She is not catching cruise. Its the fact. Women get bored of having just one sexual partner in marriage. I have seen it first hand. Upon all my knacks, styles, lasting in bed, big gbola, good loving, helping out in chores, all round support. My wife still went to spend night with a guy, and by chance I got to find out. And after initially trying to blame me for "pushing her", she later owned up that she was just bored and needed a new flame. And started trying to bobo me that there was no sex, that the guy (her colleague in the office) was just a friend. That she just needed a space to clear her head. I said all those na story for the gods. Clear your head from what? when we were all happy and laughing all week, knack Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday back to back cos its ovulation period. Then Friday, you up and comfortably spend the night with another guy, without blinking. You see how DNA problems start? Well, the marriage is done. Its a pity cos she was a nice person. But this crossed the line and I'm no simp.

Tell me you're kidding bro, your wife?

Nuisance. Tie me to any political party that suits you. Is a doctor's wage in nigeria the equivalent of Nigeria's minimum wage?
Clown.

You are indeed more stupid than I had anticipated. Please don't tell me you went to school oooo. The argument is that a Nigerian doctor whose pay is not on minimum wage is earning the equivalent of a minimum wage in the poorest paid European country and you still don't get it? Please I beg you in the name of God, don't tell me you have a degree and don't quote me again.

The cost of living that you'd spend in that bulgaria needs to be calculated in that same currency. Not earn 1000EU and multiply to naira. Are you spending naira in bulgaria?? Or are you collecting the EU in bulgaria and spending / paying bills in nigeria?

Foolish guy quoting me. Please get away!

A doctor's wage in Europe or UK is not minimum wage. A doctor's wage in Nigeria is comparable to Europe's minimum wage in the least paying European country. Now move on with your eternal stupidity, I'm sure you are one of those APC miscreants.

The people who commented on this thread are largely stupid. Plain stupid. I mean it in the very literal sense of stupidity.

What was compared is the minimum wage! Damn! What's the minimum wage in Nigeria? 30k? Will Nigerian doctors earn minimum wage abroad? The least an entry level doctor will earn in the UK is 2500 pounds monthly. What's you people problem?

Will anybody earning 30k naira per month not prefer to earn five hundred plus in Bulgaria? I leave you to your stupidity.

Cheers!

Sponsored post indeed.

I'm one of those who regretted voting for Obi.
I regret it every single day that passes by.

Statements like, 1) Igbos were the ones that voted him in Lagos.
2) we've proved that Lagos is a no man's land.
3) Yorubas are tribalists for voting Tinubu over Obi while Igbos are sensible for giving their own bloc votes.

I've read and heard enough of these stupid talks.
There is no room for Shukudis in Lagos State.
Whatever point they want to make should be made with Biafra.

GRV is a dead ambition, you can't insult my tribe, insult my pastor, turn your back at your own people because you were trying to impress the Okoros and now all of a sudden you've found your voice.
Go to Anambla and contest, Lagos isn't for salesale, it's for yoruba propers.

Actually, you do have a point and I almost would have towed this path. Igbos have a penchant for loud-mouthedness and pride. however, my conviction on the fact that truth should always prevail wouldn't let me. actually, from all indications, Obi is a rare kind of Igbo. From his simplicity, honesty, manners and comportment. these values are greatly lacking in Igbo people.

They are proud, divisive, rude, uncouth and utterly mannerless, desperate for money which leads to finding them always in the questionable places of life. I hope they will learn from Obi, a worthy example to all Igbos and shun their bad characters. However, Rhodes is a pure yoruba boy and if people have been treated with levity by APC govt, It is okay for them to have an option. Let APC be in the opposition for a while in Lagos State

Why are all the Easterners, including the ones that don’t stay in Lagos or even outside the country all gathering their support for Chinedu GRV for Lagos State governor?

Why Lagos? Why not their own state?

Then some dumb SW guys forming woke are shining their teeth like Sudan ram following them

Same Omo ale chinedu GRV that can’t even speak Yoruba but speak Igbo fluently
Chinedu GRV that cannot hide his disdain for Yorubas and his obsession for Biafra agitation

A whole Lagos state, 4th largest economy in the world.

Let me tell you something, Chinedu Gbadebo is clueless and very dull.. but that’s not the business if the igbos, no matter how dull and incompetent he is, their agenda is to see him win.
If Sanwo olu likes, let him sponsor all of them to Havard and Mit and give them housing and monthly stipends, they won’t still vote for him.
While you think you vote out of conscience, they are voting based on their agenda

It is your duty to come out massively and make sure you don’t let their selfish agenda come to pass, don’t sit at home and let an Omo ale take over Yoruba land

omo ale ni iran awon baba nla baba e. ko de ni ragba fun e.

