In the victims farms! In their village!! In their state! What manner of desert iguanas do that? They probably have already done that at this point, and I maintain that that does not give the people the right to go attacking other people without solid evidence. Killing in self-defense is one thing, but killing random strangers simply because one is paranoid of being attacked is murder. |

The people reacted to the problem of insecurity in the country, albeit illegally. I asked why other people cannot react to the injustice carried out by the first set of people, by coming out to condemn the killings and demand justice, but your retort is that this other reaction is not acceptable, even though the first set felt their reaction was the right one? We are watching, I am sure a lot of people are waiting to see. His actions could make or mar his presidency going forward. If he shows same party leniency.....he is toast. This is what happens when you elect party cronies to all sensitive positions. ➜ The NSA and NOA should have issued security awareness to all governors that the festive period is here and a lot of movement will be happening. immaculatesense: Good one sir. Let me add. The New Testament Scriptures is more than enough for a believer to live an acceptable life before the Lord. The doctrinal mixture of the Old with the New will only bring confusion. The believers should strictly abide by the New Testament Scriptures. The Old testament scriptures is good for but it contains majorly the Culture of the Jews and how they should live differently from the Gentiles that surround them. The New Testament Scriptures on the other hand harmonized how a believer (Jews and Gentiles) should live irrespective of their distinct cultures and languages. The New Testament Scriptures is the constitution of the believers. Thanks. Religion is truly a scam! |

Asonaijaaso: ➜Sixteen travelers were brutally killed in the Udune Efandion community of Uromi, Edo State, on Thursday after being wrongly accused of kidnapping. The victims, mostly hunters of Hausa origin, were traveling from Port Harcourt to Kano for the Sallah celebration when they were stopped around 1:30 p.m. by members of the Edo State Security Corps and local vigilantes. The presence of their Dane guns, traditionally used for hunting in Northern Nigeria, was misinterpreted as a security threat. Instead of alerting law enforcement, the vigilantes sounded an alarm that incited panic and violence. A mob, acting on the false accusation, launched a deadly attack, killing 16 travelers on the spot. Their vehicle was set on fire, with some of the bodies trapped inside. Others were reportedly dragged out and thrown into the flames. Security operatives responded to a distress call but arrived too late to prevent the killings. However, four survivors were rescued and taken to His Grace Hospital in Uromi for medical care. Authorities have confirmed the arrest of five suspects linked to the attack, as investigations continue. Will justice be served in this case or not? |

eyesoflagos: In a heartbreaking and infuriating turn of events, a Nigerian man tragically lost his son due to an inability to pay a ₦25,000 medical bill. What made the situation even more devastating was the shocking discovery he made shortly afterward—his wife had ₦3.6 million sitting in her bank account, hidden from him. This shocking revelation, shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter), has left many reeling from the injustice. Eyes Of Lagos reports, The account, posted by user @dkkcaramell, detailed the experience of his neighbor, a grieving father who had to cope with the loss of his child due to financial constraints. The man, already struggling with the weight of the loss, uncovered the startling bank alert that revealed his wife’s significant savings after their son’s death. According to the post, the father divorced his wife after learning that she had kept ₦3.6 million in her account while their son’s life was lost over the inability to afford the medical fees. “Husband divorced his wife after finding an alert of ₦3.6m and their only son died in the hospital because of ₦25,000,” the user wrote. “To everyone saying this can’t be true, it actually happened to my neighbor. And by the way, he’s currently single.” The story quickly went viral, sparking outrage among online users, with many expressing disbelief, anger, and sympathy for the grieving father. Comments flooded in, with some blaming the wife for her greed and insensitivity, while others questioned the father’s own choices in the face of such a heartbreaking situation. All these tales by moonlight, are there no real stories out there for you all to focus on? A child died because the family refused to pay the N25K bill, but no hospital name or address was mentioned. A man divorces his wife, no name is mentioned, not even a bank address, or even a street abi a state address. Na wa oo! |

ucheagu: ➜See never be in a rush to miss use the word "enlightened" ➜ because all of this might be a forced narrative on us to make us less human and more of a robot.. ➜ But all am saying here is that I would really like to have experience what they had.. Back then you get to hear the news one week after the event but now you get to hear the news of the whole world in a day with your phone... ➜ And am not complaining.. I know thing have change but we are on a fast lane. PS am not going to reply you again have a good life 1a. WOW... knowledge intended to help one make better decisions— ignorance the alternative — is not to be considered a sort of enlightenment? 1b. WOW.... make you less human? The narratives provided by other human sources may be geared towards making you less human. Isn't this here an attempt by your person to assert that you must have been more human than those other human sources, to begin with? 2. You can experience it if you want to. There are still millions of people whose lives are not colored by the fast-moving world around them. There are 10s of millions of Nigerians who have not even seen the news in Nigeria or experienced electricity in over a month. So, I guess the question here is what has been stopping you from pursuing the off-the-grid life? 3. Life on the fast lane remains a choice even to this day. Again, in many parts of Nigeria, many people don't live life on the fast lane. So, again, the question is why have you chosen to pretend it a better life while not pursuing it with all fervor? |

Stayingalive: ➜You can be charged by other part of the Nigeria law but the concept “rape” in marriage does not exist. The part she said he hit her and the rest can easily be handled by human right part of the law. So I am just stating the concept of rape Nonsense! 🙄🙄 There is no reason for rape to be defined along marriage lines since bodily autonomy is a right that is not waved even in marriage. For this reason the concept of "rape" in marriage is meaningless unless where explicitly defined. And since the the Criminal Code 357 does not redefine rape for marriage, rape, even in marriage remains a criminal offense. It is only in the penal code which applies specifically to northern states in Nigeria that you would find the redefinition of rape along marital lines. What that clause does in that situation is nothing but an excuse for rape in marriage, and this only in the northern states of Nigeria.
