No platform worths loyalty Truely, but we are going to glorify the platform that enables you make more money and earn more if it’s Uber for you it’s fine , me I am pained because driving na planing and positioning , i can be earning much more if Uber does the needful , some times on Uber we decline a pickup of 6km thinking is to far , whereas the destination might be 40km , with bolt I’m sure drivers won’t mind going to pick up the rider especially if it’s the period like early mornings when there is less or no traffic at all because we can see destination and even possible distance ( km ) to be covered brogxy: You must have been axed from Uber platform with the way you talk about them. The fact still remains that no platform worths loyalty! |

I concur 100 percent with this , they can even still keep 25% except they wanna totally knock bolt off then they make it same , as for the trip destination , theirs is very wack and most times deliberate , they throw you off course intentionally , today I was at Lekki phase 2 I set destination to mainland I think ikeja , they literally gave me some going to another house on the same street , I know this because the person was like I should hurry , although it was a x2 surge but the pick up was already like 3km... They removed cancellation fee I also hope they will be lenient when it comes to penalizing drivers for canceling , you can’t hide destination and still be strict on that , if the destination is showing like bolt atleast drivers won’t have a reason to cancel because we won’t pick it in the first place . Even now bolt shows all places , remember when they used to hide some ?? I wonder how people drive exclusively on Uber , when they blocked me I was asking if I can survive only on bolt, I swear my earnings nearly doubled , Na only them use their hand unblock me after 1 month , i thought they called it permanent block I’m not saying bolt is better but right now they are in control of the market , Uber needs to do the needful to match up or even regain 1st place northbird: - No more cancellation fees. for those who drive on deir platform cos of this.
- Destination feature is wack.
- No 3%
So wats deir unique selling position.
They can keep 25% but to catch more drivers n subsequently more biz, destination disclosure is non negotiable.
Bolt has done it for almost a year now, did their biz drop? No. On d contrary, Bolt revenues have actually peaked, evidenced by the various promos they run. catch any 5 rides n get ₦1400. Who can beat that?
The traffic of recent has been so crazy.... You nid to know wat you r getting into. |

Thanks, very helpful 141samuel: bro accept every trips that Comes in ,but make a call to the rider to confirm the location for the PU and tell the rider the minutes it will take you to reach PU so that the rider will not just thing you are only calling to know the location he/she is going to , and before you end the call ask the rider where he is going to , e.g if the rider say I'm going to apapa , you(driver)- sorry ma/ sir am not going to apapa you can cancel and request for another. Is better for rider to cancel than driver to cancel or not accepting the request |

These past two months I have made more than I usually make when I was using both apps , I’m not saying bolt is better but I think handling one app solely gives you an edge and as it stands na the bolt features win am for me ooo, especially with the destination showing feature , I can plan and strategize my movement , too make money here no be by just driving every where and any where o |

I agree with you , my case was also cancellation northbird: They r losing revenue....
I mentioned it earlier some weeks back, you don't cut your drivers lose cos of cancellation.
It must be a grave offence ranging from fraud, physical assault of riders and things that cud bring the app to disrepute.
Cos , yes , you r on boarding more drivers to d platform, but they r just what they are .. Rookies. .
N all you get is a cut from rookies. N such cuts don't increase d bottomline. |
