These are very grevious crimes anywhere in the world. In 1999, Evans Enwerem became the Senate president. However, it was later discovered that there was a discrepancy with letter (s) in his name. That is Evans vs Evan. The controversy resulted in him relinquishing the seat as Senate president. Igbos didn't cry or start trying to defend him.

Again, later in that same dispensation, a man named Salisu Buhari forged the certificate he presented to the House of Representatives by claiming he graduated from the University of Toronto, in Canada. Salisu Buhari was to be the Speaker, House of Representatives. However, a newspaper revealed that this man had lied and the certificate he submitted was forged. The university of Toronto in Canada was subpoenaed and they denounced him. He was subsequently removed. The Hausas didn't cry or try to defend him. They understood that this man committed fraud.

Again, early this year, a secondary school girl named nmesoma was accused of altering her JAMB score. Some Nigerians tried to defend her initially but when investigations revealed she was guilty, they withdrew their support.

Now, a yorubaman has committed even more fraudulent acts than Evan Enwerem, Salisu Buhari and nmesoma put together only for his people to be supporting him unabashedly.

If tinubu were to be from another tribe let's say Hausa, Igbo, Bini, Ijaw, Tiv etc. These people would have been everywhere condemning him. wOle Soyinka would have granted several interviews to condemn it. Femi Falana would have quoted several sections of the Nigerian constitution that made it a criminal and impeachable offense. Their pastors would have used their pulpits to attack such person relentlessly. Yorubas would have written lots of articles in newspapers, social media etc about how damning the criminal act is. But today, they've all gone silent because tinubu is a yorubaman.

I hope Nigerians are taking note and seeing those who are actually destroying this country due to primitive tribalism. Whatever happens, history has recorded it and posterity will judge