Yoruba have good children. we support those Yoruba children with honour and integrity. gbadebo traced his ancestry to over 400 years ago and Igbo featured there and so? I am from Ibadan, Oyo state, my mother have told me that my great great ancestors from my paternal sides are Fulani/Niger people who settled at Ibadan. Hence, they rear animals in my father's house. When we all that claim heritage of a certain tribe, we might be surprised what we'll find there if we actually trace our genealogy. Politics is selecting the best option not tribes man.

and to even think that the immediate ancestry of GRV in the last 100 years is yoruba, what else do you want ? useless people, useless followers of a drug baron who looted lagos state treasury blind. wayray!

Recently, I took someone to gwagwalada from river park estate lugbe and I couldn't get a rider to return with. So I started picking passengers from the side of the road. I picked on man and we got talking about e-hailing and stuff. where are you based?

I'm sorry I didn't reply this post too. Actually you know just before I started sharing someone's car to drive on bolt, I had tried to move out of Nigeria via the healthcare visa route. So, I had done 24 care courses on Florence and Alison and applied to a ton of care homes in the U.K but none was forthcoming and I became tired in January. But just when I posted that I was searching for a car, a recruiter contacted me through my profile on LinkedIn. You know I am a welder and Iron bender by trade, so they want to employ steel fixers(Iron benders) for a company in the UK.

The recruiter arranged a meeting on google meet to share more details and we spoke. The salary offer was good 32k pounds per annum, although it is below what is been paid generally in the industry for that job, but I don't mind as far as I'm out of this country for good. I was told to send my CV and a 30 seconds video of myself doing the job which I did. Infact, the guy was pressing me because I had wanted to give my CV to a writer to help me fine tune to UK standard. Anyway, I did the best I could and sent. Since then I've been awaiting a response from him because I'm suppose to have an oral interview with the management of the company before approval.

So, when I saw your response to my car hunt, I didn't know what to say again because I am someone who likes to be focused and committed and would not want to take a car and drift away shortly, I decided to put the car thing on hold and watch what will happen first. But then, it's taking too long(I don't know if anybody has been in this position before) and I need to keep making ends meet and the person whose car I'm sharing behaves funny and is undisciplined with work. I'll like to go my way and be on my own. This is my true circumstance.

Please if you are offering me a car, know that I will never drive in Lagos because I am a retired danfo driver in Lagos before I moved to go and be staying in Oyo state. Lagos is a messy place! full of traffic and hoodlums. I can run interstate into and out of Lagos sha, but to drive e-hailing within Lagos? God forbid! I reside in Oyo state and Abuja. Those two places are comfortable for me to work.

😁😁😁. I have only been to abuja twice. Shortly tho.

Gist us Abeg...😁

my brother, Abuja is sweet oooo. you'll find life easier if you understand Hausa language. This place is one of the richest blend of all the ethnicities in Nigeria. The roads are largely better than anything you will find in the southwest, yes including Tinubu's Lagos that he created. The cost of living is very expensive like feeding, transport etc. Night life is very excellent because there is security presence everywhere and you can work all through the night in places like Wuse. Only that when you take orders that will take you far away from the happening places at midnight, you have to negotiate and charge your price. Otherwise, you can take someone to a place that is 30km away with bolt's useless fare and comeback empty like that with out any ride request; meaning you have just wasted your fuel and your time.

Abuja is very big and the road network is vast. Up till now, I can't drive without a map and this is the same for so many persons living in Abuja, they really do not understand the road network. The traffic here is not terrible like Lagos traffic. (P.S: Lagos is a very useless place and an overhyped slum.) If you get lucky driving on bolt here, you'll meet so many big people.

Bolt fares.

bolt charges anywhere between 60naira/km - 100naira/km on their platform. (please note that all these things I'm saying, I've screenshots and evidences to back them up). How their algorithm selects between the 60 and the 100, I don't quite understand. But let's even take 100naira/km for our analysis. I think the base fair on bolt is 500, no matter how short a distance to where you are going is, I have never seen bolt charge less than 500.

