How about aliens then?
What does agnosticism have to do with aliens?
What do nonsense like gods have to do with aliens?

An “alien” is simply a living organism on a planet other than earth and given the amount of planets that exists, it’s highly probable that these organisms exist. There is no supernatural or other mumbo jumbo regarding aliens.
Life exists on this planet so it follows that life exists on other planets.

.

I didn't say it's silly idea. I said the question shouldn't be asked in the first place if he knows what he is doing.

There are good reasons to speculate or talk about the source of our universe, and it's why people everywhere have concluded about a God , big bang, or anything else closer to it ,but non whatsoever for flying dragons over people's head.

Tell me ,on what basis is he asking about that? How does it connect to anything tangible that normal people discuss everyday?

Your friend claimed not to ever see a flying dragon or believe in it, and it's also certain he doesn't know of anyone else who has ever seen or believed in it.

If that's the case, why asking another person in the same position as himself to prove why they cannot see what is not there ?

Is that not madness?

Who knows? He probably might be seeing one recently and wants to test if others are begining to see the same thing..Tell him to see a doctor or let him read about the "five whys of insanity" so he stop with the mad talk.

I only responded to him at first because of his mentions that I was running away and also to see if has anything to surprise me with, but non so far and you want to come and defend the craziness. You are jobless really

I think both of you can't stand the thought you might be making a mistake concerning the position you have taken on the matter and because of that wants to drag others who have decided to be neutral.

There are agnostics theist, I know, but I'm not that .So, don't try to use subterfuge to drag me into your usual fight with theists on this board.

This is the last response you will get from me concerning this issue.
The Dragon is as qualified as gods to be “the source” of universe. Just because they haven’t “concluded about the Dragon” doesn’t mean it’s not the source.

Its a simple question which (for some reason) agnostics find that uncomfortable.

Keep your support to yourself. I don't need it.

Give it to the person who has asked a silly question.
The question is not silly because there is no reason to take whatever anyone calls god to be anything more than nonsense. If you are agnostic about gods then it follows that you should also be agnostic about Jaeohoenix’s dragon.

If you say that Jaephoenix’s dragon is a silly idea and a nonstarter, then whatever you are agnostic about can be dismissed the same way. So, I changed dragon to god in your post.

I know you will waste my time.

The questions about god doesn't make any sense in the contest of what is being discussed here, and I know you won't see it.

We are concerned about the real world itself and how it came about and not your imaginary god.

Nobody, except a mad man, would ask another person if they see a flying god over their head. Please I'm not calling you mad. I just want you to think of what you want to do.

Is it common to see that sort of thing?

Imagine somebody walking up to you to ask you about gods

And if you manage to reply ,no

Then, he insist you prove why you can't see it . what nonsense!

Please be honest with yourself. How would you regard such a person, oga doctor?
The Dragon created the world.

The Sun is the result of the Dragon’s breath when They thought “This expanse We have created deserves to experience the sensation of existence”.
Then , the Dragon thought, “Let there be an object to provide light and warmth, to nourish the earth and also cause destruction” and They took a deep breath and exhaled such that the Sun emanated from the Dragon and there was light and warmth along with destruction.
The Book of Scales and Fire - Chapter 3:16

The day turned into night, the birds chirped at the sudden darkness, the crickets came to life in a cacophony of clicking sounds. The Dragon’s spirit came down on The Twins and declared them the good and the evil to balance out creation. Then the Expanse opened up and the spirit descended like a seven-headed dragon and a roar was heard in the celestial realms, “These are Our progenies, in whom We are well pleased”
The Book of Brimstones and Sapphires - Chapter 4:19

The fool says in his mind, there is no Dragon.

do you understand what a deistic god means?
It's a god claim by deist based on caused and effect, they argue that this universe cannot start on its own and since evidence suggest that gods don't interfere via miracles or revelation, it means something must have started everything and that something does not interfere.

How does this even compare to sango?

Two things:
1. The universe cannot start on its own
2. The thing that started the universe does not interfere henceforth.

We have evidence for number 2, we do not have evidence for or against number 1. We need evidence against number 1 to prove that such thing is nonsense. We cannot call it nonsense if we don't know how the universe started actually
This is just rubbish and I don’t think you are even smart or educated enough to realize it.

it's not nonsense until you disprove it. Like with evidence of how the universe started and a creator was not involved else it remains a possibility.
I don’t have to disprove anything. You make an extraordinary or nonsensical claim and I reject it outright. I don’t have to say anything but call it nonsense and it’s up to you to prove it. However, I KNOW FOR A FACT that you have no evidence and can’t prove anything because your claims are nonsense. I also know it’s utter nonsense because I can make the same wild claims and would consider you gullible or stupid for entertaining the possibility that it’s not total bullshit.

Workch:
in science, we make claims without evidence a lot, it's called hypothesis. Don't you know how science works?
Albert Einstein general theory of relativity was a claim for Years until proven with evidence.
Albert Einstein static universe hypothesis was a claim that we disproved with evidence.
The difference with science, is that while so many claims exist, we only make the ones we have evidence for a fact and never become close minded to those we don't have evidence for or against yet. That's why atheism is flawed and not scientific until we truly demystify deism.
Bla bla bla. Stop referring to science.

You can’t demystify it because nonsense is nonsense. You can’t make it clearer, you can’t simplify it, you can’t make it less vague because it’s nonsense.

you should present a counter evidence because that's how science works.

It's why atheism is not scientific.
I don’t recall any atheists saying atheism is scientific!

In science, once a scientist makes a hypothesis, it's really not necessarily the scientist that needs to falsify it.

He stated that claims of certainty in any matter, whether science or religion, should be backed by evidence, and proposed the agnostic method to examine claims based on evidence.
The spirit of the almighty leprechaun sitting on my shoulder says that Huxley can claim agnosticism about leprechauns and unicorns to his heart’s content but science does not require agnosticism. Pretending that religion and the sciences can even be discussed with the same framework is either dishonest or delusional.

The sciences have methods to collect evidence fir study while religion and other similar bullshit are strictly about belief without evidence. A claim of certainty in religion can be summarily dismissed as quickly as the person making the claim can formulate it because the claim would be invariably based on bullshit and nonsense. And if there is a modicum of truth it is often pedestrian and buried in metaphor or allegory.

So you can talk till you’re blue in the face and cite a thousand “agnostics” who are searching for evidence of nonsensical beliefs, at the end of the day, agnosticism has nothing to do with science.

The agnostic is one who can’t discard his concept of god but wishes to differentiate it from other gods whose mythology or attributes he disagrees with. Thus the god becomes “unknowable”.

Whether it is the active god of the theist, the myriad gods of the polytheist, the lazy or indifferent god of the deist, the “unknowable” god of the agnostic, the god the atheist does not believe in, the gods of the Assyrians, the gods of the Sumerians, the god of the Yorubas, the god of Tom Cruise, the gods who authorized the Indian caste system(with the priests conveniently at the top), the god the Carthaginians sacrificed their children to, the god that the Romans sacrificed their children to, the genocidal god of the chosenites, and all the gods you’ve never heard of, I confidently declare them all bullshit.

The Roman emperor Flavius Vespasian was said to have healed a blind man and made a lame walk during his visit to the temple of Serapis Christus in the 1st century.
If you ask most people what they know of Serapis, some would probably guess it a cosmetic line or fashion label. But once upon a time some people were theists because of Serapis while some were atheists about Serapis. Lol, of course some were “agnostic” and are still searching for evidence that will let them decide if Serapis exists or not.
