Even their holy quran itself, addresses peace in so many dimensions. I know of a particular Quranic verse that states the importance of repentance, daily prayers and charity or alms giving and how Allah their ultimate God is a forgiving father. Even when our enemies are inclined towards peace, we are directed to make peace with them. Shut up! Will they release their daughter for you to marry as a non Muslim? |

experts in the room should assist pls If national Assembly signed it into law this month, then the payment starts this month even if it is not paid this month probably there is no available funds to pay, they will definitely going to pay in arrears as long as it has been signed into law by National Assembly. NYSC are usually the first set that benefits from new minimum wage. |

Thank you It's obligatory duty of the Oba to appoint the chief Imam of the town, and the constitution guiding the town states that, if chief Imam will travel to hajj, there must be a permission from the Oba before he embark on such journey with other members of the community. But the chief Imam went to hajj without his permission probably act of sentiment that Oba is a christian. irisher: First of all, learn how to quote someone without insults otherwise, I will quote you no more. The so called alleged Anambra Igala minor communities do not bear Igala names, secondly they don't have family lands in the various communities. Thirdly, the traditional ruler of the various alleged Igala communities are all Igbos and bear Igbo names not Igala. 4• The Igala spoken in the various Anambra West communities is more Igbotic compared to that of Kogi state, and the Indigenous owners of the land referred these alleged Igala people as Ndi Olu. A minority group do not claim indigenous or ownership to a community that doesn't bear their native name or practice their tradition. The alleged Igala people are intruders in the Anambra West communities they inhabited and most of them are now proudly Igbos. Not only Anambra West communities their are little fraction of alleged Igala intruders in Ifite Ogwari too. Again, you've been arguing over this same issue for over 10 years now in this forum and you've been loosing the game, why can't you give up since you don't have any valuable evidence to support your claim Why won't I insult you when you keep writing jaggon, how dare you refer an indigenous owner of a land as an intruder? If you don't know, why can't you do proper or necessary research before any relative utterances. Just understand that more than 60% of towns Anambra north senatorial zone were originally Igalas before undergoing language switching due to the influx of the upland Igbos to the Area, the same is what most Igala towns in Anambra west are experiencing today. |

Orlu discriminating Owerri, Aba discriminating Bende, and Nsuka discriminating others...Ndi Igbo is not actually known for discrimination. It's high time you all learn from Ndi Anambra. Anambra motto was once "Home for all" before it became the "Light of the Nation". I had over heard past Gov. Peter Obi saying "ndi Anambra anaghi agba oke"(Ndi Anambra don't discriminate) we take Igala and others as our own brothers despite not being Indigenous to Anambra state. We all emanate from one ancestor, and became Ndi Igbo by birth, naturalisation, marriage and adoption. Ndi Igbo can't go for further division our concern is strictly Anioma state, any other Igbo agitating state within the South east region should retrace to find out what's their problem and solve it. Stop being stupid! If you don't know anything why can't you make a research. There are many indigenous Anambra Igalas, comprises of more than eight towns. |

OALandAgents: Where is the evidence that the so called Trans-Saharan slave trade actually occurred and was not just a lie written into the history books ?
Secondly no evidence Islam originated from Arabs, Islam is not the major religion in Africa, in my opinion, no religion is.
Even if for argument sake, Islam originates from Arabs and Islam became the major religion, that is no proof that Arabs ever enslaved Africans. Why can't you research before displaying your ignorance. So you never had of Trans Saharan slave trading, where Arabs do transport black Africans from west Africa to Egypt ,somalia, Djibouti even crossing Mediterranean sea down to Saudi Arabia which existed up till 1970, before the Europeans attacked and block such trading. What about Mauritania where the Arab Mauritania enslaves Mauritania black Africans Harantines using Quran to back up it, which is still in existence till today. Even though Mauritania government outlaws the enslaving of black Harantine by their Arab masters in 2007 but the practice is still prevalent till today. What made Kano a viable city? Do you know the number of Hausa slaves transported from Kano to Cairo after castrating them? Why can't you use Google or YouTube, with pictorial and video evidences on how Arabs enslaved black Africans. |

Politics › Why Open Drainages In Nigeria Roads? by Klinee(op): 2:23am On Feb 12, 2024 |
I do ask question about the road construction companies in Nigeria building open drainages in Nigeria city centers that is densely populated. There is virtually no advantage in open drainages rather than being a deeth trap for residents. What are their reasons, why do they chose to build open instead of closed one? I need an answer to this. The disadvantage of open drainages is unquantifiable; it has causes accident leading to lost of many souls and people sustaining lifetime deformity. it is a breeding zone for mosquitoes which causes malaria fever. It creates an avenue for people to dump refuse and dirty, which defaces the ecstatic view of Nigeria cities and health implications involved. Open drainages can clog and block easily because sand can fill in easily because of its widely opened surface area. It enhanced the growth and germination of grasses because it's directly opened to sunlight which enable photosynthesis, also leading to total blockage of the drainage. |

Rubbish 35%? So some men who actually merited the position will lose it so that unmerited women will fill the position? Those policy causes serious hindrance to the progression of any society. Don't give a woman position because she is a woman rather because she merited the position, all this 35% is the causes of the corrupt practice in Nigeria system today. People are getting position that he/she didn't merit. That's why Africa is poor today, give 35% position to people just because they are women, that is a disaster. |
