✓ But if the man was the person in the UK, she would not mind him using his money to bring her over....... Men are just glorified ATM machines....... 🤣
✓ Which kind loan is she still paying for 3 years........ 😂🤔
It is the same way a man in Nigeria would expect her to raise money to help him relocate to the UK if he agrees to marry her. We have many stories from women who did just that. undecided

2. Must as loan run according to your schedule? undecided

✓ Urr going off topic. I'm not talking about marriage. Just love in its purest form. Not every marriage either then or now is based on love.
✓ Most is based on convenience or selfish motives, business and opportunity.
im talking about real love.
You and I have never, as Nigerians, known love in its purest forms --- or according to your imaginations-- so stop rambling about wetin you no know, abeg! undecided

2. Love, as most humans will ever experience, is the transactional , many a times unbalanced version, that we can pretend. undecided

3 Real love my arse.... You mean the psychotic delusions we tag "real love" where on partner sacrifices majorly for the benefit of the other --- ending up with the short end of the stick, of course. Abegi! 🙄🙄🙄🙄

✓ I didn't hand over the cash to the policeman, I made the transfer and when it was confirmed they gave me my car key, which I presume the girl would give them the money later. Nevertheless, I understand your points now, you're indeed so right, things might get ugly really quick if I should report the issue, I'm scared at same time I really wished to report them for such scenario not to repeat itself again, because I believe when next they sees me they would still demand for the same "Authority to sell" which they used to take money from day before yesterday.
You should try to go back, without the car,to get your receipt and see what happens. Or like some have suggested, take a lawyer along with you. undecided

Are u not a separate individual with ur independent thinking? undecided
I don't need to have been there 24/7 to come to the realization that former benefits are no longer available and is thus the reason why many men are making so much noise, some going as far to demand that women they originally married as housewives now contribute to the financial needs of their families. undecided

✓ I transferred to the girl, before I was done making the transfer the police called the girl in my present if I had transfered the money, as soon as I was done the POS girl called him that I have transferred it successfully, I went back to the police and he handed my car keys to me. The girl POS Is just exactly at the back of the police station, gumming the fence, so they know her very well.
You withdrew 80k and handed it over to the hand of a police man, right? Even if the gal witnessed the transfer, you are to blame for not demanding a receipt immediately before handing the money over. If you go there and the gal refuses to serve as witness for you giving the money, what do you think would happen? undecided

✓ Everybody isn't like u or those u know that are looking for someone to use in the name of love.
Stop lying! Your forefathers used love to get free labor and possibly land for their farms. Your fathers used love to obtained low-cost homecare, sex, baby mama, nanny services, etc services for the forwarding of their dreams. These days, love costs a whole lot more. Many Nigerian men, especially the poor are wailing as a result. It has always been about benefits with men as the major benefactors until more recently. undecided

These days the word love has been used and abused by humans.
Na lie! Love has always been used for the benefit of one person or the other, particularly the men folk. The major reason most of you are rattling on about love now is that you realize that you yourself can also become a victim the old game these days. undecided

✓ A UK based Nigerian lady has said during an interview that she cannot bring a Nigerian man to the UK. She says she will remain single instead of doing so claiming that she has been in the UK for 3 years and still paying off the loan she took to get to the UK.
She said she can only be in a relationship with a Nigerian man after he has relocated to the UK.
Her response is sensible given she is more likely to find a man in her own class over there in the UK and not back in Nigeria. undecided
Christianity EtcRe: Can Destiny Be Denied ? This Thread Will Shock You by Kobojunkie: 6:44pm On Jul 04, 2025
ProphEkene:
The concept of destiny is controversial in a way all of us know what destiny is planned out events that'll happen in the future.

As Christains, we know that God sees all time lines of events. He knows what will be before they start unfolding. So many people are meant to leave a particular life, or become a particular thing. The popular belief is that whatever you like you can do but u must end up being what you were meant to be. Is that true?

No your choices affect destiny. Your will affect destiny, your actions affect destiny. That is why, if u are meant to be rich and you don't work hard or work smart. You won't be rich. Growing up, there were stories of a woman she's a twin. Her life was different from her twins life. Though coming from a lineage of fertility, she decided to live recklessly. She dated a ritualist man. And it's known that who ever sleeps with the man lives and dies childless. Today, she's approaching 60, she's been in and out of several marriages without any child. Her twin sisters children are ok. Even her daughter is about to be married now. The reckless one is now preaching how bad men are to her niece. How to revolt because she's become a bitter woman. Why this story. It is to make us aware of our actions. What must be may not be. Destiny can be delayed and also denied( by ones actions and choices). Even e get as dem go delay destiny at some old age it becomes denied. Some one can be destined to have 5 children yet die barren. Some one can be destined for riches yet die poor. That is why u must safe guard your destiny with prayers and by making the right decisions.
Please stop telling these nonsensical stories already!🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱

✓ The POS girl is directly at the back of their office, she would show the transaction, beside they can't and will never deny it.
✓ The number they gave me to call here, I called him and he asked me to call him when I get to the station.
The receipt you got from the gal does not reflect any association to the police force, she might as well have been a woman selling akara at the back of the police office for all the law cares.🤔

If they can't deny it then go back and ask them for an official receipt for the money you paid and see what happens. undecided

✓ They refused transfer and insisted I must pay in cash, so I had to go to the POS to withdraw the cash.
what about receipt , indicating where you paid cash to and to whom? I mean this is 2025? Unless you yourself are into scamming, there is no reason why you should not have obtained that at least to stop other cops from stoping and defrauding you on another day or at least on your way back. If you don't at least have proof of payment, what they did was scam you.🙄

WOW... you cut off your own flesh and blood because he has a surname different from yours? I have seen Nigerian fathers cut off their kids for acting rude, and many more because they are no longer pleased with the mother of their children. Indeed, Nigerian fathers and abandonment are like 5 & 6. 😩😩😩😩😩

➜Caffeine intolerance.
I used to experience all these anytime I drink coffee. My heart beats faster, the palpitations and restlessness was out of this world. Once I discovered tmit was caffeine, I stopped completely and felt great again..
I take green tea and I felt great. You should check the content of that green tea, don't trust the manufacturers.
You used green tea to resolve caffeine intolerance issues you were having, while OP declares that green tea is responsible for problems he is dealing with? Anyways, I agree that something in what he has been drinking may go beyond just the green tea that many of us are OK with. undecided

➜Hilarious post mistakenly posted in a way that even after taking the tea the first time, you kept mistakenly taking it until now you are addicted, emaciated, light, and lack concentration. I remember when some few years back, all of a sudden my BP started reading between 140 and above 150. I was scared; I didn't want to take the drugs so i was told a certain green tea that normalizes BP could do the job. Omo i went and bought a pack, downed it and bought the second and was halfway through it when I started noticing my shoulder bones appearing. though the BP normalised but omo i feared and ran. I changed to another type of green tea that gives me the needed sharpness and good feeling without distorting my system in any way.Even at that i dont take it regularly, but once a week now. Am cool man!
So, there is a type/brand of green tea that could do this to OP and not the natural green tea many of us are probably used to? undecided

➜I drink copious amount of green tea too and have experienced none of what he claims, however you must always bear in mind that everyone is different and it is possible that some of what he experienced is true.
Some of it though, I will agree, seems to be the product of a hyperactive imagination that has set about the task of amusing the world this morning.
Boring for me but, like green tea, I suspect it might have a different effect on others.
People are different indeed! It is hard to picture the OP never having gulped down a can of Coke or coffee at some point in his life, or eaten chocolate or other foods that contain similar amounts of the same substances found in green tea. That is why I recommend he go see a doctor and maybe a psychiatrist to be certain where those symptoms of his are coming from. undecided

➜May God forgive you. Nothing told you that for a man to have grown to that age, he definitely will be curious and anxious to meet his father. Do you know the role that a father plays in the life of a child? Oh! You thought is all about money when you saw the word “support”? So at his age and has a man, he has no right to search and seek support from his dad? Atimes, try to put yourself in peoples shoes before making comments.
What does it matter the role that a father should supposedly play when the father in question does not wish to play that role but instead would probably only step in if money were in play? This is Nigerians we are dealing with and forget all that talk we engage in about the value of a father in the life of his brood—something that is pretty foreign if you process it yourself — many fathers will not think twice to abandon their children if there is no personal immediate gain to be had. huh

➜A young man named Zabov Chukwunonso Okonjo, who was born in Russia, is currently searching for his father, Mr. Okonjo, who hails from Ogwashi-Ukwu in Delta State, Nigeria. In a brief interview, Zabov revealed that he is aware of his father's current whereabouts. However, according to him, his father has refused to offer any assistance. When questioned by the interviewer, Zabov said his father claimed to be in Lagos but expressed no interest in supporting him. Zabov also disclosed that his mother is Russian and her name is Natasha, while his father is Nigerian, originally from Ogwashi-Ukwu, Delta State.
Poor boy! No one explained to him that once abandoned by a Nigerian father, chances are slim to none that he would ever receive support from that avenue. If he had shown up to provide support for the man, however, the man would have probably embraced him with open arms. undecided

➜For God's will to be established, man's input is needed. Man's availability and actions are needed to actualize and perpetuate God's Cause. As men, we are God-dependent. Though God-dependent, men are to be proactive in the course of fulfilling their purpose. It is in men's intentionality and zealousness, that God's involvement would find expression and manifest, if the purpose behind the proactiveness is consistent with God's Will.
