thus via his twitter handle:

Good morning Nigerians.
I never thought a day will come when I will have to agree with any decision Buhari has taken. On the NHIS thing, I regretfully have to admit that he was right.

We had all condemned the reinstatement of the NHIS Boss who was accused of corruption.
THREADNHIS started functioning in 2005.
It’s 13yrs old this year.
NHIS covers 3million Nigerians. It’s about Health Care but because of corruption, the agency has not performed well. Politicians turned NHIS into an ATM.

Let me explainHMOs -Health Maintenance ORG’s all private companies owned by politicians are the real problem of NHIS. They are middle men between NHIS and the hospitals. They have so enthroned corruption to another level in the place.

The HMOs receive money from NHIS on behalf of the people to pay hospitals so that Nigerians on the NHIS scheme can enjoy medical services but they refuse to pay the hospitals and corner the money. NHIS gives the HMOs 3 months in advance to pay hospitals but they were not paying.

What they do with the NHIS money:
A. They fix it in banks to accrue interest.
B. They buy forex And do trading with it.
C. They take loans using it as collateral. When banks know you are getting massive funds from NHIS, they give you 10 times the amount in your account.

So instead of the HMOs to pay the hospitals as agreed on time, they are heavily indebted to all hospitals nationwide. Crippling healthcare services nationwide. They owe National hospital alone N400million.
It’s a major cartel.

There are 57 HMOs. They are the cartel at NHIS. They work hand in hand with every Minister of Health, Board Members, the Executive Secretary(EX) & politicians in government to run the place to the ground.

Apparently this new EX refused to play ball & they declared war on him.

Someone early this year contacted me from NHIS that the EX is destroying the agency, etc and that they were appealing to my organization to come to their rescue. I told him I needed to do my Due diligence but I never did. We all joined later to crucify the man.

So just last week I coincidently ran into a friend that works at NHIS and he started briefing me of all the dirty things going on there. It’s really depressing. The things I heard made me wonder if this country can ever be great.

I will explain all that is going on there.

So this EX appointed by Buhari came and found out that there was massive corruption going on at NHIS & he wanted to stop it but the cartel “HMOs” declared war on him. The HMOs said he can’t stop the norm & teamed up with politicians in Buhari’s government to start fighting him.

The HMOs got the support of the Board Chairman of NHIS and other members of the Board who are all politicians. Got the support of the Minister of Health & other politicians. What was the crime of this EX guy? He wanted to block where politicians are eating.

The issue they had with the EX guys were:

They were not paying hospitals.
Many of their licenses had expired since 2013 & he was asking then to renew before they get disbursements of money, etc.

One of the conditions the EX guy gave was that every HMOS must go to the hospitals to get a letter of non indebtedness signed by the CMD before they will get funds from the agency.

The hospitals were happy with the new development but HMOs were unhappy.

The NHIS is so strategically important to Nigerians. In a working country, every citizen should be captured in the scheme. NHIS pays Federal, State & even private hospitals through HMOs. Nigerians on the scheme are the main beneficiaries.

Many workers are on the scheme. NHIS also pay Military & Police hospitals nationwide. The police alone have over 800k officers and their dependents on the scheme.

The ministry of health and politicians are the number 1 problem of NHIS in Nigeria. They use NHIS as an ATM. Because the EX guy stopped them, he was suspended on allegations of corruption which many of us believed because of media trial. EFCC then investigated him.The reason he was reinstated was because EFCC did not find him wanting according to my friend that works there. He said after his reinstatement, the EX guy became more tough on the HMOs and the Board & the Minister began to plot his removal again.

The EX guy was just suspended again on the eve of delisting many unqualified HMOS. A Pre-emptive move by the NHIS Board & the Minister. The union is also on the payroll of the HMOs.

The HMOs are the real cartel at NHIS.HMOs were angry that the EX instituted a forensic audit of NHIS finances. Audit discovered that N46billion of NHIS money were stashed in different banks. These are people’s money ooo. The HMOs say the EX is using EFCC, CBN, AG, Accountant General & Asset Recovery to fight them.

Our national & State hospitals are under funded and many of them survive on the NHIS money. For instance, FMC Asaba got only about N18million from the budget last year & they require over N10million to power the hospital with diesel. So how will they survive without NHIS funding?

So if the HMOs take money from NHIS and refuse to give the hospitals, they are destroying our health sector. The Union, the Board and the Ministry of Health should stop the rubbish they are doing to cripple our health sector.

We @ConcernedNIG will come into this matter fully.

PoliticsRe: State, Community Police: Senate To Amend Constitution To Allow Its Creation by kishimi8(m): 11:04pm On Jul 03, 2018
So finally the real reason they killings have been happening is out in the open

stage 1. create distrust of the administration by creating the illusion of killer herdsmen

stage 2. kill many on both sides esp in the middle belt where the peace is fragile.

stage 3. create a bill to pass the state police bill. using the insecurity as an excuse for speedy passage and to strong arm the president into signing it.

stage 4. use the state police to rig elections enmasse and eject president.

stage 5. victory and the looting continues.
