God forbid that my fellow man sell me as a slave especially to those dirty Arabs, honestly I would have led a revolt and killed as many Arabs as I could lay my hands on before they took me out...just imagine how these dirty modafuckers degraded us like commercial animals...black Africa smh
Instead of them to attack the Arabians they will rather attack you who is their fellow black African.

I asked one Igala Muslimic lady why they dress like Arabians and pray in Arabic language rather than their own, she answered that Arabic language is Godly language which means her language is devilish language.
Arabians used Islam to brainwashed them, used that to exploit and extort them.

It pained me a lot when I see fellow black African misbehaving in the name of Islam to the extent of killing your fellow black African.
PoliticsRe: Historic Footage Of Hausa Slave Traders Selling Slaves To Arabs by Klinee: 9:30am On Jan 14, 2024
Arabic people dealt heavily on black African, still most them still worship Arabians till today.
Imagine dropping your religion and adopt Arabic religion, dropping your mode of dressing and adopt Arabic mode of dressing (hijab) even only Arabians are allowed to rule them(the emirs), their local kings(sariki) was banished. Hausa are domed, Arabians finished them.

Each one, teach one.
That you wrote thesis on this does not substantiate how truthful your claims are.
Assuming all Anioma towns are of Bini' origin, the question you should have ask yourself before embarking on this research work is, how then do Anioma people, Asaba down to Agbor intelligibly speaks Igbo language and practice Igbo culture with zero atom of Benin culture or language even though they are proximal to Benin than the hinterland Igbos.
Onitsha to Agbor, with river Niger as a barrier is about 82km while Agbor to next Bini' town (Ogan or Abudu) is about 16km.
If true that all Anioma are of Benin origin I don't think that Agbor will be able to speak intelligible Igbo language, because of the far distance and also they have zero influence with the hinterland Igbos in the SE.
There so many assertions about the origin of Delta Igbos that are based on the foundation of lies. I think lies are being promulgated across these western Igbos in their quest to deny being Igbo especially from their educated one.
For example on this platform, a Delta Igbo boy called erniok in a quest to claim Bini' origin, claimed that 'Obi' and 'Diokpa' is a Bini words
and that it does not exist in SE Igbos.
How true is that? Because I have stayed in Bini and when I compare Benin language and culture to that of Aniomas, they're not even 1% percent closely related to each other.
Then why all this claims which are all lies?

We are talking about males here. By the way, you are yet to let me know how you derived your 3% statistics.
If you go to Ukwuani area, they called Okpala uku, is still same thing.
It is not Bini' word is an Igbo word.

Any male in igbo can be called diokpa you say. So I can assume you call your juniors diaokpa. In my place, it is not allowed. FYI, SE call their elders ndi ichie and not diokpa. If I'm wrong quote an area in SE that use diokpa.

Illas have few igala roots. Don't make it look as if they are directly from igala pls. I hope you know Ebu is not considered part of enuani?
I think I have exhausted all my explanation to you, I still wonder why it's difficult for you to assimilate.
I am trying to explain to you that Diokpa or Diokpala means the same thing in every parts of Igbo land where it's being used, being it in SE or ANIOMA.
Diokpa is short form of Diokpala, it's all the same.
That I called a young man "mpa" does that mean that the young man is my father?
But the actually meaning of "mpa" is father.
I knew and have better knowledge of ANIOMA people far more than you are, because I lived there for years and they are directly opposite to my village.
Do you know how the word Enuani comes about?
We the riverine people along the river Niger coast of both Anambra and Delta classified every villages along the river Niger coast that are upland as Ndi Enuani comprises of Asaba, Ugbolu, Okpanam, Illa EBU even Onitsha and some parts Anambra, which am very sure that your hinterland villages are not originally part of Enuani because you hinterland villages does really have much interaction with us, the riverines. But your people went and adopted it as your identity even trying to exonerate the original Enuani people out of it.
We do have symbiotic interaction with Enuani people because we go there to get yam seedlings while they come to us for matured yams and fishes.
EBU speak both Igala and Igbo language just like my village we speak both Igala and Igbo language but we're in Anambra state.
I'm just trying to explain things that you don't know but keep arguing blindly.