Back to our analysis proper. why in the name of God should a kilometer trip with air-conditioning be 100naira? Do you take bike? Have you taken Okada before? the charges of Okada is the same price if not more. that's a motorcycle where you seat and there is no back rest, there is direct wind and dust to your face, there is no air-conditioning, and you are easily exposed to harm.

why in the name of God should should I be carrying passengers with my car at the same rate that motorcycle will board them? In all bolt is a greedy platform where they don't care about their drivers. all they care about is making their 25%. Hence, cutting corners is the only way to survive on bolt. The Ideal situation won't work.
Business / Re: My Experiences Driving On Bolt In Ibadan by klbakare(m): 5:19pm On Feb 26, 2023
Driving on bolt and abiding strictly by the normal rules and not cutting corners as I stated earlier on this thread is pure slave work in Abuja. Like there are orders almost all the time oooo but the prices will make you frustrated. And before people here will even dash you money, God knows the kind of soap you would have to bath with.

Let me clarify to everyone that bolt charges 25% of our total earnings as commission. I mean twenty-five-fucking-percent. sometimes they even mis-calculate that commission wrongly and change you wrongly, I have an instance that I screen shot on my phone except maybe I'm wrong sha. But it was actual fraud.

what does 25% mean for us bolt drivers?

If I carry a 600naira ride on bolt, they charge me 25% of that amount which is 150naira. leaving me with 450 to cover for fuel, vehicle depreciation, maintenance and driver's remuneration. Carrying that forward. If I make 10k on bolt, they'll take 2500 as commission, most times you'd need 30-35% depending on so many luck factors to buy fuel. so, I'll take 3500 for fuel that made you 10k. 3500 + 2500 = 6000. from your 10k you'd have 4k left. so 4000 is left for car maintenance, depreciation and driver's remuneration.

Need I tell you how much time and work you'd have to put in to make 10k? bolt fares are terribly cheap and extremely ridiculous.

Let me quickly take time to apologize to all those who quoted me over time and I didn't reply. Believe me I have very very many genuine reasons. I will explain in due course and make up for all the lost time.

bro, Abuja dey ooo. Abuja is largely very peaceful, this place is the headquarters of all the military and paramilitary forces in Nigeria including the intelligence agencies. There is so much nightlife and the place is very safe. I drove so much in the middle of the night, various places in the middle of the night. The people here are tight-fisted, I mean like extremely very very stingy.

My own is I'm never taking Bolt in Ibadan again.

Yes the prices might not favor the driver's but why take it out on the Riders and not take it up with BOLT. Like how's the below any rider's concern, they just want to get to their destinations. You're the one that signed up with BOLT & accepted the terms. I don't understand Nigerians with your mindset at all!

I MAKE BOLD TO TELL EVERY IBADAN RIDER THAT THESE ATTITUDES WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTIME SOON BEACUASE THE PRICES OF BOLT ARE UNREALISTIC AND LET RIDERS ALWAYS BEAR IN MIND THAT BOLT CHARGES 25% OF EVERY MONEY THEY ARE PAYING US AS THEIR OWN COMMISION

As for Micra driver's not taking that kind of fare, Bolt charged me 800 from UCH to Amala Skye and 2200 when coming back. Guess how much I paid when I used Micra? Most riders know the difference but decided to pay for BOLT for other reasons but with the kind of souped up cars & annoying attitudes I see, I don't think it's worth it either.

Ibadan people might be used to your unethical practices but it's absolutely revolting for a new rider in the city. Ordered for a ride, it was the same rough car model with a different plate number, driver face was different, told me he was using a siblings account. Like wtf?

It's about the same price across the platforms and let me break your heart, if you like don't take bolt again, you will still find the same set of drivers on the the other platforms. Infact, they'll still negotiate with you. And let me tell you, there are more drivers on bolt at Ibadan than any other platform, Meaning you'll get your ride quicker.

As for the fares, when bolt gave you 800 from UCH to Amala Skye, were you not happy? Now imagine you gave someone a car to drive on bolt, then from that 800, bolt takes 200, remaining #600 for fuel, driver and car in this period! haba! you people should wake up to reality ooo. I can imagine people like you will still want AC, I can boldly tell you that most bolt cars in Ibadan are by far better than micra, how do you want them to justify that price in order to make profit? and you want better cars? how? So all the people driving corolla, vibe, matrix, camry etc. will rely solely on that #600 that is remaining to make profit? Even your Useless micras won't take it.

what changed when you were returning? Surge! my friend when you were returning there's been an increase in the amount of ride requests coming from that environment. That's what changed and that's what every driver always pray for. When they picked you for 2200, did they complain, did the driver try to negotiate? did he not serve you well? Now you know the difference. And meanwhile I doubt bolt will charge that much for that distance at surge, probably there was a long wait, stop-overs or longer journey route.

As for two drivers using a car, it's common and I think e-hailing apps can stop this by allowing two drivers to be legally registered on one car, so that they can drive at different times. I don't know if that is already available though.

enjoy!
