In academics there is what we call co-authorship and co-authors have equal right to use a co-authored article or journal anyway they see fit, regardless of who is the main author. As long as Prof. C contributed to the article, even merely proof-reading and he is brought in (by Prof. B, without your permission - Prof B must have mentioned it to you and you are probably too busy or excited at the time) as a co-author, then he is a legit co-author. This is a standard practice even in the Western world.

Additionally,there are many different ways one can present his or her resume or Vita. For whatever reason, you may choose to highlight yourself more than any other co-authors when the purpose of the resume is to highlight your own achievements. Some might even decide to say Jay Fox and other co-authors without naming the co-athors. It is a moral judgment on the part of the presenter but there is no crime committed. The readers of the resume will pull the article cited and they will find the original authors on the paper as you correctly described.

If I understand the scenario you described, you did not say, that the article was republished only that Prof. C is only focusing on his achievements in a resume and not you in the resume. If you want to prepare your own resume, you can still focus on your achievements as well and make the articles available to interested readers. Young Man, Accept the PhD track. It is an all win win situation. Think of it this way, if you are not cut out as a PhD material, they will award you your masters degree. Believe it or not, you might be taking some masters' level classes if you are deficient in certain areas. Another thing you need to know, unlike in the UK, PhD students in the US and Canada take classes a lot for one or two years while conducting research at the same time. So you will not be left behind just because you feel you are not prepared enough. One more fact, some schools admit BS holders directly into the PhD program and this practice is common for chemistry, Finance, Economics, Chemical engineering, etc. By no means does direct admission into a PhD program makes it a cake walk, but just like you were a JJC in your freshman year, and you made it through your final year, you will also become a JJC in the PhD class but you also make it. As the saying goes, there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Finally, Nigerian students excel quite a lot in overseas schools because they typically hunker down and get the job done. But be afraid and burn the midnight oil if you have one or more original Chinese or Indian students in your class. Take the Plunge with the offer of PhD admission and ride into the sunset.

You need to read your contract very well. You can only do quick transfer between your accounts and between your accounts and your bank accounts but not between your accounts and other people's accounts. I really do not think so. The 148 is most probably the bank rate. I have this formula that I use. If I want to know approximately what the parallel rate is all I usually do is find out (via internet) what the bank rate is then I would add any amount between 20 and 40 naira to the bank rate then I would look for a buyer and hear them out. You can always sell at the rate at which you are confortable with. So far, my fomula has not failed me.

This might work for you. Open a joint account in the village near the bros with the condition "I (your name alone) or my bros alone, you can also jointly have other people on it to contol distribution". Then open your own account alone at the same bank in your city or use your current one.

Then get online banking for the accounts in your name at your current city and you can transfer money to the bros from your account to the other joint account. You can have your coffee while you do this banking online. How convenient!

I live far off and I use this method to fund some cousins' monthly living expenses at school. It is safe to use internet cafe to access your account if you do not have computer at home (trust technology a little bit). To fund my own account I send western union to it once a year.