Diokpala or diokpara is first born son but in anioma, diokpa is accorded to either an elder or one who is your senior. You may not even be related in any way.
So in ANIOMA an elderly woman can be called Diokpa? By this reasoning am sure you are still a small boy who hasn't understand the traditional dynamic in your village.

Aniomafrom igala and jaw? please I'll like to know those from igala and I jaw.

Benin greeting does not sound igbo unless you can prove a particular area that has similar greetings. For the fact that some yoruba or hausa word does sound like igbo word does not make them igbo.

On your 3% that take inyase title, how did you come about this figure or you simply pull figures from the air.

Diokpa has absolute nothing to do with diokpala. Please note this. If in doubt, ask any anioma person. Stop confusing yourself.

The bolded is absolute rubbish. Prove it if not. You are talking to someone to grow up in Aba, faulks road. Do not think you are talking to one who does not know omenala.

PS: you are the one actually arguing rubbish, denying facts even when it is obvious. I'm an enu ani person and there are oral histories that are passed down from generation to generation. You can't know a people more than themselves.
For the fact that you said that Diokpa has nothing to do with Diokpala showed that you knows nothing about your traditions or maybe you are still a small boy.
Why can't you go and consult your elders before coming here to argue.
An elderly man or even any male person can be called Diokpa in Igbo land but that is not the actual meaning of Diokpa.
Diokpa or Diokpala means the eldest son of the village (Diokpa of the village), the eldest son of the clan(Diokpa of the clan), the eldest of family (Diokpa of the family).
Diokpa is fully pronounced as Diokpala, it also means Obi.
female can never answer Diokpa nor Obi

It's better you talk about your village that claimed Bini' origin.
There are many villages in Enuani or that claimed Igala origin even far more than that of Bini', few examples are . Asaba, Okpanam, Illa, Obumkpa, and few others, you can research about it.
Not every ANIOMA towns speaks Igbo language there are Igala speaking part of ANIOMA which EBU is one and some yorubaoid too, like UGBODU.

The questipn for you is why copy bini and not core igbo? Why is there an iyase title amongst ani-oma igbo and same is not seen in core ala-igbo. Why obi and not eze or igwe as seen amongst igbos?
Am not here to argue rubbish, I am not against your histories of people's origin. There are some ANIOMAs that came from Igala, Binis,Ijaw but honestly large percent are of Igbo origin.
ANIOMAs don't need to copy anything, all their culture activities are all Igbo, I can authoritative tell you that, from burial ceremony, marriage ceremony and all other festivities. Even those that of Bini' or Igala origin, they have completely lost their original cultural heritage far back in ancient days , showing Queen Idia image or wearing of Oba of Bini regalia does not represent the true contemporary culture of these people.
Iyase is not common to all ANIOMA towns, Iyase is found only in about 3% towns in ANIOMA and then also in Onitsha, Anambra.
The Binis greet laweyi eze does it mean that Binis are Igbo?

So is it the Binis that own Obi system? So Obi is a Bini' word?
The Igbos practice Obi system before the emergent of Igwe. Obi system is actually classified as Diokpa or Diokpala system where the eldest man in the village automatically become the leader of the village.
There is also Obi for sub villages even to the immediate family, the eldest son is Obi and the eldest daughter is Ada.
Obi system is very common in whole Igbo land including ANIOMA towns, though some village have corrupted it by making it hereditary, appointment or by elective which is not the true representation of Obi system.
Igwe is warrant chief appointment in Igbo land by the whites during colonial era, the word "Igwe oo" comes into play as results of the money they spray in atmosphere (Igwe).
So when people shout "Igwee oo" it means they want those warrant chiefs to spray the atmosphere with money so that people will pick.
But culture is dynamic, today those warrant chiefs are now the traditional head in most villages and they're now being called Igwe.
Eze means king in Igbo language but Eze-ship is not a common practice initially in Igbo culture.

