Sweetlemon: Ok. This is how it all went.
I arrived there Friday evening. Was welcomed by grandparents, parents, and siblings with smiling faces but questions dancing in their eyes.
Dinner was served and everyone from grandpa to the last born had questions for me. E remain small I for piss for pant. I answered the questions truthfully and to the best of my knowledge.
By Saturday, his sisters were complimenting my fashion sense and asking for tips!
Had a woman-woman talk with grandma and mama. They said they were relieved they could see that I loved their boy (thanks to those who advised me to show my feelings for him) then had some other private discussions.
Spent the rest of the evening on a couch with him till 2am then we went to our separate bedrooms. (whatever you guys are thinking we did, remove sex from ya minds! But I don’t know how much longer I will keep saying that o!)
Went with the family to church Sunday morning. Then grandma and mama asked me to prepare Afang soup to add to the dishes for the family reunion that evening. Then his cousins, aunties, and uncles started trooping in……….and so did my sister, brother and cousins! Before I knew what was happening, he held my hands and in the presence of all, with the most beautiful piece of jewelry I have ever seen, explained why he wanted to settle with me and asked if he could buy the bed from my dad. I could only nod my head, just regained my speech this morning.
Our parents should be negotiating on the price of the bed and when the bed can be bought soon.

We can add pink, white or gold to it. Even red shaa

Lobi, I am a lady too and I don't see it as degrading. He wwrote it in a positive only full of admiration and praise for her. I am happy he wrote the whole convo cos other ladies and gents can borrow a leaf from it. Ladies can see that it isn't wrong to woo a man plus practical approach using a real example. Also the men can see that they don't hv to despise a woman that woos them.

I moved from Lag to PH and I hv gotteen jobs for various ppl. When did Lng move to PH? Why do all those big edifices at sanusi fafunwa, lekki road, ikoyi and Vi still function. Has the total, chevron and other notable coys building been closed too. Why do top level meetings still entail flying down to lagos. I remember in my post I mentioned both online and offline CV dropping. Did seun delete the part I mentioned the online submission. All avenues must be explored. Do not underestimate d power of gatemen and cleaners in some coys. A cleaner mite be so nice to an Oga that a CV gvn to such a person will make it before one submitted online. When u talk abt man knoww man, how does it relate to online submission. I rememebr in 2009, I had to meet a company executive in a lounge in lag in order to secure a jod for someone. The person finally succeeded but do u know that out of the 5 recruits, 2 ppl were ppl who knew top executives ( my candidate included), 2 submitted to d gatemen, 1 submitted online. Pls o job-seekers don't feel that it must be on I'm levels o. In some compnaies the I M is almost zero. Especially the heavy multinationals. I still emphasize on Networking. Do not discard anyone. While a particluar contact might not get u d job, he mite give u the tips. Eg, I met a random babe at shell test some yrs ago, we became friends, later I gave her info on how to gate crash my company test, what to exepct intest and interviews and how to follow up. She was successful. Pls no one shd contact me for job seeking o. I hv since retired from that arena.