The true representation of this people's culture is the woman in the front of the banner, that is their traditional dress-up during festival.

Don't you know that there are far more Igbos and non Yorubas who can speak Yoruba language than the Yorubas and non Igbos to the Igbo language.

The statistics is based on the people chosen the languages they understood.

Lagos made most Nigerians (non Yorubas) to understand Yoruba language than Igbo language.
So the total numbers chosen Yoruba language does not transcend that they are of Yoruba origin.

OVER-RATED NIGERIA IS STILL BETTER see why = 1 pound to 1 naira today is N1,001 so are you saying with £10 x N1,001 = N10,001 you cannot buy everything in that basket and collect change in Nigeria today?

1 Sliced Bread = N700
2 Spaghetti = N1400
1 Gesha = N600
1 live chicken = N3,000
1 75cl soya Oil = N1,400
1 Midium size Butter = N600
2 Gino Tomato paste = N1,000

Total = N8,700 so your change is N1,300 that's if you exchange pound to naira at offical rate and buying at the most expensive stores or high brands. If you exchange at black market rate and buy at public market "days" you will collect as much as N6,000 after buying everything in that basket....that's about £6 left.

LET'S JUST THANK GOD FOR WHAT WE HAVE AND STOP LOOKING AT AND GLORIFYING ANOTHER MAN'S LAND MORE THAN OUR OWN....OUR OWN NA OUR OWN O grin
You just don't know your mathematics.
How can you measure it by the exchange value?
You measure by your earning, what can you get with your hourly earning in Nigeria and what can you get with your hourly earning in UK, that is only way you can determine who is actually living good standard life between the two individuals.

How many Nigerians can afford good apartment in Nigeria here? Because houses are very cost in Nigeria compared to there.
Come to Nigeria and see millions of Nigerians living in the forest, mud houses, thatch houses, shanties even under bridges because they can't afford the cost of renting a good apartment in Nigeria. If these Nigerians have the money they would have rented good home.
But over there most of them can afford good accomodation, 24/7 electricity and also good food.

Nzam as it's now doesn't have road !
But fact remain that Obi is the only governor in the history of Anambra that built a tarred road in the entire Anambra west LGA(Umueze Anam-Mmaita) till today. Kudos to him!

Go and verify before you quote me, the road I stated that he abounded has already been completed by him(Obi) before he left office, that is Umueze Anam-Mmiata road.
The next governor Obiano , who happened to come from our zone, is expected to take the road from Mmiata to Nzam- Innoma but unfortunately he couldn't build a single road in Anambra west through out his 8yrs in Office.
Initially I hated Peter Obi but after he completed his tenure I was marveled by the projects he delivered.
And let me make it clear to you;

***it's only PETER OBI that have constructed a tarred road in the entire Anambra west LGA since the inception of this world till today, no other governor, president, LGA chairman, senator or house rep has done that***

***It's only PETER OBI that brought down electricity for the first time in the history of Anambra west, even though not everywhere in Anambra west but he happened to be the first and last governor that attempt that till today***

If Soludo will do more than him by extend the road from Mmiata to Nzam and also push the electricity across the LGA then He (Soludo) will be the second governor to do that after Obi.

Obiano was chosen by Obi because he came from Anambra north, reasoned to help develop the region as the son of the area but unfortunately he did nothing for the people.

Unfortunately, our LGA has been totally abounded by all the past administration it's only PETER OBI that made little attempt to rescue us from the pit where we found ourselves. If Soludo does better I will praise him.

Christians vote for better candidate irrespective of his religious affiliation but Muslims vote for a candidate whom is of their own religion, the demographics of voting in the northern Nigeria clearly showed that.
